Closing at 9:00pm and no checkers available after that time. Clearly trying to get the shoppers out before 930 or 10. They are definately not open until 11.Prices are high. A regular shopper exclaimed some of the produce he normally buys is up over 50%.Lots of empty space on the shelves. Limited selections in areas youd think were easy to keep filled. Lots of double, triple and quadruple stocked shelves covering for missing product. Makes you think they are looking to close this location soon.Good luck if you go here.
So for some reason the guy in the meat the department says they can not slice my Top Sirloin steak. This is the first time I’m hearing this and doesn’t sound right. He claims he can only cut it in half although every Kroger I have been too has a slice example and they ask you how thin. I will be calling corporate about this to find out as well. I don’t want to waste my time and come to this Kroger if that is how lazy they are going to act.
Working here day to day. Honestly we do alright, if the warehouse has it, but if they are out so are we. Trucks every night, so out of stocks are maxed 3 days. Staff is masked, but easily 50% of customers, and vendors dont have masks and are unenforced, even with free masks available...
Every time I come here customer service is closed.Yet on the store hours for this location it says open till 8 pm. They are liars or just not prepared for some people that need their services
Guess who got the infected chicken recently...Can you say Projectile Vomitus?
Shelves werent stocked like before the pandemic & havent been for quite some time @ any of the stores
It’s definitely not the first place I’d go to. The one in Smyrna is more updated and not as cramped! They also have more registers. It’s just such a SMALL Kroger! It constantly has a rotten smell in the meat section as well.Since COVID is going around, I wouldn’t go to this one at all, because its impossible to distance here. Flies are always around the pre made chicken under the heat lamps, and the holes on the containers for ventilation are big enough that these flies can EASILY crawl into. I have never NOT seen flies.
Rude staff and the entire store smelt like rotten meat.
All Krogers Employees/Staff are friendly, helpful and friendly atmosphere to shop in. Always asking if you need help or lending a helping hand to anyone. I used to work here, I was a cashier, Shelf stalker>(front facing shelves) also did loss prevention and I did carts, cleaned bathrooms, floors and I bagged groceries & took them to customers cars. Everything I did, I did to help others regardless if I was working or shopping.. Im a hard working Mother who helps others when needed or doesnt need help. Ive never asked for anything in return but a smile from our community and a hug every now and again. Overall: I like Krogers you should try them an see for yourself!!
Everyone who works here is extremely kind and friendly and helpful. The meat department people are wonderful, the cashiers are great! The pharmacy people are the BEST! The management staff are friendly and helpful! I have been going here for years now and it is my favorite store because I feel so welcome and appreciated. They treat my kids like celebrities which is a plus :)
Terrible, drive the extra couple of minutes and go to publix. Always out of stock, everything is crammed together, unhelpful staff. We just moved here and have gone three times and everytime I wish I wouldnt have. No carts, or carts all over the parking lot blocking lanes, spaces...and no one inside cares. Just skip this one...I know I will be. Even Walmart is better...
Worst customer service. Dont let them bag wine in that special bag, these bags arent capable of handling the weight. When I got home with 3 bottles and placed it on the counter, it tipped over, and before I could catch it, fell off and smashed all 3 bottles. I got cut cleaning up the mess, but left the broken bottles in the bag the same as packed. When I went to Kroger to complain about the bags, the manage couldnt be bothered to come to customer service, rather told the lady at the counter, it was MY FAULT! I brought the evidence to support my claim. In fact, when I placed the bag on the counter, it tipped to one side and had to be righted. I told the lady, if its doing this with empty broken bottles, imagine what happened with FULL bottles of wines.I insisted on speaking with the manager to show him the evidence, but I was passed off to Ashley - a cashier. Once told of my desire to speak with her - Ashley ignored me! Yes, ignored. I tried several times to make eye contact, but she continued to take customers. She picked up the phone at the register, though I couldnt hear what was said. She turned off the register light, and I began to approach her lane, but she continued to ignore me. Then a man came to her lane with items while the light was OFF, and she proceeded to check him out. She never once spoke a word to me. I complained to the lady at the customer service desk, but she neither phoned the manager in his office nor spoke to Ashley, rather shrugged, claiming there was nothing she could do. I showed her my Kroger card, and said that after nearly 3 decades of shopping there, I was done. I threw it in the trash and walked out, leaving the bag that NO ONE examined.
