Bought a used SCAG mower with no warranty which I understand. Brought the mower home and 4 days later the mower will hardly crank over due the battery being so weak. I called in to give them a chance to work with me to make it right and Sherry told me that there is no warranty and that was my problem. I asked to speak with the manager and talked to Brett. He promised to call me back the same day by 5pm. Not a word back from him after two days. I called and left another voicemail for him to call me back and no courtesy to call me back. I know what they did was charge up the battery after this had sat in their storage all winter to get it running. The battery cover was loose so they had been into it to put a charge on it and try to pass it off as a good running machine. I will never buy another piece of equipment from this place as they are dishonest and they know what they did and aren’t willing to have the decency to work with a customer to fix the problem. A battery is $40 or less for them and they are willing to screw you over to make them a buck.

Tech was very knowledgeable. Knew what was wrong with my mower before turning a wrench.

I bought a zero turn Scagused lawnmower and I couldn’t have found a more helpful and friendly company in person to buy this from! Was the only customer in store at 7:30am. Waited a good 5 min and no one came up to help or see if I had any questions. I gave them one star because the store was clean

I went in and walked out. I needed questions answered but no one seemed to help me. I had several employees pass me but none stoped to ask for help. I figured I wasn’t spending enough for them so they didn’t care. Needless to say I walked out. After I was in the store for about 15-20 min with no help I walked out. The woman behind the desk asked if I needed anything (Right before I left)to let her know. As far as I’m concern she was the only one who cared. I went to Riggs and bought the trimmer.

I dropped off my stihl powerhead because of a no start issue. They took it in that day and had it ready the next day. They did not even charge me a bench fee. All the staff in the service department were very polite, respectful and courteous.

The service is off the charts. Everyone I have dealt with is great. Counter guys are great. Receptionist is funny and friendly

Not the best selection or prices for residential. They only sell Scag and Stihl brand. Good place for parts and service though.

I took my exmark mower to the service team that had agreed to work on even though it was not a brand that they are familiar with. The service team including Brett went above and beyond to get my mower in the best working shape as possible and for a great price. Highly recommend.

Good people to work with

Visited the store last week. Was greeted by receptionist with a hello. Walk around sales floor looking to purchase a Scag ZTR and Stilh pole saw,but couldnt get anybody to help. As soon as I made eye contact they would look the other way. Went down the road and bought a pole saw at another Stilh dealer.

The service has steadily declined since being bought by West Side Tractor (it was previously Holt Equipment). As the service has went down, the price for simple service has went up.For a yearly tune-up (oil change, filter change, etc) on a PUSH mower, it routinely takes three to four weeks. This year, they had our mower for about a month, charged us for something that broke (due to their error) and returned our mower without doing the tune-up.When we returned the mower get the service done, they said it would take a day or two (for a tune-up?!), but still havent gotten it back to us after four days.When calling to check on the mower, nobody ever seems to know what is going on. this will be my last time using West Side to service my mower.
