We purchased a new 25 foot Ranger Tug from Reed Yacht Sales in 2015 and then a 29 foot Ranger Tug in late 2020, with delivery in 2021. Bob Lunt was our sales person in both cases, with support from Brent Reed. Bob has always treated us with respect, gone out of his way to answer our questions, and make our buying (and selling) and ownership experiences positive. Everyone we have meet at Reed Yacht Sales has always put our needs and interests first.

First of all, Chuck is the best. The whole operation is well run and organized. They do everything first class; return calls, answer questions, give you honest answers to your questions with no pressure and most of all they do everything they say they are going to do. Great place to do business; I highly recommend.

I bought my Islander 32 from Reed Yacht Sales a year ago. I loved the boat then, and still do. Chuck was a great resource and went above and beyond as a salesman.

Really great, knowledgeable staff -- our salesman Chuck has been fabulous. Helpful with all our pre-purchase questions, and the post-purchase support has been exceptional. We had a few small issues that were handled perfectly, and some customizations that exceeded our expectations. Purchased a zodiac/Avon RIB for a good price given the quality of the boat and the service.

I bought a $74,000 dollar boat from Reed’s (Chuck Hutchins) last February. I had one major concern however, that was possible freeze damage. With a promise from Chuck that if there were any damage and because he said “Toledo Beach Marina performed the winterization” that he would make sure that it would be taken care of at no cost or labor to me. As spring sprung, the engine Raw Water Pump started leaking, then the head started leaking, then the fresh water pump. With many request for Chuck to help, he finally ordered a head, which I had to pay for and change myself. He then refused to help mediate between Toledo Beach and myself. Finally, Chuck attempted to reprimand me by saying I dragged him into my problem. What I’ve learned, after Reed Yacht Sales (Chuck Hutchins) gets your money he/they forget what ever promise they’ve made to make the sale. You better get it in writing, have a witness and get it notarized when dealing with this place, this salesman.
