I have frequented the La Vista, NE Dollar Tree for years predominantly for cheap craft & party supplies, decorations, gift bags etc., and have found my shopping experience to be quite satisfactory. Over the past 12-18 months (before Covid-19) however, I have needed to get more supplies than usual due to projects, weddings and milestone birthdays, and each time I have visited the store it has been a MOST UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE!!!The store is ABSOLUTELY FILTHY, disorganized and understaffed. Each visit is worse than the time before which means no cleaning, tidying or organization has been done in between visits to the store that are months apart.I swore the next time I visited the store, I would turn around and drive 2x the distance to another Dollar Tree if they were still in the same or worse condition. I would also post a review of my experience in this store.Sure enough, the situation is unchanged and in fact, looks worse. Clearly the owner/management and staff of this store have absolutely no standards or pride in their business and jobs. Certainly it is easy and ones choice to overlook the mess and filth in the store and for convenience sake, just to run in and grab the $1 item/s you need. I am certainly guilty of doing that. I do wish I had the presence of mind to take photos on this last visit.However for myself personally, I will no longer buy at the La Vista Dollar Tree until they, quite literally, clean up their act. If customers continue to ignore the situation, it perpetuates the dont care attitude of the store management and staff. Businesses owe it to customers who frequent and spend money at their establishments to, at the very least, attempt to make it a pleasant experience. Start by cleaning your store!!!

Shelves were empty. Only 2 checkers and lined up 4 deep. No carts.

To the lady employee that was working this evening with the long brown hair in a ponytail running around throwing and slamming things while cussing and fussing loudly trying to clean up... Please understand everywhere is short handed NO ONE wants to work at this moment!!! Im sure the children in the store enjoyed overhearing your rant... Please understand that the customers understand your frustration especially the ones who work in retail who are also very very overworked and exhausted... Hopefully things will get better!!! But please think before you choose to show your frustration especially while you are on your job...

I asked an older white lady working the cashier about blowing up balloons. She stated, “The person is not here, you have to pick from what’s already blown up.” Another white lady walked up and asked her, she went and knocked on the door behind the balloons and got the other store associate. I told the store associate that the cashier told me no one was here to assist me. The lady stated everyone is trained to blow up balloons. Why was she so eager to help the white woman but not the black woman? The old white lady showed blatant discrimination because of my race.

There is no better place to buy for the money it should really be called the honest dollar tree for there is no greed to be found and the only one that provides for people barely getting by praise God from the bottom of my heart thank you Dollar Tree for your respect and love for all and yes you definitely have my respect and love for providing what others do not

The staff are extremely friendly and seem to constantly keep themselves busy by cleaning and stocking shelves.

I LOVE the Dollar Tree!!! Every single thing is $1.00 (or at least never more than that). Every year can go for every holiday to purchase decorations and not spend a million bucks. Plus they have school supplies, greeting cards, toiletries, $1.00 gift bags of all sizes, helium balloons, food products, etc. The ones that I go to do not have cold grocery items ... but Ive heard some do.

Pretty much hit or miss here store is always filthy and unorganized . Probably one worst stores out there. Only thing is the employees always super friendly and helpful so I am not sure where the problem lies.

Tried to come here to give themy business but apparently their hiring methods are so terrible they had to close early because they didnt have any staff.Higher pay and giving full time hours should fix that. But greed trickles down I guess.

This place was very clean and organized. They had a lot of products that other dollar trees dont have. The employees were nice and helpful.

I love dollar tree because everything is literally a dollar they have arts and crafts supplies they have tools they have food they have juices sodas they have toiletries makeup batteries electronics face small electronics like phone related things cases and lights and things like that candy balloons I mean they have just a wide range of everything.. medicine all a dollar

I been shopping here since 2003 its one of my favorite Dollar Trees I would definitely recommend them update the carpet and the dated ceiling panels and remodel the restrooms

Dollar tree has everything for a dollar! 1 dollar! you can get everything from toys to party supplies to food.. like come on! its a steal! this particular location has the nicest employees and the best selection of goods. The prices are out of this world and the store is so clean and organized. Highly recommend for craft supplies too!

I have a love hate relationship with this particular store. Most of the time when I go there it’s messy and disorganized. The time before last it smelled like it flooded and the carpets didn’t get cleaned.This last time however it looked amazing! Everything was stocked. The employees were all friendly and there were lots of them. It was cleaned up and smelled nice and it was just a 100% change from before. I’m really excited to see the changes.

