Contacted Giles about an F-150 that I was very interested in purchasing. I emailed the salesman Tyler. I explained that I was looking at another truck that was comparable but was 3-4 thousand cheaper and if he can show me the difference. Then Marcus Guilbeau, the sales manager sent me an email asking how he could help. I explained the same situation and he asked me to send the comparable to him, which I quickly did. He never got back with me. I then sent a follow-up email to ask if he wanted to discuss anything or why he wanted me to send the comparable. Nothing. I waited a few days. Nothing. I then went back on the site to see that not only did he never get back in touch with me, he jacked the price up on the F150 another 2-3 K. Cool, if that is how you do business. Just dont have me waste my time sending you info if you have no desire to do business. A courtesy follow-up would have worked so I could have moved on.
I would give a zero if possible. My wife recently ordered a vehicle through Subaru and it was delivered to Giles Subaru in Lafayette, Louisiana. However, the dealership literally had her in tears. She was basically held hostage in the dealership for three hours! They would not let her pay for her vehicle and leave. She met with the salesman as well as the sales manager who aggressively continued to pressure her to buy packages and warranties she did not want. They would not release the vehicle! After three hours of being subjected to this, she started crying and walked out. Only at that point did they say they would take her payment and let her leave.
Personable service by Troy. Saw my wiper blades needed replacing, which they were and handled it under warranty. Timely service and thorough explanation of work done as I have come to expect.Picked up two sweet Subaru accessories for us and the pooch. Always have neat little nicknacks for free.
Lane at Giles gave us the best experience we have had and was able to get us exactly what we wanted despite how hard vehicles are to come by now. We cant express enough how easy he made the whole process for us and how happy we are that we made the drive from Baton Rouge to go see him.

We love our IMPREZA Sedan.SERVICE DEPARTMENTFirst thing this morning i took my car in to the #GilesSubaru dealership for an oil change, tire rotation and a computer check up.The service manager was nice. After about forty minutes he comes out to the lobby and says, “your battery is bad, you need new wipers, your brake fluid system needs to be flushed out” He also shared that i needed a new cabin filter(i had the cabin filter changed a short time ago) and engine filter.I said ok, paid for my oil change, they had not rotated my tires for some reason, thanked the man and left…I got in my car and drove straight to O’Reily auto parts store. I explained that i was getting ready to go on a road trip and would like to make sure my battery was ok. His name was Victor, he grabbed the computer and we went outside to check my battery. Yep you probably guessed it, the battery was fine. Victor took a look at my wipers too, they were in good shape.I will have my Brakes System flush elsewhere.BUYER BEWARE- get a second opinion.

Purchasing my first Subaru from Giles Subaru was the absolute best vehicle buying experience I have had. My new Nissan Altima was totaled. My daughter in law suggested looking at Subaru because of the safety ratings. When I called Giles Subaru, Arthur Delhomme answered for sales. The period between my Altima being totaled and purchasing a Subaru was stressful to say the least. Arthur was very knowledgeable and professional. We had several phone calls leading up to the day of purchase since I would be coming in from out of town. Arthur put my mind at ease every time we spoke and he took alot of time to help me get into the perfect Subaru. He really listened to what I wanted and needed for my German Shepherds to ride safely and comfortable as well. (Check out Subarus per accessories). Giles Subaru Parts Department… I ordered parts for my Subaru nearly two weeks ago. I was told they would be shipped to me (because I live 2 hours away) on Tuesday, June 1st. On Friday, June 4th, I called and they said they had received them, but hadn’t shipped them yet. I was told they would ship them on Monday, June 7th, “first thing.” Today, June 9th, I called again and I was told “they shipped this morning.”This is par for the course concerning Giles Subaru SALES, SERVICE and PARTS. I have had countless experiences where the customer service was not just lacking some… in my opinion, customer service IS NOT at the forefront of this companies business model.There has to be a change is management or something. I need to have my 2020 Subaru Forester serviced again and I don’t trust them to take it there. I will end up driving more than 2 hours away just to get trustworthy service. I am sick of the poor quality service.I will be calling Subaru corporate to file a complaint. I have kept my records, texts, etc. Hopefully, for everyone else that wanders in there, changes will be made and you will be served well.