Shouldnt be open for business if you cannot provide the correct change to the customer
The smell of dead fish was so strong today. Why didnt corp have sense enough to put a return air vent in the back of the store. I think when the fried chicken cooks, the exhaust fans pull the fish smell to the front. Smyrna fish dept is about the same. Some days its a crazy strong odor.
I was in and out of the store, with everything on my list, in less than 30 minutes. It was neat and very organized. All shelves were fully stocked, and that was shopping at 10 p.m.
Overall I have no complaints. Sometimes I wish they would stock sale items better.
Vegan/vegetarian sections throughout are formidable. Organics go on sale often. Everything else youd expect from a mainstream grocer. Lines were quick even on Thanksgiving. Closeouts and Manager Specials dont tend to have that last leg ora, but actually decent. Havent encountered a rude associate yet
I shop here religiously more often than any other place near me. I usually find plenty of managers specials, especially on flowers. I buy myself a bouquet for around $6 or less on managers special once a week. A lot better than the Smyrna Krogers prices. They have been doing a better job restocking. Unfortunately, they lack having enough checkouts open. There is always only one cashier, David, who is there everytime I go in. To know him by name tells you something. He is great!
This is my local store. I like it because it is close and I am able to find items easily. It doesnt always have the freshest produce however.
I bought a product at another kroger (which is an hour away) and wanted to return it. I came to this store (my local store) to return it and they said they couldn’t and that I’d have to take it back to the original store.. makes no sense because yall sell the same product. There was no sorry or we can help find a solution - none of that. I was sent home unsatisfied with a product I didn’t need so I looked up on the website and it said I could return it but I called customer service to be sure and they said the same thing. The customer service woman was amazing though. She talked with the manager so I could return it. I went back to the store and asked a woman for the manager. She didn’t seem to care to help me anyways- NEITHER WOMEN DID. He came up, didn’t greet me or anything. Him and the cashier woman were talking low but I could still hear them. And all he asked was if I had the same debit, I said “No my bf bought it but I have another debit card and an I.D” and he gave me a merchandise card which I didn’t want. That’s $50 that could’ve been spent on something else and it’s crazy because all this happened TODAY!! We bought it today and returned it today! If they needed my bf to bring it back they could’ve said so but they were highly lacking communication skills and a lot of the employees aren’t that friendly either, they walk around you and don’t ask if you need help finding anything...I was sent home without a have a nice day and I was still unsatisfied.
Great place to shop! Produce is always kept nice and fresh.
I love! shopping @ Kroger they have everything fresh vegetables and meats i definitely love! there whole foods. I wish they would keep there floors cleaned more often its dirty especially in Antioch and Lavergne Stores they use to keep them waxed and shiny not anymore. It makes people think that there not caring about there store up keep.
You can find everything that you looking for at Krogers and you get discounts I loved it❤💙💚💛💜
Decent store. Pretty good employees too. Way better than Walmart.
Love this store! Wish they could do more business so that they can expand. Keep it up!
Very rude, I spent way to much money to have young kids be so rude. Also does not offer competitive prices like they did like Smyrna and others do
Its so hard to bear the smell in here. I go here a lot but, its not easy to concentrate while walking thru there. The smell of seafood is overwhelming. Always nice employees.
👍
The people at this store are so friendly. They always smile and say hello, offer to help and take care of any concerns.
This is a dark, dingy Kroger. 2 lines open with cashiers that just want to go home. Took 20 minutes to grab 3 items.
I usually always shop at Kroger for my groceries but lately they have been very disappointing. It started with my favorite bologna . It is the Fisher brand mesquite smoked cheddar and bologna. I could only find it at the Kroger in Lavergne and I would buy it nearly every time I was in there . Then one day out of nowhere they just stop carrying it . I ask them about ordering it just for me and that if I had to that I would buy an entire case of it . They tell me that they not only dont know what I am referring to but that they cant even find it in their records to be able to order it . Now for the last two days I have been in there trying to buy a package of the Tennessee Pride 30 count mild sausage patties and they dont have a single package in the store . I really believe that they need a new manager because the one that they have now is continually dropping the proverbial ball .
