Don’t waste your time! They charged me 50$ total to replace the clasp on my necklace & when it broke the very first time I took the necklace off they refused to replace or repair it.I didn’t take my more expensive jewelry there thank God!They have a very dated inventory of jewelry for purchase as well. There are plenty of businesses who stand behind their work and aren’t too defensive to scare off future business. For Gold buying-I recommend Second Impressions, in Mission Viejo. Brandon was very professional and treated me with dignity.👍
Very good service and advice. Watch repair ws totally explained. A good find for future needs.
I have been going to Peter for about 7 years, starting when he was at the Laguna Hills Mall. I took my 90 year old mother there to have her rings sized as she was getting smaller. He was so kind to her and did a beautiful job on her rings, polishing them and making them look gorgeous. He appraised her jewelry as well. Since then I have had several pieces of jewelry adjusted and just picked up my great grandmothers ring that needed to be repaired as it was old and lost a diamond. (He had warned me when he resized it for me that the prongs were old and fragile but at the time I didnt want to spend the money. Oops!) He did a great job and polished the sapphires (not sure if they are real or not and it doesnt matter) and they look like new. My great grandmother wore it every day according to my mother and it is so special to me.Peter is the real deal!
They charged $24.95 for a simple watch battery. Checked around & discovered the average price to be $10-$15. They lost a long term customer & any referrals in the future....
I came in and immediately felt judged. The jeweler seemed like he didn’t want to help me fix my dads ring. Don’t come here if you have a sentimental piece you want fixed. They don’t care. Definitely money hungry. Very pushy and good at making you feel incompetent
Peter is definitely a Master Jeweler and Gemologist! I have been using his expertise for many years now and trust his knowledge and abilities to design and also repair many of my jewelry pieces. He has given me his honest opinion regarding jewelry items that I have brought to him. He has redesigned very expensive jewelry pieces and I continually get positive comments from strangers about the items. I recommend him to my friends because I know that he will be honest with them and also give them fair prices for their jewelry repairs and designs. He is the BEST!!Ellen P.
Im a long time repeated customer of Profix Jewelry and Watch Repairs and I’ve been bringing my own Jewelry pieces, and Watches for batteries, and other repairs, Im very pleased with their quality repairs and customer service, Providing a professional, honest and friendly attitude, Services are done on the premises, with an expert Master jeweler, I’ve recommended this place to all my friends and Family members. Same as I was referred to them by a friend of mine.Having a trustworthy professional such as Profix, its priceless and hard to find.
Peter did an amazing job fixing my ring by tightening the stone and the diamond back together. He then did a great polishing it and it looked great at a reasonable price.
Guy is very helpful and professional. Very knowledgeable. Will be back
Peter is an excellent jeweler...whether it’s minor repairs, refurbishing old jewelry or purchasing some new bling...SATISFACTION INDEED! A GOOD JEWELER is a PERSONAL SERVICE everyone needs! 😀💍💎👏🏻
I was recommended by a friend to use Profix. Bait & switch! Peter the jeweler is a condescending liar. After spending $1200, he lied about what he did & didnt do & when one of my ring prongs broke, he said he didnt repair it in the first place. He originally said he was going to rebuild the entire box and changed me accordingly & now tells me he didnt & wants to charge me $300 to fix it! Go somewhere else. Im very disappointed as I really couldnt afford the $1200 I spent on my credit card!
My watch was adjusted improperly at another store, so now it runs slow. So I asked the guy at profix to speed it up, and he gave me some BS story about how it needed to be serviced for $200. The watch is only 2 years old and does not need to be serviced yet. Its not running slowly because of some problem in the movement, its running too slowly because someone else loosened the hairspring too much. Then I got the watch back home after he supposedly speeded it up and its exactly the same. He did nothing in the hopes that Id believe his nonsense about it needing to be serviced. Go here for watch service if you want to be taken for a ride.
Best service really honest fair pricing Ive been bringing ask my repairs there for years now
