Since I dont have enough money to put a new house on my property at Ocean Shores it was over$65.000 just to clear it and get all permits counting the cost of the lot I was already at $120.000. Which didnt leave me much and they went above and beyond trying to find something I could afford which was nothing and since Im on S.S. Disability that was nothing, So just when I was about to list my property months later I got a call from Clayton asking if I would be interested in a used trade in thats all they knew at the time so I said Sure and went to look at it today I was a little shocked by the year and the condition everything worked on it plumbing, electric everything but the roof needs a patch job over the back door and utility room, insulation underneath it needs, screens and some windows, all appliances except for refrigerator and thats including bathtubs and vanities and toilets and tile in the bathrooms. So big question I have until Monday to tell them can I do it painting yes I can do but the rest sure I could go pick out the stuff I want at Home Depot or the Auction house but not a clue on putting it in any of it. Im pretty sure money wise I can swing it as long as I can find a reasonable person to do it. So since these are maybe once a year to every two years.
Nice and easy to get too. Sarah was very friendly helpful and gave us some basics for getting a build in Kitsap county and that was very helpful. We look forward to using Clayton Homes in the near future!
Homes are nice and pretty well built. Not enough employees. When we went there was one gentleman there and he said heres the key, just lock it when your done looking, and if you have any questions, (as he is looking around) someone will be here to answer them meaming not him. As I was going back inside to turn the key in, both him and another guy was on the phone, so I walked back and gave the same guy that handed me the key, back to him as he was on the phone. I used the facilities and waited for one if them to come out so I could ask a question. They never acknowledge my presence, so we left. No questions answered. But, its ok, I will call them later. Not that big of a deal to me. Overall, will we go back? Yes if we choose that one mobilehome. The stars are not for the mobilehomes as they are very nice, its for the service.
Said they did land home packages deals on the phone set up apps and drove all the way out there to find out all there homes are way over priced I know the market is high but mobile homes dont increase in value and then come to find out they dont sell land just homes .
The houses were nice but there werent enough staff members to help us. So we left and went somewhere else.
My mother-in-law and I were going around to nearby manufactured homes places to figure out how to get started on the process. My husband and I own a stick built, and werent sure how to get started on the buying land and a home proces. The first place we looked at refused to tell us anything about the process until we owned land. Lorenzo at Clayton Homes was very thorough in explaining the process to us, including where to begin. We are now financing through them having decided on a house, and are looking for land. We will be recommending them whenever possible.
The selection was ok, and the prices seemed fair, as long as the porches are included, because nothing in the house was like WOW. Any of that is what you have to upgrade during the design interview. They origionally come with that all white bathroom look very apartment looking. the sizes and layouts were nice. There was one that had a really cute little hall way with the bedrooms and bathrooms. I liked it a lot. Have not purchased from them.
Very impressed by the style, build and layout of these homes. 95% of these took my breath away. The features, ideas and thought put into these homes are just jaw dropping. Compare them to a house and its almost a no brainer for me. When I inquired about certain models to show the man the sales guy wasnt pushy at all. Gave me what I asked for and understood I was just looking for ideas and pricing as we are still a year out and working on bills, credit and location.
Nice place with nice homes... Sales people are very helpful... Little high priced.
This place is one hell of a joke. I walked in there looking for guidance as I am a first time buyer and all I got was a map of the place and then shoved out the door and was told to go look at the houses myself and come back when I find one I liked. They pretty much just looked at me like I was some kid just messing around and trying to waste their time. Y’all lost out on a sale and based off of the reviews I’ve just read I’m DEFINITELY NOT buying from them now.
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff
Very polite and knowledgable staff. The homes are built well and easy to tour
Very friendly staff. My 2 year old accidentally broke one of the coffee table decorations in one of the show rooms and the staff were extremely nice about it and told us not to worry about it. Also, awesome display homes.
Take care of grounds, but if you need a home, these are the professional, nice, people.
