I have have phenomenal service from the second I walked through the door with my husband at his appointment. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. Anytime I had a problem the staff goes above and beyond to help me. Anything from replacements for torn contacts to repairing my husbands glasses with no charge. Kayla is who I usually work with and I adore her. She is smart and always has a smile on her face. Dr. Lewis worked with me to get what I needed for contacts since I have problems with my eyes. It took us a few tries but I am now in a lens that is comfortable and I can see the best I have in forever!! Thank you to this phenomenal staff for bringing it and making every encounter wonderful!
I just left there and the staff was very nice Kayla did an excellent job. She was very friendly greeted me when I entered got me checked in and right back. The rest of the staff was quick well organized and friendly. Then Kayla was very knowledgeable about the products and explained my options. It was a very good experience
From walking in the door, getting met with smiles, and a warm welcome, I would definitely recommend My Eye Dr. in Lafayette. From Kayla helping me pick out some new frames, to them handling all of my insurance questions. The Dr. was great and answered any and all questions I had. I would highly recommend this place to any and all looking for a good eye doctor. See yall in a year for the annual check up.
I’ve been coming here for 4 years, and have always had an awesome experience. Most recently I was in for a routine exam yesterday, was in and out in under 30 minutes. Dr. Lewis is very friendly and knowledgeable; the staff is efficient and helpful. They always work to get the best deal possible beyond what insurance can cover. I’ve recommended several others here and all have had a great experience.

Communication is horrible.Cant get an appointment within a month.Said it would take 2 weeks to get my glass..took 2 months.And still havent received my contacts. and look like I never will.DO NOT GO THERE

Great experience, staff, and doctor. Great selection of glasses, extremely nice building, and was thoroughly cleaned multiple times during the hour long visit I was there. Been going to eye doctors for over 20 years and overall nicest place Ive gone to.

Dr.Lewis was so amazing she explained everything to me and didn’t just use Doctor words you don’t understand. The staff in the office is by far the best customer service I have ever received.
This place is definitely a good place to go I use to go to neo vision and they didn’t really help out or anything. I started coming here and just walking in the atmosphere is so much better and welcoming, everyone from the dr to every other women that works there is very knowledgeable and very helpful. I’ve been going for two years now and they have always helped me out specially Kayla has always helped me pick out the best frames and lenses for me, I definitely recommend this place to everyone that needs to see an optometrist and wants a welcoming and fun atmosphere

This is the second year I’ve been to this location with this doctor, and I love this office. The medical receptionist is so knowledgeable about billing and will work hard to get you the lowest price with or without insurance. The doctor herself is so knowledgeable and takes her time with the exam, and is always willing to look at your prescription if it feels a little wonky. She also takes the time to answer all the questions I have and without any condensation. They’re all super patient and skilled and their jobs and we will keep coming back! Highly recommend.

I am very impressed with this office. I just had my annual eye exam (2 total now) and the doctor is informative and friendly. The staff is courteous and always willing to ask answer questions that you may have. I have not ordered glasses through them. Their precautions and procedures during covid-19 are excellent.
I totally understand with everything going on that some changes are in place. That being said, I made an appointment to see about getting another pair of glasses. So I show up and the young lady answered the door ( because you cant be trusted to walk in safely) and informed me that my wife was not allowed in with me, even though there were no other customers in the building. I brought her to help pick out new frames. I informed her to take me off their books. Im done and wont be back. This was after they totally messed my last visit up, and I thought I would give them a second chance. Very Unprofessional!!!

