The parts guys are 5 stars. I always get what I need; regardless if I buy from Teche. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. I always leave with ideas. The lighting counter, however, has much to be desired in terms of service.

Ordered a gas lantern. Was personally told over the phone they would be open until 12:00 on Christmas Eve. Got there at 11:40. Closed. A 1.5 hour drive for nothing. Thank you Teche Electric for wasting my time and gas money. Very poor service. Will shop elsewhere especially considering a customer was let out of the locked door and my knock right after was met with a person locking the door and walking away. Not a single additional cent of my money you will receive. Plus, I will share my experience with everyone.

Terrible customer service; I will never return! I called 3 times to speak with my sales lady to get an update on my order placed (and paid for) and never received a return phone call. My designer had to show up personally to get any answers. Then when I called to speak with the accounting department about a charge on my credit card (after I had paid in full), they put me on hold, then accused my designer and my contractor (who picked up the materials) of using my card, which neither had access to. When I stated that, they put me on hold again, then blamed their computer system and the fact that the store was shorthanded. Someone who is there regularly stated to me that the shorthanded excuse is one theyve been using for 6+ months and is just that - an excuse. I have several more jobs to finish, but Ill take my business elsewhere.

They were very helpful in finding a replacement ballast that worked for my application. This is the only electrical supply house that I use. Their prices are reasonable and the staff is knowledgeable.

Great lighting selection for remodeling or new construction - also has all of your electrical needs and free popcorn and coffee for customers !
