Possibly one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had dealing with a place of business. I ordered a rifle back in February of this waited over 8 months for it to arrive. Once it finally does arrive it’s takes few weeks for any kind of communication that the rifle has arrived. I have to keep calling almost like I’m asking them them for a favor to do business. It’s as if once they realize that a sale isn’t going through it’s like they don’t want too deal with you because a profit isn’t being made. I have officers who ask for a good FFL location and I tell to steer clear despite a decent transfer fee because the poor customer service isn’t worth the headache. If you are a LEO stir clear. Funny thing is I was referred here by another officer. I’m just trying to process a refund and the nightmare is still going. I want to finally wipe my hands clean of them and never do business here again.

Purchased two guns from them and have used their FFL service for two others. They have gone above what is expected each time. Highly recommend.

This rating is about the gunsmith aspects of the business. The retail seemed ok. Based on my experience I would avoid this business for any gunsmith services.The service requested was the installation of a muzzle brake. When I picked up the gun the muzzle brake had clearly not been installed properly. The muzzles top vents had been tightened to about the 2 oclock position. Watch any decent youtube video and the top vents should be centered around the 12 oclock position. Yup, I am saying it appears they couldnt even muster the intellectual effort required for watching a youtube video. Moreover the muzzle brake was not even tightened properly. The crush washer must be crushed. This requires numerous rounds of tightening and loosening to bring the top vents around clockwise back up to the 12 oclock position. It was apparent they had only tightened to the 2 oclock position and stopped. They thankfully did not over tighten the muzzle brake and cause me to waste even more money.I didnt say anything while at the store. I didnt want them to try and fix it and possibly make it worse. I just wanted to cut bait and hoped I could fix it at home. It was apparent they had no idea what they were doing. Alternatively if they did know what they were doing it would appear they thought I had no idea what a properly installed muzzle brake looks like and took my money without doing the labor of tightening and loosing the muzzle brake into its proper position. Whatever the case may be I just paid the fee, went home and fixed it myself. For me it wasnt worth the hassle to deal with someones hurt feelings.I should have taken the cue from the beginning of the transaction. Definitely got the brush off. Should of walked away at that point. If you arent going to do a good job you probably shouldnt take on the job.The muzzle break is a basic job. When I got back home I worked the muzzle brake back around to the 12 oclock position and everything seems ok. It was a complete waste of money to go to gunmonkey for this exceptionally basic service that I ended up doing my self. Lesson learned. Any one can say they are a gunsmith.

I stopped by just to check the place out and very happy I did. Staff was friendly and showed me several pistols, rifles with out issue even though I wasnt ready to buy. I hung around to BS for nearly an hour and just purchased some Black Rifle Coffee, Thin Blue Line roast wich is great. I found a new gun shop and will be happy to give them my $$$.

Well I had an interesting experience. Firstly I was VERY happy to see we have a local gun shop and Smith in LaPlata. Very cool. I stopped in and saw an Del ton rifle I asked the price and was happily surprised. However when I returned the next day with the money in pocket I was told the pricexwas 80$ more then the day before. Now its possible I misheard the first price but could have sworn I heard right. Well I didnt purchase the weapon as I was a bit confused. So today I called and found the price had gone up 15$ from the day before. Do that was it for me. I dont know what happened if the guy just didnt care for me or he thought he could just get a little (alot) extra outta me ether way Im done and dont plan on going back. I realize it his shop and can charge whoever however much he wants.. The response about the 4 different models makes no sense. None
