Need more space to move around with shopping 🛒. Bathrooms need to be more clean too.
They dont wash or wipe the carts for health regulations during the pandemic. They also make one long line even though there are multiple open counters. It feels unsafe compared to other markets, where each cart is cleaned.
First time shopping but by the looks of the fresh fruit and vegetables. They also have a food court with pre-cooked food. I bought the fried fist which was excellent for $3. Will be coming back
Great store! Lots of korean foods and snacks. Plenty of parking available.
Only place in yucca that sells vanilla brandy and offers superior service. Thank you Robbie and Armet for being wonderfully kind and awesome customer service representatives. Ill always patronize super1 market 💯💜🙏🏽
This is pretty much the only Korean American supermarket around the city of La Palma, Lakewood, Cerritos, Hawaiian Garden, Norwalk, Artestia, and even Long Beach. Unless you want to go to Irvine, Buena Park, and Fullerton. The place has descent pricing and variety of groceries. Pick up your Korean BBQ meat here marinated or Unseasoned. They have premade food here ready for your likings. A small food court is available too. Explore the taste of Korea!!!!!!!
Its a Korean food supermarket price good like it
Good price for fruit. Less choice for organic fruit & veggies. Overall clean place.
Noticed that the parking lot is always busy here and the aisles are pretty narrow but definitely a go to for me to get all the Korean groceries. Produce is usually fresh and good quality.
Smaller than what I expected - am used to bigger Hannam Supermarket locations - parking was good but the flow of customer traffic inside the was a little crowded and narrow - to think there were not that many customers.
Great vegetables and eggs.
Love this grocery store. They have super fresh fruits and veggies
Korean super market. Great Korean junk food selections.
I went to this market in the morning today, Dec. 31 2020. As expected, it was very busy. I actually wanted to give this place 3.5 starts this time but since theres no half star and considering they had everything I wanted almost everytime and the staff were always friendly, 4 star would be fair. But today was disappointing. They didnt take more actions for this covid situation. It looked like business as usual pre-covid. No line getting in even though it was very very busy. With that said, inside was very crowded with less to no social distancing. They didnt wipe or provide antibacterial wipes for the carts. I didnt see anyone (employee) cleaning them. They had one bottle of hand sanitizer near the entrance. I wrote this review not to say bad things about this market but to give people heads up, so you know what youre going into. I visit this market on regular basis and always love shopping here. I just wish they were more diligent on health and safety precautions/measurements.
Im not Korean, but I love to come here, produce is always fresh, meat is fresh, seafood the best.
It is a very good again market.
Good place for Asian grocery. All the veggies are fresh and it usually have special sales for the weekend.
Busy store. Rather large variety.
Very wow such good
Good customer service, groceries bagging services have been provided through the year. During the pandemics, when the customers are recommended not to bring their own reusable bags, the store offers one time use plastic bag with bagging services. I used to shop at Zion supermarket, but not anymore since customers are told to bag their own groceries.
Its a smaller and cheaper version of Hmart. I come here to buy hot pot meats and korean hot/cold foods.
Looking around, friendly employees. Found great deals.
OMG! if you want great produce, fresh, large, unique, and delicious, this is the place. plus, if you have any questions about them the employees that work on the produce section are great!plus they have it all...gadgets, cooking ware, prepared food everything. its always an adventure. Have the google translate app handy in case you have questions about ingredients and such
Plenty of asian food options available.Great service. The cashier that helped me was very friendly.
Lots of variety. Go every week 😅
The aisles are a little narrow, which makes it a little difficult to shop in during a pandemic. Especially when you need to bring your child along. Still, its got the stuff you need and is good quality.
It definitely is my fav korean market. They follow social distancing rule not like other korean H mart where that place were zoo like couple days ago. This place have good and fresh produce and also meat and fish dept. Cashiers are pretty friendly and food.
Well-liked market in South Bay area
People who work there were kind. They were following social distancing. Wish they sanitize the cart often.
