While everyone else was busy and didnt even acknowledge me, after awhile, Camille came up and ask if anyone had helped me yet. She is an awesome free spirited person. She was well informed and educated about the product. She went above and beyond to help me with my new purchase and tuned it for me as well. Excellent customer service! I would hire her for my store in a heartbeat.

It is the 2nd time I buy used gear from Guitar Center and it is the 2nd time I am disappointed.There will be no 3rd time!The used piece of equipment I purchased from Guitar Center came incomplete.In both events they havent included some of the cables needed, such as power cords etc.. And no users guide.They did not say it was missing. After confronting them on the phone about it they said that they do not list missing parts. As if its ok.It is unacceptable that 2 times I get a bad surprise from Guitar Center.Its shady!Im done with them!

Guitar was bought online shipped from them, old strings, lousy action, not setup at all. Never again, I should have waited until I could go into a brick and mortar store. And the 900$ martin comes across as a cheap knockoff.

4 star is for kevin the guitar tech wiz. On the flip side i asked a young man for strings to go on my 12 string ibenez,. He confidently gave me 6 strings and the btm string was a 12. Geez. Not to mention the mismatch cases purchased. Things happen, i get it.

I must admit I have bought a number of things there, however, I do have a difference of opinion with the management. Since it is a Music store and they sell guitars they would do better if they kept the guitars in tune.Stop worrying so much about hand sanitizer and masks. Young people are the least at risk. I’ll bet many of them Vape.

The manager was not very welcoming throughout the entire experience. I accidentally grabbed a small set of $5.99 guitar strings off the counter when I was checking out to add in with my other purchase when I was paying and he made it a point to stop the whole “check out” process to loudly tell me in front of everybody in the store that I need to ask him before ever grabbing anything again. That’s fine, it was an accident on my part, I’m so used to being able to shop like an adult and not have to ask “mommy and daddy” to grab every item I want to buy. lol Now, what kind of got to me was right when I was walking out, I was having alittle trouble with my face mask sliding down under my nose, so I kept having to slide it up. Well it slid down as usual, and before I could quickly get to it to pick it back up over my nose, he’s makes a scene again saying, “you need to get that masks picked up above your nose”. I was obviously already in the action of doing this, I really didn’t need to be embarrassed once again about something else. My feedback is about one manager, not about all employees of Guitar Center. I love Guitar Center, this just happened to be one manager. Thanks guys and gals of Guitar Center for my many great shopping experiences!

It’s like this people at place’s like the GUITAR CENTER I really STOPPED going because of this REASON.... SOME OF THE STAFF NOT ALL ... I’ve heard and seen people saying nasty things when people LEAVE OUT THE STore and instead of correcting someone while playing guitar like u should because work there but NO Some just TALK about other.. LIKE MAKING FUN OF them no I don’t know exactly what they say but can just watch....I GO WHERE I play and be comfortable.. SO heads people

They have a great location and plenty of products to choose from. Unfortunately the staff seems uninformed about their products and take forever to either great someone or even help them. Like car salesmen they are only concerned with people looking at big ticket items. Instead I will go to Gitz Music or Lafayette music as both are locally owned and much more helpful.

The People here are so helpful and nice they never judged anyone they keep the place clean and the instructors are so so nice. Who ever needs musical help or assistance should come here.

There are a few really helpful and friendly workers, and then there are the rest who may be knowledge able in some areas but dont put off the vibe that they really want to help. Product wise, the store isnt huge so they mainly just carry a couple of the big names. Use great selection is actually pretty good normally.

The employees are nice, and helpful. As a beginner left handed guitarist, itd be great to find more than the two left handed electric guitars in stock any time I go there. Its very disappointing to see a large selection of right handed guitars, but only two that I can choose from.

Love the experience of walking through the Guitar Center. All the staff there but very helpful of pointing me in the right direction and finally what I need for my musical taste. I plan on using them farther in reaching my Musical tastes and talents

On a span of six years, on three different occasions, they had me buy stuff that already came with what I bought. Be careful when you deal with them and check the Internet for the items that should be INCLUDED IIN YOUR PURCHASE because they seem to take stuff out of the package to resell it to you. I’m fed up with that place.Oh and horrible business ethics in general, and too proud to own up for their mess ups!!

Signed my son up for drum lessons,and they work with your schedule. Mr. Henry is my sons instructor and Im so glad, this man knows how to connect with my shy, sorta introverted son. Eagerly anticipating what comes next, however I feel confident that hes in good hands. Plus scored a discounted rate on lessons because of a Christmas special! Yay!

I was recently visiting the US from Australia, I wanted to purchase a piece of gear that was only available to be shipped direct from the Guitar Center warehouse. Given I dont have a US street address this was a problem, thankfully the staff at the Lafayette store were able to get the item shipped to the Miami store where I was going to be a week later. Thanks guys, you saved the day!

Big box music equipment. Some good deals. Friendly, knowledgeable staff though. Probably best part of them. Oh, and someone I know had them order PA equipment from them a while back, because they didnt have it in store, which seems quite common. But he ended up getting refunded about a year later, after countless times being told it was backordered from China and being sent right away. Dont waste your time ordering. Initially he was told it was shopping domestic and would be a week at most.

Meh. Its guitar center dont expect to much you wont be disappointed.Acoustic guitar selection is okay. Electric not much too choose from.Keyboards selection is abysmal. Sell mostly toys no real instruments.Not sure about the other services they provide . Guitar setups and what not. If your in Lafayette look up guitar hospital. I cant seem to find any luthiers in the area.

I walked in and was honestly impressed with the way things were displayed. Mr Tyson greeted us at the door and helped us to as much of his knowledge and was honestly giving great customer service. Then we got passed on to employee after employee and finally, when we got to the guitar expert named Seth, he seemed to know less of anyone and had the attitude of buy something and get out. Was looking around and ignoring us. We had to constantly repeat ourselves until we realised it wasnt worth it and juse left.

Excellent selection of musical equipment, I went in looking for a fender champ 20 amp and the manager immediately helped me find what I was looking for. I was In and out in about 10 minutes after checkout and looking around a little bit.

I wanted to set up lessons on singing and really push myself into doing something fun and new and savannah really helped me out and showed me what my possiblities are and what I can do.I met the nicest instructors and Kiki seems like a really inspiring teacher and I cant wait to explore!!!***UPDATE***I have now been taking vocal lessons for 2 months now and have seen massive improvements in my voice and understanding on music theory.Honestly, if you need help and figure something out, Savannah is the best person to help you out and Kiki is literally the best instructor I could ask for.Wish I could give 6/5 stars!