Helpful staff who helped me find the items I needed but didnt honor the coupon I had
TERRIBLE FRONT END MANGER SHOULD BE FIRED ASAP PERIODTTTT. MANAGEMENT DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING, THIS KROGER IS A JOKE AND RAN BY ALL OF ITS YOUNG EMPLOYEES PERIODTTTT-- MELVIN OUT PEACEEEEE --
Everyone was friendly and is was fast.I went to pharmacy and got some food items. No problem.
Love my local Kroger. Im there a few times a week. Nice employees.
Store is always clean and organized. Some of the produce gives me walmart vibes 😷 but aside from that I love this store!
I love going to Kroger they are the only place I like shopping at always good customer service good produce and mostly all the time have what I need very satisfied
Clean. Friendly staff. Merchandise well stocked. Great coupons on their app.
Stores are very well organized, neat and clean. Im especially partial to their fresh meats, always very good quality.
Loyal Kroger customer, but the cashiers make or break the experience. I usually use self check out, but did not today. Wont make that mistake again! I apparently interrupted a conversation David was having with a visitor; very abrupt, rude and unhelpful.
So I have been to this store a handful of times. But today was the worst experience Ive had. I am a couponer and Ive never had any problems at any other Krogers stores except this one today. I normally shop at Smyrna but they were renovating the parking lot so the next closest one was in La Vergne. The cashier was only taking 2 coupons or 1 coupon per 5 items. They do have their Buy 5 get $5 off sale I have been to 2 other Krogers stores and did not have any problems using 5 coupons per 5 items or 1 coupon per 1 item. I had a cart load of things and due to the frustration I had with the cashier and her own coupon policy, I had I had to cancel the ENTIRE order of groceries that was $300+. I will never set foot again at this Krogers location.
No issues, I always encounter friendly cashiers si thats always good
I like this location it is close and convenient. It stays very busy and parking is a pain sometimes. There are always several panhandlers in the parking lot who may approach you.
Typically a great place to shop, but today they inspired me to write a bad review. Firstly, when I asked an employee for help finding an item, instead of trying to find it with me, he said I dont think we have that and went back to chatting with his buddy.Second, the bagger forgot to bag an 89c gallon of distilled water and it got left. When called the store, instead of making a note of it and simply allowing me to get it next time I shopped, I was told I need to drive back down there now and get it now, or I wouldnt get it. 89c... Im supposed to take an extra trip and spend $3 in gas to retrieve an 89c item? Screw it. Keep your 89c, Ill take my business to Walmart.
People are nice, but the prices are to high, when your living on 95.00 a month food stamps prices do matter.
A quaint and friendly small store that has a nice variety of groceries.
I will always visit this store. Its convenient and has everything I need
Good store. Nice selections.
I fill my subutex here and it only cost me 88$ with the good rx app and I have paid 288$ before for the same amount of meds at Freds so they are the cheapest in the business..and they have the best brand I drive an hour and half from rickman just to use there services...there the best
Wonderful staff, STOP LOCKING UP LOPERAMIDE!!!! I usually buy in bulk for my colitis and cant since you all started only leaving 3 out and they have security devices. I always pay for them why should I suffer cuz there are people who steal them!?!
I dont like cashier, all of them are bad with there job
Very kind and quick service from the customer service associate that processed my transaction with attentiveness.
Slightly smaller then the Smyrna location with a bit fewer selections of things i perticularly look for, but still great.
Closes 1am.Area goin down toliet. So as a security concern no 24 hrs. Get in get out in daylight hrs just sayin there is just south and west a newer nicer more modern on on Sam Ridley Parkway
Love this Kroger. only issue is David the cashier. his customer service is aweful!! Ill stand in a longer line to avoid him
Great cutomer srvice. My eleven year old daughter was very please how someone stopped to go out of their way to help her find something.
When Josh came from the Sam Ridley Pkwy Kroger, he worked hard listening to customers issues. Pretty much the whole store was a mess. Out of date stock on shelves including cooking oil, beverage mixes, etc. It was a huge improvement. Since he left, it has fallen back to its old ways. The deli doesnt have the items for the chicken dinners to go ready. The steam table is never set up. The 2 slices of cake in the bakery are no longer there. Items dont get pulled forward on shelves. Produce is a mess again. Lettuce is a nightmare. The meat dept. has a sign that says it is open till 9pm, but they pull it during dinner time. Items that are on sale are hard to find until the sale is over. Obviously replenishment is failing. Its all just a mess. Bring Josh back as manager, because the new manager is failing. If you dont get it together, people will leave when the Super Wal-Mart opens.
