I give All Brands in Lafayette, Louisiana 5 stars! Why? Because their service is superb. I have been greeted so kindly every single time I step into this store. They are very knowledgeable about their products and so patient as you make your selection. Their fabric selection is every seamstress dream and there is a host of quality threads and supplies. Thank you All Brands for providing quality service with kindness!
The staff at Allbrands is just the best! They go out of their way to help! I had an issue with snaps and they stayed beyond closing and went out of their way to help me. One of my favorite “go to” places for sewing supplies in Lafayette! Great inventory but most of all, wonderful, attentive, people!
This was my 1st time walking into this Allbrands store, what a Great experience. Casey who was my customer service sales associate along with the manager made me feel at home. I didnt know everything I needed to get started with embroidery and know I kind of understand what materials I will need to start practicing. What great experienced, but very knowledgeable and helpful. I cant wait to continue to do business with this All brands her in Lafayette. Thanks Casey for making me fill welcomed.
The employees at this store are always helpful, considerate and attentive with assistance and information with any project that I am working on at the moment. Truly an awesome experience to visit this store with whatever fabric or machines you are looking for.Patricia Adams
Dont waste your time. Rude staff, minimal stock, and the items and machines they do have dont even work. Was told they dont have a floor model they could show me of the cheaper machine I was interested in while standing in front of a table with the machine sitting on top of it. Fine if its not working, but dont have it on the floor if youre going to refuse to show it to me.
My patience is running very thin with this company. I came there about a month ago now to get the Stellaire XJ1. I drove about 1 1/2 hours to get this machine. I even called and they said they had some in stock, one being a floor model. I get there and the staff was very helpful and nice however, after financing the machine, I was then told they didn’t have any in the back. I was then told that they could order it and it will be here on Wednesday of that next week. Cool no problem, I can wait🙂! But when I tell you it’s been the same thing for going on almost a month now. All I’m hearing now is “I’m sorry our truck hasn’t came in..it’s possible it’s on back order..it should be in next week.!” Every Wednesday since then I been calling and no luck. One guy even told my husband that they were waiting on the UPS truck and the earliest could be today(10/13/20). So I called today and what a surprise 🙄 no shipment in and now I have to wait once again to Wednesday to see if any came in. If none comes in by next Wednesday, I am canceling my order and going to a better business. All this could have been avoided if I was just told upfront that they didn’t have any to sell and shipment would be an issue. I was also even told that a sales rep from that store would call a neighboring city to see if they had the machine and I would get a phone call back. No one has called me back about that either. I really do hope this store can get their act together because they are really messing with people’s businesses. I hope no one else has to experience this.
I bought an embroidery machine from there about 10 months ago. This wasnt just a sell for them. Their customer service is out of this world. Does not matter what issue Im having they are always outstanding an extremely helpful. Best customer service Ive ever come in contact with. They will have my business til the end of time!!
I purchased my forever machine there yesterday and I must say the customer service was outstanding. Kelly patiently answered all my questions and guided me in the right direction of what I needed to purchase. They will definitely be my go to sewing machine dealer from now on. Thanks, Kelly!
I think the admins of this site have made a huge mistake by calling this an appliance store. Its really a sewing, quilting, machine embroidery, needlework SUPERSTORE !!!!It was my great joy to work with Kathy and John for a few short months, but I learned SO much from my time spent with them as an employee, and now, as just a regular customer. There is never been a time when I have been turned down when I needed instruction or help in operating my machine better. 10 stars!!
As a potential new customer, I did not feel welcomed at all. When I walked in, the employees were having their own conversation and didnt notice I walked in. I even walked pass them to get to the fabric section, but they continued their conversation. A few minutes later, a couple walked in, and not only were they greeted, they were also offered help. I walked around for a few minutes and found a few pieces of fabric I wanted to buy, but I felt absolutely sick to my stomach at the thought of buying from them, so i left.
On July 8th, 2019 I walked in to the Lafayette store to inquire about renting their longarm machine to finish a quilt top. I was put in contact with Terry. Terry explained the requirement to take a class to get certified prior to using the machine. He also told me he could quilt it for me for $$. I agreed to let Terry quilt it and also told him I still wanted to take a class. He was in Baton Rouge that week and asked that I bring my quilt top in the following week. I dropped my quilt top off at the store, to Terry, on 7/15/2019. Terry told me it would only take him about one hour to complete and he would have it ready by the next Friday (4 days). I called on Friday only to find out the longarm was down and would be repaired the following week. Long story short with many texts (most unanswered), phone calls and drop ins to the store my quilt is still not finished and Ive yet to schedule a day/time for class. Every class that was scheduled was cancelled by Terry. I was given one excuse after another. I was even told that my quilt top was complete but Terry forgot it at his house (forgot for 3 days). Unbelievable! As you can tell, this has put a sour taste in my mouth about this store and how they conduct business. And to think I was ready for a class then I was going to purchase a complete longarm system! I am in sales and I assure you if I treated my accounts in the manner in which I was treated I would have no business. Today, 10/21/2019, 3 months later, I picked up my unfinished quilt top! Such a disappointment.
I live 2.5 hours away from this store and will drive the distance to go to this particular store. There is an allbrands store closer to me that I do not like at all, but the customer service and the people that work in the Lafayette store are the BEST!!!! You wont regret taking the drive to see these employees!
Awsome store with great people. Cathy is so helpful and so friendly. She makes the store. Its really a disappointment when I need supplies and go to the store and she is not there.Quality products and better service.
Part of a chain of mostly machine sales, but some fabric dealing mainly with quilts and childrens clothing. They are friendly and helpful.
Staff was not interested in making a sale, making every excuse in the book not to have to disassemble the machine I drove over an hour to pickup. Didnt buy and wont go back there!!!
Super helpful staff! Love the remodeled store!
Went there to look for a replacement sewing machine the sales lady was very nice answered all the question and i walker out with a new machine at a good price. i will go back
You know when I walk nto the store and absolutly no help is offered to me. I stayed there for about 15 minutes looking for a special ribbon I purchased about 2 years ago and looked around the whole store like a little lost puppy dog all while everyone employed there was was yapping with one person. I wouldnt leave this review at all, but its not the first time this has happened to me. I feel invisible Everytime I walk in there. I have went several times only to walk out empty-handed and pissed off becouse Noone acknowledged me. The one in lafayette la. Right next to joanns is the one Im talking about.
We are very disappointed. Brought in the overly expensive Sebo for repair in July, wrong hose was installed ($ 180.00 for hose, belt & installation) bring the thing home three weeks later & its worse than ever ... wrong hose = loss of suction. Brought the thing back, it was apparently sent to Baton Rouge where it was misplaced for several weeks. It took many phone calls, none returned until the last one explaining the screw up but with assurances that it works just fine. It doesnt. In fact it appears not to have been touched and has the same too long hose. The Lafayette lady was rude and disrespectful. We requested the proper hose which we offered to install and have heard nothing since.
Bought $400 product that arrived damaged.Their customer service is terrible and I will never do business with this company again.
Very friendly and helpful staff
