Went to get my hair cut and conditioned by Lisa but unfortunately she was still working on a clients hair. She let me know someone else was going to wash and condition my hair. Which I thought was very efficient and loved that they communicated to me first. I let them know if Lisa was busy anyone could cut my hair. So Leslie ended up washing, cutting and styling my hair. When I tell you she did amazing that’s and understatement! I walked out of there feeling like I was a model. I feel so blessed to now have two wonderful stylists at Ulta to go to!!!! Thank you!!!

I went to ultra beauty a few weeks ago to buy makeup, a young lady attended me in a very friendly way, they also offered me makeup tests totally free, that day I acquired a makeup base that matches my skin tone, totally satisfied with the service!

Talia did a great job on my cut and color, and she was very professional and very thorough in her consultation. Highly recommend her services

My wife got a new hair style. Her stylist recommended a specific curling iron. Ulta had it. Its a very nice store with a friendly staff.

I love this Ulta and this week had the best experience ever. There is a kind and sophisticated woman who works there who used to work for St. Tropez and she is amazing. She helped me find lashes (not that I need them) and tanning lotion (not that I need that either) haha! I cant wait to go back and ask her advice on other products. Rosalia has an ugly attitude. She needs to be trained to be an actual employee, never coming back here again.

The gal who is a customer service rep for the Benefits line was extremely helpful and what she recommended was what I was looking for. The store has a wide selection of products for any woman of any color.

What a beautiful store! The girls were soooo NICE and helpful and professional! Everyone was practicing social distancing and all the girls had masks on!! I’m in the industry ( hairdresser) and I am totally impressed with this place!!

The employees were super rude. I asked for information on a product and the employee rolled her eyes. At check out the cashier was also really rude. She threw the products in the bag and didn’t even hand me the bag. Terrible service.

I went in today with a friend of mine looking for face skin care help. We met Heath, and he helped guide us towards what we he recommended we use based off our requests. He was very sincere and explained in depth how each product worked. Very impressed with his knowledge and customer service skills

Went here are a whim when their were about to close. Because I had to return products I just bought from the Moreno valley Ulta. They were super swift and sweet. But the manager Jackie went out her way to book a salon appointment for me after complementing her on her color. Love this store. Even though its out the way Ill still drive to this location.

The girls here are all rude. Little to no enthusiasm at all. You can tell their fake “kindness” towards customers or at least to me. It’s best if you just go to the Ulta in Indio, way better customer service.

Ulta is the ultra! They have everything for all your beauty needs. The staff is informed and friendly. They have great sales, like buy one, get the second 50% off my favorite Tree Hut body butter. I always find what I need.

Cashier Rosalia. Has no customer service skills at all. Yelling at a customer rudely is disrespectful and unprofessional It’s almost like they were trained at this store too treat customers like the aren’t welcome too shop here. Obviously management is letting this behavior continue only because they aren’t any different, this is known by the other review writers on here.

One of the cashiers today had a very nasty attitude, please learn how to train your employees properly. It doesn’t give a good look to the company or store at all. Do better.

I went here for a hair trim (Im trying to grow my hair long) and my hair stylist did an amazing job. She cut off the right amount and styled my curled my hair just they way I wanted it. If you want your hair done exactly the way you want, ask for Annabelle (I believe thats her name) shes definitely a stylist who understands your vision. Plus the products they use make your hair incredibly soft. I know because my mom got her hair done by her too. 10/10 would recommend.

This Ulta was GREAT at Christmas! Extended hours are helpful, but the associates are even more so. Their product knowledge and willingness to genuinely help is a rare and pleasant change. I find this true year round.

During the pandemic easy and easy out customer service was great

Standing in line with 8 people in front of me and only one cashier. Once I was checking out, I tried verifying price sales and the cashier was not only avoiding my questions but was more concerned with the other customers giving her dirty looks, so I left without any answers. Now looking over my receipt I did not get the 20% off some items and was not happy with being pushed out of the way. I will be returning all of my purchases and I do not believe I will be using ULTA for future purchases. I do understand it is the busy time of the year, but customer service is #1.Thank you for this opportunity,Robin P

I bought a compact, opened the package about 15 minutes after purchasing. The sponge was dirty & the powder looked used. When explaining that I was sold a used item, the manager explained that a customer must have confused it for a sample that sits on the top shelf. I said, no thats not possible because I watched your employee pull it out from the bottom drawer. When I worked at Sephora ALL returned items were marked as damaged, NOT at Ulta so make sure you check the product.

Very bad experience. Ordered a eyeshadow pallet and when I arrived to pick it up it was all messed up in the inside I told the employee to change it and she brought one the same but the felt on the pallet was dirty her answer was that’s all we have! Either take the messed up one or the dirty one or cancel it . Very disappointed never had I shopped here first and last time.

Just walking around, minding my own business, when Paula floats down from hair care heaven. She somehow knew I needed help with my wavey hair. She pointed me to the right products without ever being asked. If everyone is as helpful as her, then I will definitely be back!

