Handy Stop Market smells and feels like a small town grocery store. The smiling, helpful staff and delicious plate lunches will have me coming back. My daughter and I popped in for a quick bite before her hair appointment at the Refinery. When we finished we walked to the salon. The market is perfectly situated downtown with close proximity to every thing else downtown Lafayette offers.

Nice little market in the heart of the historic district. Great home made wraps and meat pies. I havent tried the soups but I hear they are excellent as well. The owner is friendly, helpful and very customer service orientated.

I love Handy Stop! I don’t really go downtown, but I go a little out of my way to visit Bradley and his friendly staff at Handy Stop. There is a little bit of everything there. I especially like the breakfast wraps and the fresh smoothies. There are many tasty and healthy solutions... something for everyone. Stop by and take a look for yourself. You won’t be disappointed!

I LOVE Handy Stop Market & Cafe! As someone who works downtown, I was thrilled to find out that we would be getting a grocery store and even more thrilled to find out it would have a cafe, too! Since theyve opened, they have not disappointed (except they dont carry k-cups yet...but I forgive them lol)! Its been wonderful to be able to walk down on my lunch breaks and grab a delicious lunch or a few groceries, and it is really impressive to see how many local businesses products they carry as well as fresh produce. And as a plus, everyone there is so nice and welcoming! I look forward to seeing this place grow and flourish!

The staff is incredibly nice.

The sweet potato fries are amazing, best I’ve ever had, better than I thought sweet potato fries could be. The turkey burger was very good. Service was very friendly and fast. Very clean. Happy to see this place down town.

We went in for lunch and found so many delicious options, we left with lunch and incredible, local bottled drinks to last a few days!

Handy Stop Market & Cafe is a great source for local produce, groceries or a quick and healthy bite to eat. Bradley and his staff are wonderful! I highly recommend the Handy Stop!

This place isquite excelent.Mr.Bradis a nice caring guy and if he is able to help you he will but be forewarned if you cause any problemsor yrouble with Mr.Brad and i find out you will have to deal with me. Too many kind and sincer hearted people get hurt abused and used. I will not allow this because he has shown me many of kindnesses and he has helped me a many of times. I trust mr.Brad. i can leave money with hi and he keeps my kiddie safe and secure so when i have no money i can go and get me a soda or gatoradeand not have to worry about anything. Great services and a great Guy!

This Actually Margaret Girouard— we are so lucky to have the Handy Shop Downtown... It is a shame that theirs are people out there who don’t get that we are in the middle of a world wide pandemic and can’t cut a new buisness a break to make sure their staff is safe and healthy. I will be a customer for life!

Gino, quit being a mean-o! In the middle of Covid and theyre just getting up and running and youre gonna give these guys a 1 star review?!?! I know they need business and unfortunately that means from people like you too, which equals small businesses who are trying to navigate the most stressful environment in a generation still getting crapped on and lose business from like you.
