LaVergne Beverage Depot is nearly a one stop shop place. You can get near everything without the big stores. Prices are great! Selection, almost endless. Theyre always kind, professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, and l believe, an owner, personally delivered to me! OWNER! Selections, brands, from low to high end at the best prices. If youre looking for something they dont have, just tell them. Theyll get it, just for you!

Had a friend move to Antioch recently, so every time we get together, I visit La Vergne Bev Depot. As far as selling liquor, its been a great experience.The last time I visited, we were making cocktails, and one of the reps there said they were out of metal shakers, and that they had these plastic cocktail shakers instead. He pointed them out, sold me on them, and I went about my merry way back to my friends, to make cocktails for the evening.On the first drink, the plastic shaker cup broke and exploded in my hands, spilling bourbon and sugary mix all over the kitchen. Apparently this cup was total junk, and cant actually be used as a shaker (the ice broke the bottom out on the first shake).I took my receipt, my packaging, and my broken cup back to the store a few days later, to explain what happened and ask for my $5-$10 dollars back (I had purchased a few other items that we used/kept). Unfortunately, the same rep that sold me the cup was the one that was totally unhelpful on my return trip. He said that, its a loss to store, and that he cant do anything about it - that because they cant claim it on warranty or loss on their end, that they cant replace or refund me.Wow. I dont live in Nashville, but Ive been to this store 2-4 times, spending over $150 up to this point. This cup is total junk, and likely cost the store $0.30. Its stocked by the store, sold to me personally by a rep, and when I asked for help, the rep told me it was my problem, even though I used the cup properly, I brought everything back, etc.Eventually, I was able to talk the rep into some sense of understanding, and he very reluctantly gave me a store credit, which I turned around and spent on another bottle of $40 whiskey (so I just gave the store more money).Overall an uncomfortable and odd experience. Is the $0.30 loss on the cup really worth stiffing a paying customer? Do you really want to stock trash materials? Just a tremendously odd awkward experience, standing in the middle of the store with my broken cup and having the rep say Yeaaa...nothing I can do for you, not my fault.Fine place to shop, but likely wont return because this experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

LVBD was very busy tonight. Even though there was a lot of customers, the LVBD staff was plentiful and ready to assist.

One stop shop for me. Can get beer and cigarettes for my husband and also a 2 liter soda for me. They also have liquor and lottery scratch offs for other peoples needs. Very friendly staff. Also, occasionally, there is a lady that does liquor taste tests.

Stopped in for some flavored whiskey after a long week at work, and the lady working made a suggestion that I try old Smokies whiskey...now they are already famous for moonshine, and I take a trip to Gatlinburg at least once a year, so I was definitely intrigued to try it. First I was sold on the price about $18 a bottle, but then she let me know that she had a couple bottles available for tasting. She went out of her way to find an option for me, then made sure I liked it before completing my purchase... Now Ive been to this liquor store before out of convenience, but now I will go out of my way to come back here consistently. Price, selection and service...I am happy customer

Theres always 4-5 ppl working there, and theyre always super friendly and helpful. If you need a suggestion on what to get, they always know what theyre talking about.Since the recent renovation, its spacious and theres a fairly large selection. Also, the prices are a couple bucks lower on everything, compared to the other big liquor store further down towards Smyrna.