Even though this one is closer to my house I rather drive the extra mileage and go all the way to Palm Desert. They need friendly staff and people that know their products. I have to be chasing the floor people to help me with a particular thing that Im looking for a cool standing looking around for almost 10 minutes until somebody acknowledge that I need help not too happy with the store wouldnt go back

I prefer this Ulta, it is newer and quieter than the location in Palm Desert. The brands carried at each Ulta vary a little based on clientele and what nearby Ultas carry, so this location carries a large line of Lipstick Queen and Anastasia (which the Palm Desert location now carries some of too.) I also find the staff at this store are more hands off but friendly when you have a question. I dont want 3 people asking if I need help in the space of a minute. I prefer to shop in peace (they do check on you here, just not to an annoying level) and ask if I need something, if you prefer more hands on customer service you may like P.D. location.Also, be aware if you have a large purse or backpack you will be serviced to death. Theyre protecting their stock from the small percentage of people who steal so dont take it personally. 🙂

A lady working there would not stop following my friends and I. Any isle we went too shed follow and kept an eye on us. She approached my friend of having a liquid lip and what she did with it as if she had stole it.. also my friend never even picked up a liquid lipstick.. she kept asking if we wanted a bag even tho my friend only had two small products and we didnt need a big bag its not like we were gonna buy a lot and kept asking if we wanted her to place the stuff in the front. It was rude as hell like let us shop in peace. Kept approaching us asking if we needed help like if we needed help wed ask for it we already said no. Didnt even buy anything because we got so annoyed. We were only there for 10 minutes. Rather go to the Ulta in La quinta theyre way more friendly and dont bug as you shop as if you were stealing.

My daughter and I go in at least once a month to look for something. Its always available and staff is friendly.

I was in the La Quinta store for over an hour and not one associate came and asked if I needed help. In Palm Desert they are so attentive and so willing to help you. Thats to bad 😞

Great service, a bit pricey but Worth it.

I went in knowing pretty much nothing about make up asking for help to start trying things for my upcoming wedding. At first it took a while to get some help, then ai girl took me to the back to show me some stuff to try. She didnt really listen too the colors I wanted but it looked ok on the one eye, then she took it off. She took me to the Clinique girl Leslie. Leslie is the reason this is such a good review. She took her time showing me what worked best with my skin and gave me tips and tricks on how to use the makeup. At the end I loved what she did and felt I could do it myself at home. Then she helped me pick the right products to fit my budget. She told me what products were best to get them and what I could get later if I decided I wanted them. She kept me within the budget I had set going in and was so fun to work with. She is also really focused on making everything sanitary! If she grabbed a sample to use she cleaned it before and after using it on me which is so important to me.

My god I was so bored and there werent any chairs up front to seat on and wait . Im sorry I dont like your store. Thank you

I was at this ulta a few days ago and had one of the worse experiences ever I honestly couldnt believe my eyes. I come to this location often because I love make up and Im here constantly. The staff in general is not the best, but I just ignore it. But on this day I was looking at a product that had just been released and Audra, a girl that works there, said excuse me and basically moved me from where I was and she was helping another customer telling her about the same product I was looking at first. Then I grabbed the last shade of that product before and she grabbed all the other remaining shades and showed them all to the lady she was helping so I wouldnt be able to get any more! Sorry this is long but I just couldnt believe she did that knowing I was there first and actually buying the product! The lady she helped didnt even buy anything!! What was worse was that the manager was there and witnessed this incident and didnt do a thing about it! I was amazed!

Bad, bad, service. Staff do not offer to help and they see a long line at the register they do not open another one. I asked if someone can help me (at the register) the only girl that was open said they are busy, I will help you in a minute I turn around and othe girls are just talking NOT BUSY. I have been there a cpuple of times. And I hate it.

I ordered online to pick up at store, first time ordering online, they will only hold 5 days, did not know that at first. i called to ask if they would hold 2 more days,( coming from out of state) she said no they couldnt, mind u even tho i had already paid for the item. i also asked if someone else could pick it up, she said unless i assign a different pick up person at time of purchase i had to pick up myself. wont be doing that again.

It was horrible. I don’t know if it’s because they were understaffed or because it was busy but it was a mess. I was trying to get color matched to a foundation and when an employee finally made her way to me she was so uneducated. She was giving me options like “well have you tried this one? Well idk” She was going to show me the Lancôme foundations, which she said “I don’t work for Lancôme so I’m not too familiar with them” then an older lady asked her a question and she dismissed me and said “I’ll be back to help you” and never came back. I waited 20 minutes. Makeup is a luxury, not a necessity. If someone decides to spend their hard earned money on high end makeup, the person selling should be very educated on the product they are selling. I mean, come on.

This isnt a place to bring your kids so that they can stick their fingers in the make-up while you shop! Id like to shop without waiting for your 2 six-year-olds to try on all the lipsticks/eyeshadows in the store!Other than that, you can get all things beauty under 1 roof; from facials, haircolor, perfume, skin care, tools, & more!You want beach waves? Ask for Brenda, shes the best & its only about $20, what a deal!

I love this store (La Quinta). I was matched PERFECTLY by an associate. She worked with me until matching (took many trys). Im glad I skipped on Sephora.A day before I went into Sephora on El Paseo and asked to be matched. It looked great in the store but when I walked outside, I was red. It was terrible.I debated on a Sephora and Ulta. I chose Ulta.The associate asked about my skin care, skin concerns and what i wanted. She had me go to the natural light after every testing.I love my foundation (Becca - Olive). Ulta is my beauty paradise😚

I only visit ULTA a couple of times and the customer service wasnt like other brand make up stores, and when I pay I ask about the points and additional goodies other stores give you when you purchase a large quantity of make up. I was just not satisfied with their customer service.