I can usually get through the check out pretty fast at this location.
I was in and out without hassle. The only thing that I dont like about going to this particular store is the parking lot.
My favorite grocery store in the area. Great buys, great coupons and friendly staff.
I shop here at least 3 times per week, the staff is always friendly the lines are never too long and I always find what I need!!
Store manager is rude, older woman walking the aisles hunching over a shopping cart is nasty, Store is gross. From now on I will go up the street to Publix.
Shelves sparsely stocked. Freezer cases not illuminated. Not an enjoyable experience overall.
The selection is ok. But I didnt like the fact that I had to use my card as debit instead of credit because the cashier didnt know how and she locked my card trying to do credit by putting the card in backwards.
I was able to get in and get what I needed and get out very quick today
Great service. Easy to find what you need.
Helpful, courteous, friendly. Store is small and is limited on selection. Compared to other larger stores.
Was in and out quickly. Nice cashier.
Ok place but seems like they never have that one random thing you are looking for
The staff is always friendly and Kroger always has awesome deals.
Great store. Fantastic Staff
MONEY SERVICES ARE LIARS AND MANAGER NEEDS CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING AND IS RACIST TO HIS OWN RACE.I had just moved to La Vergne from Murfreesboro and I would always cash my check in the murfreesboro locations USING MY PASSPORT WITH NO HESITATION. The first time I cashed my check at this location the african american lady didnt hesitate or anything (because Im using my passport). But the next week I tried cashing my check using my passport again and she started making a big deal on how they only take ID cards and nothing else as form of ID. I told her I came here last week and she cashed my check using my passport and she didnt have a problem, sne then gave me attitude and snatched my passport trying to show me that it isint going to work. I then request the manager (which took him about 40 mins to get to me) he didnt bother to help us he just put his hand in our face when we were trying to explain to him how Ive always been able to use my passport and said its over. So MR. AGUILAR pretty much just told us to leave and as soon as he said that, the african american ladys (forgot her name) face lit up with a smirk. WORST HELP EVER
Fresh produce. Shopping earns gas discounts.
Just got back from Kroger and was very dissapointed at lack of care the bigger Mykayla took. She was throughing bags on top of the others not caring what smashed what. Put all my can goods in one bag and added frozen products to bag w.with not even double bagging it. Kroger quality in braggers has gone down significantly.
Very small, doesnt have much to offer. Good for a quick stop if you need bathroom essentials
This location need to remodel/upgrade. Very dated compared to the other Krogers. Should have a grocery pick up. Dated. This Kroger need a serious do over.
Found everything I was looking for. Nice staff.
The store is always clean and the people are friendly.
The store is less busy compared to other Krogers in the area but the layout was foreign and the selection was inferior. Nice parking lot though.
Clean store, helpful staff, and always have what I need in stock
Auwful location. I hate kroger now becuase of this location. The unfriendly manger refused to return molded fish that Ive purchsed from the smyrna location. I send my daughter with the recept, and he wanted the credit card purchsed with. He would not put it on a gift card. Publix will take goods without a recept. No more shopping at this location.
One. Of the best food markets
Close by, clean store, wide isles, a variety of foods, nice produce, friendly people
Great place to shop... always has the things Im looking for!!!
Nice Cozy friendly neighborhood kroger.
Super friendly.not as big as most.check experation dates! Seriously
Almost perfect, but selection can lack.
Need an over haul. Dont have many things like they have Smyrna. Make this store over please!!!!
Good store. Needs a remodel
I came around 3am and the doors are locked. I called the store number to hear hours just Incase google was wrong and I noticed the 24hr sign on the building is missing. The phone recorded line say 24hrs so I’m confused. 🤔😑
One of the better Krogers in the Nashville area.
Love this store the employees are amazing
The only reason it got 4 stars was the employees but the store is out dated the newer one in smyrna is nicer
This Kroger was, as I expected, filthy. When I went to use the restroom, I discovered that I would be sharing the meager, dingy accommodations with several flies. Gross. That many flies usually means that they have a place to breed and lay eggs that hasnt been properly cleaned and sanitized. If you have a choice of grocery stores, choose one without flies.
Mediocre compared to other Krogers. What is missing is a sense of pride for their work.
It is always treat me great
Solid grocery store with a lot of selection. The wine area also has a chiller to make your wine ice cold in just 7 minutes!
