I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The place’s prices are so low! Actually they weigh it by weight. FYI The food ain’t gonna expire and if it is going to it’s right it’s just fine! Snacks can last a long time! We normally spend half an hour at this place and sometimes even 1 hour! A BIG SELECTION OF SPICES FROM INDIA 🇮🇳 We spend a lot of time talking with the owner laughing and talking! The owners mom is really nice and fun to talk to too! Signs are put around so the place will be clean. I appreciate that very much because this place is really really clean! A tiny bit a dust but that’s just fine. This place might be a lot smaller than Walmart but it truly is the best! Since this place is near and in a suburban or urban area this place is yes really nice!

This place is incredible for bulk spices and vegetarian food options. Their eggplants are also fresh and cheap (if you get there in time before they sell out!) The staff is very helpful as well :)

So I wasnt sure what to expect when I went here. To my surprise they have a very good selection on Indian spices and some had to find Indian treats, etc. By far the best place in Lafayette to get Indian ingredients.

The only place I know to find authentic Indian spices that I know of in Lafayette. The prices are really good, and there is a large selection of spices, teas, lentils and other cooking essentials. Its a little hard to get into, since you cant turn across Guilbeau there, but it is worth the hassle.

This place is a joke, most of the time items do not have a price tag on it and the owner enters them as he wishes during checkout. Many items are are either expiring within a month or already expired.When you try to inform them, they say, Oh its going to be fine. Not much selection of snacks and mostly Haldiram products.Prices are also high unless it is printed on the packet itself.Would rather go to Houston and shop for months grocery than shop at this store, very bad experience.

We met the owner who was super nice. They have just about everything that you need. And the prices, very reasonable. We thought it was going to cost alot because I bought so many things, but no..... it was amazeballs

The Desi Spice Bazaar is the best Indian grocery in Lafayette, hands down. I know that the options are pretty limited, but of the lower amount of choices, I found Desi to be the more organized and have the better selection. They have a wide variety of spices, pastes, frozen items, etc. The gentleman behind the counter is very friendly and helped me find some Fenugreek leaves and answered some questions I had. Cant wait to go back.

They have all the Indian and Pakistani spices you would need to make an authentic meal and also carry convenient frozen meals, rotis and desserts. They get fresh vegetables that you can use in Indian cooking, but wont find elsewhere, every Friday. The owners are very friendly and helpful!

Im Middle Eastern so this store is a necessity in my life!I love the variety and am thankful for the very affordable prices. The man who works there is very nice and gave me a sample plate of their chicken tikka masala, dessert, and chai. What a wonderful experience 🤗I cant wait to go back!