This place is great for korean delicacies. I take my mom hear to stock up on meats for home cooked shabu shabu. This place is also very safe and practicing cleanliness and social distancing.
Their price is reasonable. Sometimes they have really good prices on sales items. The market is clean and not too crowded. Good for a quick run.
The products are good and the cashiers are kind.
You can buy Korean products cheaply and the staff are friendly. Especially the vegetables are fresh
Best place to get veggies
They advertised fresh Pollock fish on sales. What a seanky people. They scraped fish eggs out of fishes, all 4 of em. I have had never bought in such a condition.
Unprofessional and needed to maintain fresh vegetables and fruits.
Be sure to check your receipt. They often charge you more than the actual price. Today cashier at register #4 overcharged me, but I caught her. She charged me $13.99 for a bag of garlic that cost $2.49. I wondered why she wasnt scanning the item.
Simply put.... its a Korean Grocery. They have a wide variety of Korean and local merchandise to choose from. And there is a small and cozy restaurant serving Korean foods. Definitely commands a visit.
Great variety of products and staff is respectful and helpful.
Oh man, Im not Korean but this place is good for seafood. Vegetables and fruits
Small, friendly asian supermarket. prices are pretty cheap here and quality of their produce I think is great. but not for those who arent used to asian culture. if you arent used to it, you probably shouldnt go or go with low expectations at least...
Of all the ethic supermarkets, Korean supermarkets tend to be the best in quality. Super 1 is no exception. Their fruits/vegetable/meats are consistently in far better quality than any Chinese supermarkets. And often, better priced too. We go there at least once a month to stock up.
Nice store
The best price in 36 pack of TECATE
Lots of good stuff. Many of them marked Made in Korea. Fruits looked fresh and inexpensive. Good place to visit often.
I guess itd be a little bit easier to navigate if I spoke Korean all right place
Good quality foods, affordable. I drive 30m to do my grocery shopping here
Good selection of things and really nice, helpful cashiers! Edit: their produce game has improved a lot and its honestly the best around now! And the rest of the products and the Chinese place inside are all pretty solid!
The market is relatively small, and small a little. Price is approximate H-Mart. No advantage shopping here.
Great place for Asian grocery food. Outstanding customer service.
Although theres a plethora of item selections, the aisles are pretty narrow. I could imagine it would very difficult to maneuver on busy days.
Love this place. Fresh and high quality fruits and produce with very reasonable price and good selections. It is smaller compared to most bigger chains but offers most everything I need.
Good place to shop for everyday little food need but a big regret, the price inside not match the weekly ad at the front door. Cheater.
They have fresh products all the time. Management seems doing their jobs. Staffs are very friendly.
I love this place. There are many kinds of groceries that are fresh and cheaper.
Super 1 Mart is a good place to get Korean ingredients, inexpensive produce, and some prepared Korean foods. They have a small food court inside. At lunch, it gets busy there, and its hard to find parking.
Like the variety of fresh WILD seafood. Lots of Asian foods and a small food court as well. Its small but has everything. Usually has good sales on weekends.
Old style supermarket but good items and price
Hannam Supermarket was very nice well-stocked well clean very helpful totally enjoyed my shopping experience I believe you will too stop by there are more than happy to help you with any questions or find any item you need happy shopping
Good help to find the goods and groceries..
I love coming here to buy their beef! Its seriously the best in the area!
Narrow aisles
Good and reasonable price and clean
One of the better Korean markets in the area. If you spend a certain amount of money, they donate some money to the church of your choice. They also have a rewards program if you spend $30 or more (excludes sale items). Highly recommend the fruits and vegetables.
Its pretty small but has all the korean basics
Always come here for good price produce and other stuff that are on sale. Only minor problem is some dont have price labeled or mislabeled.
Not the best, but good enough for my need for Korean groceries and closer to my house. There are better Korean grocery market s but much farther for me.
