Great coffees and espressos, friendly staff, vibrant atmosphere! Recommended!

This place is a great place for hangout, have a good coffee with your companions. Excellent coffee blends, delicious pastry..even though the menu is quite limited but cant complain with the coffee, services, atmosphere. Sitting inside can be limited but in a warm nice day its so amazing if you sit outside. Loved the place and now favorite place to hanging out with friends 😄😄😄

Wonderful atmosphere and the employees were always very nice! My husband and I went every morning while on vacation and the coffee was always good, not bitter. The pastries were also tasty without being too sweet (the blueberry lemon tiny bundt was delicious!!!). Would highly recommend to anyone visiting!

Great local coffee shop. Either location, downtown or River Ranch, is the perfect spot to meet with family, hang with friends, meet for an interview, or go on a date. It’s nice to taste coffee brewed with care instead of what most shops offer, which is mostly burnt coffee to keep things consistent. They also have a small but tasty selection of food. If you’re looking for a younger vibe, check out the downtown location. If you’re into a mature crowd with more outdoor seating, the location at River Ranch is for you.

Great service. Very chill environment and the waitress have me a drink to try based on my likings and it was spot on! Only thing I would recommend is more seating inside. It was cold outside!!

Had heard great things about it but was extremely disappointed. The espresso was extremely sour and acidic and made our cappuccino almost undrinkable. We also ordered a Palm Springs and it may have been one of the worst drinks I had ever had. The barista was very friendly but nice service cannot make up for the fact that we wasted our money on terrible product. Hopefully this was a one-off experience but not in a rush to try it again.

Dropped in this morning for a drip coffee. Was recommended this pumpkin bar. It being Thanksgiving weekend I took the baristas advice. Great piece of pumpkin pie? tart? I dont know exactly, but it reminded me of Thanksgiving, Christmas and home rolled into one dish. Definitely recommend!

The tiniest large iced coffee Ive ever had. Ordered the Nola. It was like a joke when they handed it to me. Pretty decent coffee if the serving size wasnt such a laugh. Pastry case is unimpressive and has only a few options. Place is too big and overblown for what its offering.

Excellent environment and an equally excellent selection of coffee! The coffee is obviously similar to the location in downtown, but the gelato and the pastries definitely make it worth coming by! They have made recent renovations to the seating which broadened their capacity significantly to host more customers.

I work next door and come here almost every day. Always prompt, super friendly, and straight up delicious. I usually go nitro for the boost, but the nola and the pour overs are legit too. Overall best coffee shop Ive been to.

We enjoyed ourselves mightily. After the original owner of The Lab sold it to the local company named Rêve, we were of course a bit concerned. After all, The Lab was not any old coffee shop, but a particular and wonderful place all of its own. The first couple of years after the sale were a little shaky. But they seem to have really gotten their own back now, and from drinks to music, this evening was absolutely great.

Its a nice place to go to on a windy and chilly evening. It has a very calm atmosphere, nice staff, and a simple menu. This is a place thats best enjoyed when youre with a friend or two. Seating inside can sometimes be limited due to there being a lot of people, but there are tables and benches outside that you can sit at. This is definitely a cool place.

Reve is awesome, definitely my favorite coffee place in Lafayette. The baristas are great, they have a good selection of music, and they make excellent coffee. You have a lot of good options for coffee in Lafayette, but my personal favorite is Reve

The Lab is amazing. My wife and I were visiting from Portland, and our friends shared this place with us. Not only did it have a Portland vibe, which made us feel like home, but the food and coffee were absolutely amazing. The owner and staff are cool and you can tell that they love their craft. It feels great to see this level of quality, and it was an amazing experience. We cant wait to go back to visit.

LOVE this place. Coffee and espresso is absolutely on point and all of the pastry goods are delicious. Nothing beats their espresso cinnamon roll. Aesthetics in the place are great! Its tucked away in River Ranch and a nice area to meet with friends or get work done on your own.

Rêve roasts great coffee, and the coffee lab is definitely a shop for people who appreciate that. Its a nice place to have a cup and a chat. There is a parking lot over the street too, which is nice.

As I lifted the ceramic cup to my parched mouth for the third time, I knew my life would never be the same. The featured espresso that day, an Ethiopian from 1000 Faces, was crafted so beautifully, with such care, as though this shot of espresso was the baristas very daughter. As I consumed this figurative heir, I sensed the innate sweetness amidst a flurry of intrinsic berry notes. Thank you for this awe-inspiring experience.

This is, by a large margin, the best coffee shop in Lafayette. The level of knowledge of the owner and staff far surpasses anything youll find at a national chain, as does the quality of the ingredients, the attention to detail, the decor and the customer service. If you like regular coffee, the pour-over at the lab is an absolute must-try. Its my go-to when I want to treat myself to a truly exceptional coffee experience. They also frequently offer gluten free pastries so good youd never guess they were gluten free, and some fanciful and inspired cold sweet creams that are a truly unique experience in Lafayette. If you havent been, go. You may pay a little more than chain coffee shop prices, but I assure you its worth every penny.

This place is right on my way to work, and I stopped in this morning for the first time, and was very pleasantly surprised. Very cool atmosphere, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and most importantly, delicious coffee. I highly recommend this place!

When I walked in, nobody greated me. I stood there and stood there and stood there while the guy behind the counter talked to his friend that was not ordering anything. Finally after they finished their conversation, the guy asked if he could help me. And to top it off, I was in a hurry! Its hard for me to believe that they have such a lack of customer service in a place like river ranch? Ive always went to the first one down town and I was happy to find out that they put one closer in town. The coffee was very good, thus the 3 star review. Its the only reason why I did not give them a 1 star review.

A hidden gem of a modern coffee shop. Their cold creams are delicious, and they typically have a non-dairy option. The batistas are nice and willing to answer your questions. Bonus, the wifi is actually good.

Reve coffee is amazing. The staff was very helpful and suggested the Psycho coffee drink, whiich is two shots on top of half and half and Reve homemade vanilla Superb! 🙂 So delicious. My only problem was it was too small.....

Definitely the best espresso in town! Also delicious slow-pour coffees, great pastries, and gelato. Although their selection isnt as extensive as CCs or Starbucks, the quality BY FAR surpasses those two! I love the atmosphere and staff, too. This spot cant be beat :)

Sadly it’s gone down hill since they took over the lab. It’s so hot inside and the service is so so slow. Such a bummer cause it used to be my favorite coffee shop in town.

When the Reve location downtown was closed on Sunday, we headed out to the Lab. Quick service, and the Nola iced coffee was quite good, rivaling top notch Nola Nola mixes.The pastries were good; the bacon and boudin sweet roll (or whatever it was) was surprisingly delicious. I mean, it had to be with all that and the rest thrown in.Only gripe: I think mason jars are kinda silly in restaurants and cafés, but maybe thats just me.
