Honestly, Olympic Cards & Comics is one of the best places to go for any of your nerdy needs. They have a large selection of table-top games, figurines, statuettes, comics, trading cards, board games and much much more! Also they have a game room upstairs typically reserved for Magic: The Gathering events but Id say to ask if its open for more than just Magic. If you or a loved one are in the market for anything pop-culture, this is definitely the place to look!

This place has anything you would need for many different types of gaming, all sorts of different comics, and theyre happy to order something for you if they dont have it. It feels like a family even from the first time you walk in. Gabi is a pillar of the community, donates food, haircuts, and school supplies to anyone who needs them, and does everything she can to make the store welcoming and accessible to everyone. This store is amazing, Gabi and all the employees are amazing, and you should absolutely shop here.

I have lived in Olympia for 5 years already, but I just know about this store. The place have good environment which is selling cool stuffs, especially trading card games. The staffs are very friendly and helpful, always help the customers. Willing to visit again soon.

Went in to have my Pokémon collection appraised, at the time I didn’t know what I had and I think they knew that. Told me I’d be lucky to get $400 for the entire collection. I then did my own research and looked up market value of every card. I recently sold 3 cards for $600. It’s a good thing I didn’t listen to them. All I have to say is they are uneducated on the Pokémon market right now. I also looked at the reviews recently and felt the same as other customers, I felt unappreciated.Do your own research before asking them.

Have you met Gabi? She and her staff are some of the best in the area. Not only do they know anything and everything about all games and Pops and comics but they are experts on helping you discover new interests.Years ago Gabi took time out of her day to help me make a custom pregnancy announcement for my husband. Our hearts are still grateful for her helping like she did.They also have an assistance programs for families who need help, and when the pandemic hit they rolled up their sleeves and dived in to help the community.If you have a love of all things geek related, pop on by. You wont be disappointed.

Gabi and her team are something special. Flexible, friendly, passionate people work here. One team member (Im sorry I didnt get her name) knew where my comics on hold were located when she overheard my name. Then she immediately mentioned to me that there was a one-off comic for my beloved Alien series that Id not otherwise ever have known about and she walked over and grabbed a copy for me when I expressed interest (Thank you! I hope you know who you are; tell Gabi Im referring to you and that youre awesome).My toddler loves this place. I appreciate the care these people take in what they do. My wife trusts Gabi for recommendations bought blind. There are some rough edges as new hires come up to speed, but Olympic Cards and Comics takes great care in customer experience. Its one of few businesses I feel relieved to enter. Many thanks to Gabi and her team for consistent, care-driven service.

The employees are always great and will tell you how to find what you are looking for. The supply is ever changing, but they try and keep fan favorites in stock. One of my favorite places to go!

Wow this place is incredible!! Definitely the best comic shop Ive been to ever. They have everything you could dream of for all your nerdy needs, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, they seem to especially have more female staff than most shops as well as promoting comics and stuff for young girls which is honestly awesome and impressed me and my best friend (both of us women) and put us more at ease while browsing and checking out. Plus they had a Boys and Girls Club in while we were there and I think its really great to see a comic shop doing community outreach. Envi greeted us at the door when we came in/gave us our raffle tickets for wearing masks and checked us out and they were super kind and welcoming especially once they found out we were new to the area, it was very sweet. Cant wait to go back and bring all our equally nerdy friends with us.

My niece is turning 13 and requested anime. Now, I’m 32 and anime has never been my thing. I know nothing, I mean besides Pokémon and dragon ball Z. Which shows my knowledge.. anyways. I walked into the store and was greeted and explained my situation. The lady introduced me to a woman named Alison. She was wonderful! She didn’t judge me, which was appreciated, they were extremely hands-on, ran around looking for different things to help me make a decision. It was amazing customer service! 1st time visiting. The staff was very friendly and always asking if you need any assistance. Clean environment and practicing social distancing. My daughter had a great time and she enjoyed her visit. I would return to this location in the future.

The selection here is nuts! I get sucked in every time I visit and could lose hours, maybe days if it were not for someone Im with making me leave. I recommend visiting with someone who can pull you out eventually, or you might never leave.

Meals were yummy. Just wish there was more of the food. Food was more pretty looking but great customer service is what made it a good experience. very clean.

Place is huge!! They have so much, basically the entire games workshop store is in stock when I vent. Tons of magic as well. Everything is normal priced - a little bit more expensive. But its worth it to end the shopping. They have it.

Every time we visit I give them ALL my money!

I recently visited the store and I was really impressed with their inventory of comic books etc. I have to admit that there were some aspects that were not so impressive. In the back they have boxes and boxes of comics, however they are poorly labeled and crammed so tightly that I was afraid to go through them, worried that I would damage them. They do not have anywhere to safely put the boxes and thus look through them. I asked an employee how they were priced and she said that you have to bring them up to the cashier and get priced there. Also many of the comic books were not bagged and boarded, so they were vulnerable to tears and bending.Like I said the quantity of comic books was immense, but the ease of discovery was disappointing. The fact that the boxes were crammed so tightly makes me wonder about their interest or love of comic books, just saying.

This place does not keep their comics organized, and everything is just crammed in boxes with no bags or boards. If you do manage to find anything forth while, expect to have everything repriced at the register for your trouble. Also, expect the prices to be checked and rechecked if they swap out employees on you which is likely to happen. Seriously, this place can rot.PS If you want to make a run on this shop, then only look for things that have spiked in price and dropped. You are welcome.To the shop owner, you ran off a customer who was holding $80 in board games over a few bucks on comics.