Will be coming back in the future! Very happy with this lot.
Very friendly and willing to help in any way needed. DERRICK Rock is who we have been talking with. A great guy really interested in helping in any way.
Excellent, for a sales team. Not pushy, good knowledge of product and peripherals, great people to work with. There product is superior, so there not really cheap.
We recently bought a home from them. It seemed like they were eager to help. It was all just to get our money. Then they forget about you. The quality and craftmanship of the work was horrible. And also now that its time for them to fix the settling they are not calling me back. Just putting my experience out there but next time I would pay for the better quality. And as you can read In a review that Derek Rock is actually an employee of Clayton Homes. So if he posted a false review just to boost the stars. Then how many other fake reviews are there? Also notice that some of the good reviews have also never made an actual purchase from Clayton homes. Seems kinda shady. And as to your response. Its funny that is the exact number I called 3 times before and and was told someone would get back with me. And here I sit.And all the reviews saying how nice and polite everyone is. They were like that for me also until they get the money. Then they just try and forget about all the promises they made before the sale. So make sure its all in writing and you get copies.
They know their stuff.
Love these homes...soo beautiful
Love dreaming here with lots of great living options
I wish I could give negative stars, if I could It would be a minus 5 stars. Through the entire process I was lied to by Trevor and Glenn Rossi. I was told that this was going to be a simple process, that it would only be 8 to 12 weeks before I had a home on the ground and because I was paying cash this would take the loan officer out of the process. Long story short in February 5th 2016 it will be a year since I gave Trevor the first $500.00 dollars to secure the price on the home. He told me that he would send out a contractor to do a bid and site walk. Two months passed no contractor, I had to call Trevor to get a contractor out to my property. First two were a joke finally the third contractor good deal, with a good bid. Mind you I am doing most of the site prep my self. So I went in the 7th of September 2016 signed the home contract and on their request gave them another $500.00 Trevor told me that this would get the home build started and that it only takes three weeks to build a home in the factory. But it had to be put into the production line and thats what this contract and $500 would do. November 9th 2016 I sit down with Trevor and Glenn at Clayton Homes to give them 1/2 of the money for the home and so they can get a color copy of my ID card. I inquire how long before my home is done Trevor told me that Clayton Homes needed 1/2 down when it was half way through the build. So my estimated time off line should be November 30th. Trevor tells me oh its not showing on my computer Ill go call and we will see. 5 minutes later he comes back and tells me looks like the middle of December. Ill check and speak with the factory and see what can be done, and get a better timeline. two days go by I get a call from Glenn Hey, not the best news, looks like your home wont be in the finish build till end of January 2017! I tell Glenn this will not do you have to do better than that. A call a week later well we got it moved up to January 15th 2017 will be its off line date. Not the date it will be at my property but when they expect to finish the build. Then Im told they will want me to give them the balance of the home before it will be delivered to my property. So Im into this home for $58.000 to this point and I am supposed to hand them another $58.000 before the home ever leaves the factory? How can I in good faith hand this company another $58.000 dollars, and expect them to hand me a set of keys to a home that is delivered, setup correctly, and livable when they would have every bit of the money for the home. The reason they gave me for needing the home paid off before they deliver is because they are concerned that once the home is delivered to the property that they are going to be locked out of the property by some imaginary gate and I wont pay them. Oh and lets not forget that once the Contract was signed in September Trevor added a two line draft of paper to it on November 9th saying that I agree to pay him the remaining balance before the home is delivered. with three lines scribbled in blue ink on it sign here. with no notary on site or anything, so he has now amended my contract that was notarized. in September. If you walk in to a Clayton Homes and Glenn or Trevor stick their hand out and introduce them selves Run like Hell and dont look back. If anything improves I will amend the review till then, I would not recommend doing business with Clayton Homes Manufacturing.
Salesman Clayton was informative and patient with our questions.
Great homes need to upgrade finishes