Ive bought 7 vehicles so far in my life and this was the worst experience of all. Not because they were rude but I felt like they ignored me and just flat out didnt listen to what I wanted. I sent an offer on a vehicle on their website, they send back two vehicles that werent the same as I was looking for in a timely manner. After I told him (Lane) that those werent the vehicles I requested, I had enough time to go to Houston, buy the vehicle I wanted with no haggle, drive to Biloxi to spend the weekend with my family and come back to work at the beginning of the week before he replied again letting me know that he doesnt have the vehicle I want. Why was it on your website then? And why so long to let me know that? Based on this I wont be servicing my Subaru here and after seeing some of the reviews I dont think Ill be missing much.
Our visit to Giles Subaru was soul crushing and honestly left me in tears. I’m fairly certain I’ve never written a negative review before, but this seemed necessary. It wasn’t about the “deal” we were offered, which we might have taken if it didn’t feel pressured and dismissed. We were told this deal “was only for tonight” at 6:30ish and they closed at 7pm. We stated as soon as we sat down that we did not want to make any decisions tonight and that we wanted to have time to think about it. Rosalyn was abrupt, claiming she was not a pressuring sales person (but was), and rude. Pointing out her awards, saying she wouldn’t have them for no reason. Those accolades don’t matter to me, what is important is someone who is genuine and willing to listen AND MAYBE OFFERS A TEST DRIVE TO SEE IF I EVEN LIKE SUBARUS. Two men in suits, who never introduced themselves, checked out my current car (randomly during our visit)...I have no idea who those two people were, we were just asked by Rosalyn to give her our keys (another stupid mistake). I was never offered to test drive a vehicle. I signed two papers (stupidly) and she asked for my current registration, which I never gave. They were attempting to put me in a lease due to a 610+ credit score, which is fine...but why wouldn’t I be offered a test drive for a vehicle I have never driven before in my life. This whole experience was overwhelming and awful. After reading the reviews, which I should have done my due diligence, I guess Alex is the person I should have chosen to work with from the start. This was hands down the most uncomfortable, overwhelming, pressurized, uninformative and horrible experience I’ve ever encountered at a dealership. If you go here, apparently, for the love of God, ask for Alex like everyone else is saying.

First experience with buying a new car. I like my car and I got a good deal. But I definitely wont do business with that specific salesman (Alex) again. The service department deserves 5 stars. But there is just no after sales help from the salesman who earned commission from you. When I had questions after the sale, he let them go unanswered and the experience just wasnt very pleasant. Bob giles was quick to pick up where his salesmen left off though. I just wish the salesmen would have the courtesy to check in after the sale atleast. But it just shows that I am just commission to them. It was also annoying dealing with the finance office who tried to only let me get the promotional interest rate if I bought the extended warranty (subaru of america said that wasnt true. Dont fall for this scam. ). Along with all the BS warranties they try to tack on as well
Sales department was great at the time I purchased my vehicle. I Bought a program 2020 Outback with 4000 miles. After a month, the tire light came on. There was a tire leak in the sidewall and they were already telling me I needed to have other service done on this vehicle. I was initially denied a loaner despite having to wait for the new tire to come in. That visit was a terrible experience.Then the second visit was for routine maintenance. I expected complimentary service as stated on the website, but the service advisor told me program vehicles are not included. I then asked the salesperson about this and she stated that she did fail to tell me this. Then while I was in the waiting room, I overheard several calls which the Service advisors told customers they needed extra service for additional charges. One customer needed a belt changed and brakes flushed for over $1000!!! I just dont feel they are trustworthy.
The staff is very accommodating and responsive. I was kept up-to-date on the transit arrival on my new 2020 outback limited xt. The dealership is very clean with water and snacks available. Brady and Rosalyn both helped me obtain my dream ride. I appreciate everything and everyone for helping me!

The first response a lady named Kaylie gave me a price, my response was that I had a better price and was wondering if that was the best they could do. After she said it was pretty much at invoice I let her know I bought elsewhere. She sent me tons of emails that meant nothing instead of answering my questions.

Good experience overall from buying to the maintenance. The only suggestion I have for improvement would be to listen with intent to provide a solution when it comes to concerns about someones vehicle. I had some concerns about a few things I noticed with my 2nd vehicle, sounds it was making, smoke, popping and when I brought it up, they seemed to dismissive to my concerns.

I just bought a Limited XT from Alex, and the entire experience from start to finish was so painless and easy. I spent 20,000 dollars on a car that they didnt bother to clean. i found a caked substance on the gear shift, dust on the carpets, and stains on the seats, and a chicken wing under the seat. a whole chicken wing. they didnt even try to clean it.not only that but when i went to buy the car they added 6,000 dollars worth of insurances and extended warranties without asking me.unfortunately they dont have a return policy so i cant return it but i will not buy a car here again and i will not reccomend this place.