Ive been going to (Gabis) Olympic Cards & Comics for almost 10 years now and cant find a single negative moment Ive experienced after walking through those doors. The staff will always do their best to personally greet you and make you feel a part of the family that Gabi has created. Will continue to come here (at least once a week) for the foreseeable future. Have had a decent experience with the night crew, called today to ask about the stock of cards. While I was being assisted by someone on the phone on of his co workers was in the background laughing at the fact their was little to none left and that it wouldn’t be there when I got in, dude on the phone was pleasant. The other gentleman, I hope he learns better manners.

Absolutely beautiful! This whole shop is fascinating and well put together. Despite not finding either item I was searching for, I found about 5 other things that I bought anyway. My only issue at all there was that a locked up statuette I loved didnt have a price tag, but that wouldnt be a problem if I could remember how to ask for help. On another note, the staff are pleasant and nice, even if you make ditzy bimbo comments like me.

Nice, clean and helpful. A bubbly woman named Sasha helped me find the game I was looking for and when she didnt know about an older comic I was looking for she pleasantly introduced me to a kind man named Warren who knew exactly what I was talking about. The staff here really makes it well worth the extra drive to spend my money here.

I got my first set of metal dice here! I look forward to starting my mini colection here too. Very nice selection of dice in a range of prices, as well as lots of figurines, comics, and paints!

Alison with one L was fantastic and very patient today as my gf and I looked through key issues. Gabis is always welcoming and friendly. There are plenty of staff who always makes sure youre attended to. Gabi is never too busy to stop and chat. They are also dog friendly, and the bag and board new comics after purchase. Something alot of other shops dont do.

This place is huge! Lots of comics of course, the figures in the cases were super cool to look at, pokemon, magic, and Yu-Gi-Oh cards too! staff in every single area asking if we were doing ok it seemed. Being from out of town, my wife and I dont mind being asked multiple times, as we might have a question 30 seconds later on something we saw. I really appreciated the multiple areas to checkout. I bought some Pokemon cards and we enjoyed visiting!

The customer service here is just fantastic! They have been so helpful to my husband everytime he checks in about Pokemon cards. They also have a huge selection of games and books. Weve gotten a few superhero kids books that we read every night to our kiddo. I love coming here and have been telling all of our friends and family to come. It is a hidden gem of Olympia!

Gabi and her staff are truly one of the blessings Olympia has to offer. Her contribution to the community and those in need over the past decade, even longer has incredible. A safe place for any student, adult or kiddo to feel comfortable in, regardless of their lifestyle. Snacks and drinks and all kinds of games soooooo many you can’t even imagine. You could spend hours here and still look through stuff.

I went there for the first time yesterday 1/30/21. What can I say... I’m impressed. Olympic cards and comics, you have peaked my interest!!! I’ve never been one who has been into comics but I’ve recently have the desire to get into comic books for a variety of reasons and in all honesty, idk what other shops are like but this one HAS to be up there as one of the best around this area. Greeted at the door by the owner Gabi and she was an amazing help! I told her it was my first time in and she immediately set me up with someone(who I already forgot the name but it started with an L, sorry:/) and he was an awesome help in explaining every little detail, giving me suggestions and showing me around the store. Everybody on the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and I will DEFINITELY be going back to continue my new comic book collection. BEST PART- with me being new they didn’t look at me like I was crazy asking a bunch of questions, they actually wanted to hear these questions and give their best input. Olympic cards and comics is amazing! Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a collectors shop!!!

We went to trade in some cards, at first everyone was great, we looked around and didnt know what to do and went back to the mtg counter, the guy sorting cards the counter made me feel a bit awkward like he was annoyed (sorry) but the girl was fairly helpful, we traded for store credit towards a booster box mtg. Didnt expect the regular one to be yellow tagged, but we payed for the other booster box for more money it was decent. (However someone that didnt have the extra money wouldnt have been able to get a whole booster box, just a warning it is more expensive because they gotta pay for the building yall.) Overall it was alright, just a lot of ppl as well.

This is a wonderful place full of kind helpful employees and everything my little nerd heart could want. Pre-COVID I have done MTG prerelease events and other tournaments there. I felt completely welcomed and accepted as a woman that doesnt fit the nerd or geek look. Gabi and her staff dont tolerate any gate keeping and makes sure others follow suit. The whole staff is also very conscious of respect and inclusiveness for all. They have a huge selection and I find something new every time I go in.

Ive only been in a couple of times in the past but todays experience will likely be the last. I came in to look for a gift with my son and was not greeted by a hello or anything. Just a bold Do you have your mask? by a woman walking straight to 2 feet in front of me, then trying to force me to use their hand sanitizer (I have no issues with masks or hand sanitizer, but the approach was rude). After she wanted to know what I was looking for, we were lead to a guy at the trading cards. After we picked what we wanted, he walked us directly up to the front to ring us up. Forget that we would have liked to look around at other things. I felt rushed and extremely unvalued as a customer.

Legitimately one of the best comic/game/nerdtopia I have ever been to! Memorabilia ranges from superhero statues to pop figures. The people who work here truly know their stuff and make shopping there an absolute pleasure. If you get a chance or need anything for a game night or need a good comic this is the place to go!

Absolutely in love! I wish there was a few different mangas but we went there to look at the board games. Found Catan expansions and then found starfarers Catan..... Oooooooooo we definitely bought it no question. A lot more different than regular Catan! ALSO EVERYONE that works there is super awesome and friendly. Very helpful thank you guys for existing!

Hands down the best cic and game store around. I love the owner she is welcoming and remembers you. I have gotten several of my figures from there. In addition the selection of things is beyond any other store from Tigard OR all the way to Canada.

Went there today for the first time with my daughter. We were greeted at the door by Gabi herself. We were greeted inside by Nick and many other great employees. The control and care given to ensure all current restrictions are being followed were spot on. I highly recommend shopping here!
