I came here looking for red habaneros but they didn’t have any. Too bad. Instead I got some guayabas, tejocotes, and piloncillo to make ponche mejicano (already have the other ingredients on hand) so I can’t complain. They also had mangoes for $0.59, which is a bit more than I like to pay but they were seriously enormous and perfectly ripe. Highly recommend.Edit:The new management must be very recent, because I could’ve sworn it was called La Fiesta Produce Market. Is it related to the Plaza Mexicana a(f?)ka Las Tres Hermanas in Frankfort? I think they are under new management as of recently too. Now I’m really curious. In any case this is much more than a produce market or even a super market. I suppose between the English “super market” and Spanish “frutería carnicería y taquería” that covers most of it. This is way off on a tangent but why does frutería seem so much more common than verdulería? It seems like the latter is usually more accurate, such as in this case. Maybe it’s the negative connotation of verdulera (and verdulero to a lesser extent, as always seems to be the case). Okay now I’m way off topic so just visit, buy, and enjoy!

Another hidden gem, this is really hidden inside of a grocery store lol. We were in the area and stopped by to pick up some ingredients for home and noticed they had a little restaurant inside. Definitely authentic Mexican food and affordable. Food looked so good we forgot to take picture and dove right in. $20 for 2 tortas, 3 tacos, and 2 drinks. (Alot cheaper than fast food and ALOT better taste). Definitely keeping this place in mind next time in the Lafayette area.

My daughter was looking for a specific item so we stopped in for a quick purchase, but of what I did see, they have about any product you would need to fix authentic Mexican food. Although the store is small, the selection is huge. I got a glance at their meat counter and it was impressive, Ill be going back soon once I have a little more time to shop around in there.

Great little family run Mexican grocery store in Lafayette. Great variety in the butcher area. As a European my favorite my part. Nice to have a human making things instead of buying Harley Davidson brand sausages at Walmart. There is also a cool little restaurant in the back that is definitely worth it.Also a ton of Mexican products and produce which I dont know as much about. But great place.

An ample supply of any Mexican product you could want and also products from central and south America. They had the Malt soda I was looking for and also many different dried chiles to make a delicious homemade enchilada sauce.

The store portion is okay. Its a average Mexican store but where it shines is the restaurant in the back. Food has always been good, but there isnt a lot you can order only tacos, burritos, and tortas. I have never been disappointed in the food but it is kinda overpriced. Overall a great little restaurant.

Best tacos and tortas Ive ever had in Indiana. Ive been here at least 20+ times and its always great. I have only gotten the chicken though. It sucks that they dont really have vegetarian options.

Cashier charged us with the wrong price and refused to give us the money back. Be very careful and review your receipt, they tend to overcharge your bill. Some of their products are expired.

Theres a lot of different things to buy here. From soccer jerseys to baby dolls to rosaries to onions to meat to cereal.... Its there! I went in to find some specific Mexican food, but got caught up looking at everything, lol. The people working were very nice, and asked several times if I needed anything. Theres also a restaurant in the back!! I never knew that, nor how big it is inside. The front of the building makes it look dingy, gross, and tiny but in reality its bright inside, air conditioned well, and is way larger than youd think. I havent tried the restaurant yet, so well see. I will admit the produce for sale was the most overpriced I have seen at any of the local Mexican groceries and it was very old. Jalapenos were turning red, nats on the onions and tomatillos were brown, etc... (Granted, Ive seen that elsewhere but Im not rating them right now) The only really bad thing I saw was when a customer came in, walked up to the meat counter display case holding the carnitas, stuck his bare hands in and helped himself to a piece of meat.... Umm NO. WAY. That was disappointing to say the least, but I guess if youre looking for an interesting store to just wander around in-this is it!

Great selection of Mexican staples - beans, rice, chiles, meats, fruits & vegetables. The taqueria in back is first-class. Limited menu - it IS a taqueria, not a restaurant but the tacos, burritos, gorditas, and menudo are the best youll find.