The prices are great . one dollar for everything. The products are good. Sometimes you find unbelievable deals. But you must rememberthat the products on the shelves on always the same products that are there so if you find something you really like you should pick up three or four at a time at a dollar each you cant go wrong the people that work there are really nice . I like them all. I go there a lot so they know me by name the only problem is standing in line sometimes you have to wait a while because youll have only one at the counter but she gets backed up other than that Id say its a great bargain place. and they have all sorts of things . you can get like aspirin and you can get dishes that everything you can think of is there .around Christmas time Thanksgiving holidays and and birthday parties its a great place to shop.

I Love dollar tree for the few things I buy there. Dont buy Bobby pins here lol. I do buy the brand name laundry soap and scented chips for laundry. Trash bags. Birthday cards and bags etc.. Super glue duct tape.. Some foods.. Rubbermaid and the like. Cant go wrong for 1.00 oh and dont forget... Helium balloons!

I know on some the the quailty might not be the same but most stuff is. You can tons of money by buying all the little stuff, floss, sponges, aluminum foil etc. It is amazing how many things they have that you spend thousands at other stores. Great craft supplies for kids and cheap phone chargers, headphones, dog toys etc. I love this place just get over yourself if you think you are too good. If you want to waste money throw it my way I always need it .

I can hardly understand why people come here. The store is a disaster zone. The carpets look to have years of unvacuumed trash and there are so many things masquerading as a deal. My wife is a teacher who is able to find a few good things for her classroom, but many of the food products that families purchase here are far more expensive than they would be at a normal grocery store.

Theyre always closing early

Seriously cant believe how much stuff is in here. Only one or two random items that you know you can get at a better price at Walmart for example, but the vast majority of this is crazy. Its actually mostly of very decent quality, which is also shocking. Would not have expected this from a dollar store. Then even beyond the insane amount of variety and surprisingly high-quality items, the people working here are actually incredibly nice. Super nice guy working here, and he actually comes around and asks if youre finding what you need or could use any help. Also would not normally expect that. Oh, and batteries!!! You can get AA or AAA batteries insanely inexpensively. Really pleasantly surprised :-)

We stopped to buy some candy. The building was bigger than most dollar tree. But it was a total mess like most of them. They need to hire someone to do stocking. Only had two workers so no way to get the place looking ready to sell. We still shop there nut cant find things easy because of the mess. I do understand the staff being rude, as I would be too, having to work Sunday night.

Was staying at a hotel 10 minutes away, needed a few things and I like the frozen/refrigerated food section at Dollar Tree. Im not from the area and I guess I should have called first... instead I looked at the pictures and Google reviews. It appeared to have a fridge section in the pics by owner. It did not. An employee (I think his name was Andrew) was super helpful and tried to give me directions to another store that possibly had a fridge section. It was too far so I didnt bother. The only reason Im even giving 2 stars was because of the helpful staff.The store was a mess. Just a filthy floor and disarray. Pretty disgusting. Dont trust the photos, they seem to be stock pics used for whatever location.

Just a poorly organized store. It is always a mess inside, and they are always big empty spots. The staff isnt the greatest. Sometimes I feel like a burden as a customer when I try to check out. I mean I like that the products are fairly consistent but this store needs some improvement.

This place is good, if you like everything from China, and that surrounding area. From food and the cleaners, toys, and even pregnancy tests, I dont think most of their products should be fully trusted. The batteries are complete crap. A lot of the store is actually crap, but you can find some neat things, even some deals. The employees dont seem to really care about the place, and I can see why.

Everything is a dollar. This is especially true for necessities and event items like crossword puzzles, classroom teachers aid and more. This is a no frills place, but everything is a dollar.

I stopped at two Dollars Trees today. The one in Lavista and the one in Papillion. I was looking for Halloween decorations and found the one in Papillion was almost out but the one in Lavista had a pretty big selection yet (on Oct 28th). I am assuming the one in Papillion sells our faster. They were both well stocked with Christmas and quite a lot of Thanksgiving decor. Lots of Birthday decor available at both.

Came into the store looking for a bottle of RIT dye, but they do not stock it, thus the 4 star rating. Store had plenty of friendly checkers and a multitude of other products, just not what I needed today.

Love Dollar tree especially for party supplies and balloons.

This location is disappointing. It always looks like a tornado has blown through. They seem to always be understaffed. Some of the staff they do have seem to hate life.

This place is a joke,dont go to this one,my wife and handicapped mother in law waited in line for awhile to get told to go to another line because they let someone run out to there car to get money,so they waited 15 minutes in the other line to get told they need to go back to the other line because the lady was done all of the sudden,also they were the last ones in that line too so she couldnt take the time to do one more person,screw that lady and screw this store
