The store has changed. More more focus on Booze as it is more profit. Meat was lets say not looking well, it is in bags. I do not buy large hunks of beef meat in seal-a-meal type bags like they have out. The new thing in the store is to go to counter to check out and then go back and shop for 10 more items while the cashier waits for person to return to register with that special wine. and the line is stacking up. Very annoying..... More floor space is for booze. Food is good for snacks and special items. point system sucks rocks for groc, If you drink you get mega points if you shop for food very little points. So I am not going back to a liquor store posing as grocery. Get you favorite liquor and snacks thats the store focus. I am done.

This store is open while undergoing renovation / improvements, so if you go in anytime soon, keep that in mind. Items normally very organized are a little scattered, but its all still there. Staff is very helpful if you are trying to locate something.Initial impression is liquor store. Not sure how the store advertises itself, but it is more than that. Great selection of beer, wine, and liquor though.It has a butcher, a selection of grocery items, bar items, and other sundries. Its name Purveyors is probably quite accurate and reminiscent of the days of wagon trains and settling the west given its inventory. Very decent point/loyalty program too.

If they would only sell more food and stop expanding the liquor dept... dont make us go to Whole Foods/Besos.... we lost alpacas sonits a good time to expand your food depts... not shrink!

Really wanted to love this place. It’s so close to my house, I love wine and butcher shops....it definitely fell flat. I walked in and three employees were sitting behind the counter. I said hello and none of them said anything. Went to find a wine. CRAZY overpriced, no deals like Superior Liquor, or even my corner liquor store. Choose a bottle and came to the counter to pay. The old lady with the spray tan and 80’s hair didn’t say a word to me! A completely silent transaction. For the price and the service, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Holy Cow!!! I thought I was walking into another ho-hum liquor store. I didnt expect a high end butcher shop inside!Their liquor selection was amazing. Biggest wall of American Whiskey that I have seen. Different section for the rest of the world. Some fantastic rum selections. Great snacks and groceries.

Atlas Valley Purveyors Store. They have liquor, nice selection of wines and beers from around the world. They also have gourmet cuts of meat, cheese, and novelty sauces. Many unique gifts for you to choose from.

Great place with a great staff. We have recently starting shopping here, and we have been very happy. We have been getting different items from the butcher, and they also have a very nice selections of liquor especially if your looking to try something different. We have fallen in love with their Chicken Cordon Bleu, in fact it was what our 12 year old requested for her Bday dinner.

Good little butcher and a great selection of local beer.

A lot of convenient shops that we visit fairly often. We like the Atlas Valley store a lot; very limited groceries but a nice wine and other liquor selection. Someone is always happy to help. Reelfish makes great fish and chips. Lunada (Mexican) is hot and cold but is never bad, just sometimes not so good. Also, the Brewing Market is great for a cuppa.

They hire idiots. My brothers (21 years of age, and 18 years of age) walked into the store. My oldest brother attempts to buy liquor while my 18 year old brother is holding ice cream. The people at the counter assume that my 21 year old brother will give my other 18 year old brother the liquor. This has happened twice now. They were incredibly rude and even threatened to call the cops. My 18 year old brother had no intent to sell or drink any of the liquor. Awful experience. Hire better people and a manager that actually knows Colorado law.

This is such an amazing store. Not only do they have great gourmet snacks. They have other very cool items for sale. Pendleton towels, blankets and other things from Yosemite national Park. People think this is simply a grocery store or a liquor store. Its far more than that. Also the staff, Kate and Tony are some of the most amazing people Ive come across in the service industry. Love this place and will continue to support their business by shopping here. If you havent been, youre seriously missing out.

Convenience for your next dinner or happy hour gathering. There is a good selection of cheese, nice meat department and produce. Of course there is a good selection of drinks too. The sandwiches are nice and you can fill prescriptions here too. Such a great corner market with one stop shop appeal.

Tall guy that works there is incredibly rude. Called ahead to check if they had something and was told they did and it would be put aside for me. I show up after a 30 minute drive and let them know I was the one that called. Was told that they would grab the things I asked for then the tall guy butted in saying one of the items was locked in the managers office. I asked if there was a way to call the unnamed manager to see if I could purchase. Basically was scoffed at and told that nothing could be done...even though the guy did nothing at all that could be considered customer service in any way. Oh well, they lost a decent sale and a good customer. Maybe theyll fire that guy and he go be angry somewhere else.

Great place! Ive never been to a grocery store in which the owner checks in with their customers to get feedback and thanks them for coming in! They really do care! They have a great selection of niche items and the quality is excellent.

The customer service at this store is pathetic to say the least... disrespectful and uneducated people. Do not go here if you have intentions to buy anything. There are better options with better people. They simply don’t deserve the business. I went in to buy some things with my elder brother and they threatened to call the police. I had no intention to drink and had only brought coke and ice cream to the counter. Truly disappointing as my family has bought from this store for years. I refuse to enter and provide for this store ever again, and I encourage all to do the same.

At the end of the day the inability of the staff to recognize the proper intent of its dedicated customers and instead accuse them of having the intent to buy liquor for minor they should at least remember to not call the cops on children. One cool part is if their pick-a-mixes lack selection just ask and they can open a couple packs under 10.99. Employees professinal, funny and friendly with a touch of wisdom. Selections in wines, beer, liquor is super, but that deli and meat market is superb. Little pricey, but even if you dont buy anything, its worth the visit.

Purveyors has evolved into a store that I patronize four or five times a week. When the store first opened as a liquor store, I thought how great to have a liquor store within walking distance, but soon found myself driving elsewhere when they didnt carry my favorites and prices were somewhat high.They expanded to carry groceries with a pharmacy, deli and sandwich shop, a meat and seafood counter, produce, and specialty kitchen items. We would run over there occasionally for a missing ingredient or something to add to a meal.The store kept evolving and became a place I like to visit. The pharmacy was eliminated rather quickly and I was sad to see the excellent sandwich menu disappear, but they seem to have continued to respond to customers wishes. Pre-made sandwiches and other fresh lunch items are available. We always buy our meats at Purveyors and frequently grab some specialty cheeses or other gourmet items, plus occasional essentials that I could go farther to pay less for, but I feel it is important to invest in a place that responds to the community. They cant compete with the big chains on food anyway, but they are finding their own niche, which I appreciate.The help are that, helpful. Its a team that seems to have little turn over, and has made an effort over time to recognize me as a regular. Im not a fan of loyalty programs, but they type in my name without even asking it and I get about $90 worth of free product a year, so Im OK with playing the game that the public seems to want.I encourage my neighbors to patronize Purveyors so the store continues to be what we want it to be for us. My beer preferences have changed and I buy most of it at Purveyors when its within 10% of nearby competition, but Ill occasionally stock up on a significant sale item elsewhere. Id like to see Purveyors find a way to get that business too, maybe by offering regulars like me, special deals on larger purchases.Id like to recommend the Taleggio Cheese (intense aroma, mild flavor), Finkel and Garf Oatmeal Milk Stout for winter, Oskar Blues Pinner for summer, Tender Belly Habanero Bacon for anytime, fresh ground chuck or the sushi grade tuna. Find your own favorites at Purveyors or suggest something to them.