Always been great in the past. I went back in for an adjustment and there was someone that was obviously upper management. I felt so bad for the staff. She stood over each employee and watched every move. Very unprofessional and was very condescending to the staff in front of other customers. The manager is gone now. She was the absolute best ever and always treated my family like her own. Very disappointed she is gone. We will definitely be seeking for her. She was a wizard in fixing glasses and could work magic. Doctor is wonderful and so attentive to detail. This new company obviously does not value their employees. Very astonished that this lady was so pompous but then acted as if the optician had no idea what she was doing although this optician has been there for a while. No one should ever act like that and put down their employees in front of patients. Very disgusted with this last visit.
The glasses they sold me were not the right prescription. Then they gave me the run around trying to get them fixed. They still owe me a set of glasses or 320 dollars.
I was hesitant at first to call because of the reviews but being last eye Dr I seen that had great reviews I had horrible experience not only did I not get a full check on my eyes I was had a difficult time getting and waiting on the glasses which were not good. Anyways I was was able to get an appt the very next day, the staff was attentive, patient yet professional and explained everything to me they were going to do to assure that I get a good eye check up/physical. The eye Dr. was amazing she put ne at ease immediately. She was thorough in her exam of my eyes and the testing to see which glasses script I need. She explained to me why my eyes are giving me the issues that I have and which I have never had this happen she came and helped me pick out the right glasses frame for what I was need. I have to have bifocals always had too. I struggle picking just the right one so I can picked 2-3 and the Dr told me which pair would be best for the bifocals. DOCTOR, I THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT!! They said it will be about 10 days til they come in and I got the call yesterday they will be ready in 10 days. Well, theyre ready and it was half that we 5 days super excited!!!

Any review over 3 months is irrelevant and they are under new management and the old reviews are for Ossip, not myeyedr. I walked in staring at a 2.5 star review prepared to walk out after calling ahead to schedule a walk-in. Front desk was kind and professional. The doc is amazing, very personable and improved my prescription beyond words. My world is crystal clear in my new contacts for astigmatism. I interacted with all of the staff and they were all very professional and personable. Highly recommend this business.
Ossip has moved to a new location but its super nice. Their technology is very up-to-date; they dont have to dilate eyes with their retinal imaging. The care was efficient and everyone was super nice and helpful. I usually dont write reviews but I was so impressed with my visit that I would highly recommend the Lafayette location to other people!
The experience was fantastic. From the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left after everything was done, each member of the staff was more than knowledgeable, extremely polite, and very kind. Everything was exceedingly well maintained, very clean, and in my opinion, very top of the line. I was highly impressed with the amount of tech they have to field exams. I received nothing less than expert level service from every member of the team.
The girls are super sweet..great customer service...the eye Dr. ...is Awesome..i have been wearing glasses for 30 years...she gave me the most complete exam I have ever had.. I got my glasses quickly and have never been able to see better!.. I highly recommend
NO STARS!!! Worst experience EVER at an eye Dr.! Over two months without getting correct glasses or contacts. Only ONE returned phone call in that time 2 month period! I had to always call them to follow up and try to get updates. Felt completely lost and beyond frustrated! At one point my glasses sat in a drawer that no one knew about for over a week! I only ended up with two months of needless frustration, countless trips into their office, no glasses, no contacts, and wishing I had never walked in their door!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE and save yourself the nightmare!.... UPDATE ... Currently, waiting to get my money refunded (which I know will continue my nightmare). The office manger told me she would call me back the following day with the refund amount, and I have yet to hear from her! She told me Monday she would call me the following day - It is now Friday. AGAIN - shocked that no one called me back. I also asked for a phone to track/contact someone in regards to my refund, and the phone number she gave me was not to the company at all!!! AGAIN - shocked! Nor did she help assist with trying to get my insurance benefits to be credited back like she said. I had to find a number for the corporation online, and the gentlemen on the phone was able to update me on my refund status, amount, etc. (again that she has yet to do) and helped me get the insurance benefits credited back to me.Like I said ... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !!! You do not need this nightmare!!!
Great doc.. However they will screw you when it comes to billing. I paid my bill, then 3 months later was billed again for exact amount Melissa said she credited!! Changed her story so many times I cant keep up. I will advise ALL our employees to go elsewhere!!
I have gone there several times for an exam and glasses at their old location. This is the first time I went to them in their new location. They have really worked with me on getting the lowest price for my glasses since I dont have insurance and am on a tight budget. I did have to wait for the doctor longer than usual - probably 15 to 20 minutes. I dont know if she was just running behind...it never happened at their old location. I have been to different glasses places around the Lafayette area over the years, and this seems to be the best place for me.
Dont go here. They charge you for extra procedures without telling you. Its just included in the paperwork that your sign and too bad for you if you dont read the fine print. Plus banter between doctor and aides is a little unprofessional. Not a lot of selection when it comes to frames and overpriced. Save money. Go elsewhere.
The reason for five stars is because Dr Alexander has been great to me and he has state of the art equipment and has got me my very 1st pair of glasses I can see out of unlike Walmart. He also realized I had dry eyes plus astigmatism and could tell my cholesterol was hi not to mention the friendly staff. They also gave me a great discount on my Oakley frames with the best lenses you can buy. One more thing I broke a pair in four pieces and they replaced them for free
I used to pay more for glasses, not here was hundreds less and I got better quality.... VSP was accepted!! The glasses are not marked for price but that was only a minor thing. Staff was amazingly patient and considerate!
**BEWARE**. First, I made my appointment online, when I arrived for my appointment I was informed I did NOT have an appointment. The girl at the counter was quite rude and seems very ittitated. Against my better judgement, I made a return appointment for 1 week later. I arrived for my appointment, Dr. Lewis was very kind and informative. Unfortunately, after having my exam, they did not have my contact prescription in stock. I was told they would have to order my contacts and they’d give me a call when they came in. Twelve (12) business days later I still had not received a call back so I called in to inquire. The girl that answered the telephone said it looked as though the contacts were never ordered. She stated she would investigate and someone would call me back in 20-30 minutes. Well, now it’s been 5 days and still no call. Needless to say, I will NOT be returning to Ossip in Lafayette, Indiana.

