We shop there for several years now and the staff is consistently friendly and knowledgeable. The store has a wonderful variety of alcoholic beverages, from beer to wine to liquor, very well stocked and organized. They also do a great job with seasonal beer and liquor, ideal for entertainment and gift. When in doubt, just ask the staff, theyre super helpful and make it fun to shop there. Thanks so much!

Just when I thought Covid couldnt get worse I found a slice of heaven in the darkness. This Shangra-La in the heart of La Plata has everything you could ask for; Beer from the brew gods, a wine selection that would make Bacchus smile in pride and enough great liquor to knock out an celebrating NFL team. Billy in particular was very helpful and seems like a great staff. Will be going here for all of my drinking needs in the future

Fantastic array of craft beer to select from. And here we are early August, and they already have Samuel Adams Octoberfest. The employees are always helpful and polite. I found their prices on spirits to be higher than local average, but the selection of beer and wine cant be beat.They keep nearly all the name brand beers in the cooler, plus a broad range of craft brews. Prices on craft are generally cheaper than local average. Highly recommend their drive through, its an awesome way to get your brew and go.

This is the best liquor store in the LaPlata/Waldorf area of Charles county. They have a great selection. I looked at numerous stores for a bottle of champagne to give as a gift to a friend. I wanted a particular brand that was highly rated. I could not find it until I went into Colonial. They had a great selection of champagnes and several that were highly rated. Love this store.

Colonial Liquors has always had a wide selection of wine, liquors and beer. While heading out for the weekend I was able to find items other stores failed to have on hand. Colonial offers some really good deals on wine and has one of the largest selections in the La Plata, Md area. Easy access from the US 301 roadway and they have a Drive-Thru.

They pick & choose to cash your check. Very upset to drive as far as we did to get to the closest check cashing place for the guy to be a complete douche. Stated he needed to get the managers approval & the manager was conveniently not there. They had cashed the same check for the same amount 2 weeks ago.
