I enjoy Rouses. If I request a product, they order it. When I checkout, theyre always friendly, and for me, personally, when youve got competition from medium sized to enterprise level grocers, that makes all the difference. Customer service, although rarely needed, its exceptional here. So, they will continue to get my business

First time customer .! Great variety of Dry goods and customer service was great. Very clean on the inside except for the Police officer who was working the store walking in the bathroom a spitting all over the sink where you wash your hands.! Will be a repeat customer

People are great and all, but several products Ive purchased recently ended up being damaged or spoiled. Avoid the Edys ice cream, the last 2-3 containers I bought were compromised. I doubt thats Rouses fault though.I had an issue with some meat, but they resolved it, and every other cut Ive gotten there has been great. The butchers are also great to talk with.

There is a fantastic selection of foods! I grabbed some lobster and crawfish, and they were both delicious! I also had some of their cakes, and they were decadent and moist!

Literally anything you would need you could get here. The deli is always fresh and full, they have buffets for lunch in the morning and their chantilly cakes and sushi chefs really rock the socks off anyone!

I purchased 8 lbs of MUD BUGS! YUCKS! They were horrible. Didnt taste any seasoning and even after they had boiled, we could still taste MUD! A total waste and a great disappointment! The price was great but the crawfish was awful.

A+ supermarket. Groceries, lunch, drinks, high end beef, seafood. It’s a perfect grocery store in my opinion.

Horrible. Cluttered, bad layout for a grocery store, and most sale items were not in stock.Multiple employees meandering about, ostensibly stocking, but definitely not effectively keeping items actually in stock.It comes across as being run in a similar fashion to a dollar store.

They started in Houma, LA which is near where my ex-wife lived. They are a family-owned business, which sells locally sourced food items, as much as possible.

Very rude guy in the seafood market, I will never step foot in there stores..

The lady was very talkative, helpful, and happy doing her job. Thats something thats very important to me! My day had been a bummer. That lady had me smiling when I left. Ive NEVER had such a wonderful cashier there before. I wish I knew her name. Shes a blonde blue-eyed older woman. Ill for sure look for her the next time I go grocery shopping!

Great deals and a very clean store

This Market seems to specialize in there. They have so many different foods in the deli it is actually fun to walk through there and see the different preparations are foods that they have. They have a great Wine Cellar. They have a pretty good hard look at area. The produce area is also very nice. Its really a great story its pretty much taken over the area here around Baton Rouge.

This was my first time coming to this store and it will be my last time going no catfish fillet no boneless top sirloin no pork sirloin chops and no tuna 2 for a $1.00

Nice and clean easy shopping

Our family likes our nearby Rouses Market (West Congress/Bertrand). They have great local favorites and the best sushi. I don’t feel like their hot-bar is as good it used to be though. Most times now it’s only half full and usually the same items. Not much variety. The staff is friendly and the cashiers are polite. Also, lately they’ve been hit-n-miss with their boiled crawfish. Sometimes they’re good size and sometimes not. No consistency. Overall I would rate shopping here middle of the road. 3/5Post-note: One of the poorest areas of this location hits you before you even get in the store. The parking lot is pretty atrocious. The isles are extremely narrow and getting in and out can be tricky and quite hazardous during rush times. I’ve had plenty of close calls here nearly getting banged up by other drivers. Not to mention walking to and from your car can be hairy as well.