Great customer service and careThank you
They are selling always good side dishes and sale items.
Parking is difficult, and everytime I go there its super crowded. However if you need ingredients for that Korean recipe you want to make, this is the place to go. Much better selection than Hmart.
Great market that has most of the Korean items you want at great prices. Their produce section is great with some of the best prices around, much better than Ralphs.
Great place for produce, seafood, precut meats and all the amenities youd find in an Asian supermarket. Great place to shop!
Prices are on the high end side but the quality is mediocre. Only go here when nowhere else is available to shop.
My favorite market and your best Korean market. Banchan are good too.
Folks this place has the shines floor Ive ever seen.. I dont let my wife put on dresses when we go .🤪🤪🤡
Good store, friendly staff, and all the hard to find items. Win win win
Good place for buying Korean groceries
Too many people
They always have enough check stands open, so your waiting time is very reasonable
Closest Korean market to where I live but if I an alternative choice, I would go there instead. Not the widest selection of Korean products compared to HMart. I do like their seafood/veggie selections to price but other than that, their bland banchan and expired frozen foods in their stock keep me wondering for something better.
Favorite place to go for korean shopping. Me and family alike.
Well preparedand fresh produce and good selections of Korean food ingredients.
Staff didnt know where anything in the store was, not a very big selection. Couldnt find any of the stuff I needed
Witness the spectacle of the hunter meticulously stalking his prey. I, being the methodical hunter & the helpless, doomed prey being................free samples!Super 1 Mart is a Korean supermarket in La Palma offering great deals on produce, meat & ready made food. Every weekend, sample ladies offer various soup, curries, mandoo & other food to shoppers passing by. Like Costco, w/o the membership fee & ginormous quantities of products. Why go to uber-expensive Albertsons, when you can get quality items for cheap at Super 1 Mart? What quality items you say? Well, were talking about a dozen organic, free range eggs for $4 & change. Were talking about Satsuma tangerines for a really good price. Green tea Kit Kats, too! Ethnic supermarkets offer the best selection & prices on produce, bar none.Need something quick for dinner? Super 1 Mart has you covered. With ready made food plastic-wrapped & awaiting you, like japchae & Korean pancakes. All at reasonable prices & better for you than a stop at Jack in the Crack. The seafood section always seems fresh, with imported fish from Norway & other regions. Packaged sushi & sashimi, uni & live fish round out the options available for your fishy needs. On every occasion Ive been here, the supermarket has been slow to busy, but not packed like Zion in Hawaiian Gardens. The aisles seem to have just enough space to not seem cramped. Parking can be hard to come by during peak hours, with a lot shared by La Capilla, Soy Tofu, Boba Loca, Pho Home & other businesses.Located on the left of Super 1 Mart by the entrance, Cocohodo has a location for your hodo gwaja (walnut balls) fix. There used to be a Man Doo Rang Express & a soondubu shop, but it looks like they have closed, unfortunately.Super 1 Mart is a great place to stock up on provisions, with an Asian flair. Cheap prices, quality selection & the free samples keep this shoppers cart pointed in Super 1 Marts direction. Youll find me here on any given weekend, stuffing my face with samples like a squirrel does acorns.Highly recommend!
Very good Korean supermarket.
One of my favorite Markets in the area
Small but always crowded.
A Korean supermarket. If you are looking for food imports from Korea, this is the place. In fact they are still labeled in Korean.
You can see all type of Korean goods and catering and fresh vegitables.
If you want Korean groceries, meats, or spirits close to Cypress, La Palma, and Cerritos, you cant beat Hannam Super Market.
The Korean soup is great.
Place is Clean. Reasonable prices of product.
Veggies and fruits are great to select and purchase, price is fair and reasonable.
Advertise 9 pm not letting in 8 40
Korean market with decent pricingProduce quality differs from time to time
There are many things to buy. Good price to me.
Okay store
