CHECK OUT THE NEW MENU BOARD.! This is a great place to get a good tacos al pastor, fish tacos or carne asada. One of my favorites is to get the flautas combo. Their menudo is good on the weekends. The new sign is very nice its clean and easy to read.

I have been gone from the area for 3 years and apon my return I just had to try a burrito once again. Well I wasnt disappointed at all. A very good burrito and at a fair price. A bit of a wait for it to be prepared but worth it. When in or near LaQuinta its a must stop place.

Excellent market with the nicest staff and the best food you can find around. The beans and rice are exceptional and the carne asada torts are delicious 😋. You cant go wrong if you are searching for authentic Mexican food and a down home friendly atmosphere. Veteran owned and operated by the nicest husband and wife team. Also a great little market when you need those last minute groceries, fresh and delicious.

The service is despicable at best. My order was ready and it just sat there. The lady behind the counter told me to go to McDonalds for faster service. I understand we all have a bad days so I told the person at the cashier what had happened. But the worst part was the taste of the food the meat was really old. They dont even deserve 1 star. I was there yesterday my wife got the runs.

One of my favorite places to eat. The best carne asada in the desert! We had an issue with grub hub and the owner was quick to rectify the problem even though it wasnt their fault. We will continue to support this wonderful family business and spread the word of their amazing food!

If you want authentic Mexican food, this is the place. The hard shell beef tacos are the best in the village. Usually take out, but you can eat there. Worth checking out if you’ve tried every other restaurant in the village.

Delicious counter service food. Order and pick up for an easy meal. The market also has other food items including a meat counter and vegetables, beer and sodas, and some staples. Burritos are large, tacos packed, and a nice selection of plates. Authentic Mexican food.

This little market is the icing on the cake for me!I live in the quaint Spanish old town village of La Quinta. This tienda, ( store in Spanish), is a gem . Its a family owned and operated market.The prepared food, typical home-style authentic Mexican menu, is delicious. Their meats and seafood for sale are top-notch! I am blessed to be within a short hop, skip and a jump away from this Mom n Pop shop. I always thought it was called Calle Tampico Carniceria.

You should only consider shopping here, if rancid donkey meat is what you’re looking for, from a butcher.The meat was shiny and iridescent brown in a lot of places it had come into contact with other surfaces, but we needed something quick to season heavily for tacos. Unfortunately nothing was enough to cover the gamey, foul taste, from the best looking meat they had. Maybe the season is slowing down, but it’s really not a good excuse for dirty surfaces and spoiled meat.Lesson learned, there are 6 or 7 grocery stores within 5-10mins from their store, if you give any one of them your money for meat, you’ll be in much better shape.
