Shipleys, DD, krispy creme, etc.. They are good; however if you ever want a fresh, old fashioned doughnut, this is the place to go. The atmosphere is homey and comfortable, and the doughnuts and kolaches are.. well, to be in business at the same location for almost 40 years speaks for itself I think. A true LaPorte gem.

We have a 5 year old whos a lil bit picky, and she wanted a pink and a blue donut. They had pink immediately available, but no blue. When we mentioned it, they made us a blue one. The service was fast and polite. The kolaches are yummy too! Kinda wishing we werent on vacation so we could get this every day.

Ive been coming here for over 20 years since I moved to La Porte while the owners I think have changed within those years they still have the same delicious kolaches the best kolaches than anywhere Ive been. Simple and delicious. Would change 4 stars to five if they had glazed blueberry donuts they go good with kolaches!!!

The owners are always friendly and make me and my kiddos feel welcome every Wednesday when we go in for Donuts with Dad. We enjoy the donuts and the boudin kolaches.

Stopped here while I was in town for work to grab some breakfast.There is plenty of parking out front. The service was great, the employee was super nice and friendly. There were a ton of options to choose from. I have no self control when it comes to snacks so I ordered a little bit of everything. I got donut holes, boudin kolache and a cinnamon roll. I would say that the donut holes were my favorite of all the things I ate. I think they would have been much better if they were a little warmed up. The boudin kolache was good as well. The cinnamon roll I wasnt too much of a fan of. But I give this place a 5 star for being such a friendly small town donut shop.
