I needed a switch for the stove top burner the new replacement part was a little bit different they showed me how to wire it and where very helpful. I wouldnt buy appliance parts anywhere else.

Started out with a very sweet person, I went in to purchase my part. I got the whole assembly for my dryer which was 30.00 more than just the parts BUT THE CAN DID NOT FIT. When i called to inform them all they could say was that the part hmm even the owner. No compassion for me paying more than I needed.

These Great folks here saved me A LOT of money to fix my dryer! Went in for a heating element and barring kit. Instead of spending $100 on the element they explained I can just change the coil for $30🙌🏾. $130 repair became $50! Dryer works fine now!!! Thank you!

Now, let me just share this with you readers out there....This is the way retail should be done...I am from Lake Charles looking for a restring kit (heating element) for my dryer. Not having any luck here I ventured out to Lafayette looking for an appliance parts store and came across Ideal Appliances during my search.I made 1 call, got hold of Kathy at the parts desk...what a relief to get someone so helpful and friendly. She never rushed me through this 15 minute or so ordeal. She located a hard to find part for me along with two other stock items I needed.It was enjoyable doing business with her, and they have now become my appliance parts business for the future.Thanks Kathy I appreciate your help.

I needed some suspension rods for my washer. At first, I was going to order them from Amazon but did a Google search for appliance parts in Lafayette. Ideal Appliance Parts came up. I decided to order the part from someone local instead of online. There was some confusion with my order not being filled but I called and it was taken care of promptly. So far, the parts are doing well and the service was great! If you need parts for you appliance, shop local first.

The people that work there truly care whether or not your parts work and the prices are definitely reasonable They want to make sure if its a timer you need for your dryer that it really is they make you bring the old part so they can match it up and test it the biggest thing they test the parts before they want you to buy Them if I could give him a 10 star rating I would

Clerk and website both said they were open on Saturday til 2pm. They were not. Horrible service!Update: Talked with Wayne at their Metairie store, and he straightened everything out. Great service with them! He got me the parts I needed delivered to my door quickly.BOTTOM LINE: They showed me that they care about me as a customer.

Called ahead to make sure the store had the part that I needed and the associate who answered the phone said yes and found the part and held it for me to pick up. I arrived at the store 5 minutes after I hung up the phone and the part was waiting for me and the staff was very pleasant and informative.

First and last time Ill deliver there. If the lady (Im assuming the store manager) didnt come at me with such a bad attitude, I probably would have helped your employees unload my trailer. Call your GE rep to make you the priority on a 2 stop delivery. Your distributor is the reason for the delay but you chose to take it out on me, the driver, instead. Your lack of professionalism and inability to control your anger is bad for business. I hope you dont treat your customers like that.