No stars. Customer service and products are subpar. Paid $700 after insurance. Screw came out of frame and because its been 13 months they refuse to replace it. Told me I would have to get another eye exam and new frames. I went to Walmart and they replaced the screw for free. This is on the preferred providers list for Franciscan Alliance. I filed a complaint with my insurance. Also filed a complaint with myeyedr.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible service, the front desk children have NO idea what theyre doing. They lost my wifes files, didnt order her glasses, failed to call her back on NUMEROUS occasions. We called a friend to come in and help us who worked at an eye doctor location for years.They were upset about this and said they could no longer see her. They were mad at her, bc they SUCK! We paid for everything already and now they wont give her her contacts and of course they still never ordered her glasses correctly. Mind you its 3/4/19 ... my wifes first appt there was 1/3/19. Months of headaches with these idiots!!!Save yourself the trouble...go somewhere else!!
They were not experienced in billing at ALL! I had to provide my receipts and insurance bills to them. They over charged for everything and I still have to deal with their billing cause they say we owe even though I know we dont! Not looking forward to even going back to deal with a bill I know we dont owe! I thought wrong when I thought I didnt have to do the billing departments job too!! Im glad I keep good files!!
The medical staff are professional and courteous. The Opticians however are clueless. Theyve changed their employees, their brands and their practice standards.I inquired about the possible cost of my eye exam and my glasses purchase. I was told not to worry & to come on in. I later arrived for my appointment. I went through the motions, placed my order and paid my $10 co-pay. I was then asked if that was all I was going to put down. I remarked that I had already been assured that I was going to be taking care of. Nope. Im then told Im required to pay at least 50% up front to even order my glasses.I stated that my glasses were literally broken & just hanging together with black electrical tape. Obviously I couldnt have my glasses until they were paid in full. That OSSIP OPTOMETRY was not a pharmacy & no one was going to pull an armed robbery over eye glasses. I joked about a blind robber.Obviously my glasses were not ordered that day. A few days later, I call to pay for my glasses & the order isnt even saved to my profile. The Optician who answered cannot accept my payment because there was no order on hold for my glasses.Needless to say, I asked to have my prescription printed up & taken to Evan, Piggot & Finney Eye Care. They take VSP.
Always good and helpful, never been over or double billed, always in and out fairly quick and the staff is always helpful.
My appointment was at 11 am. Here it is 137pm and I am just leaving.Wasnt given the full information of what my full appointment cost would be when I called in and made the appointment. Imagine my surprise at check out when I was told it was going to be close to $200. Luckily Craig, the General Manager, worked with and took care of it due to not bei,g informed when I made the appointment and told the girl on the phone what I was wanting and asked total cost.Will not return ever...
Great customer service, experienced care providers, and a huge selection of on trend designer frames!! Definitely pricier than going the walmart/target/Meijer route, but well worth it!
Terrible customer service. Will screw you on billing,likes to over charge. Trying to switch eye dr and they are giving me the runaround on getting my kids recent script.
