It can be hard to find a mechanic that you can trust but I found mine. Jack took great care of me. He was super helpful and gave me a good deal on the repairs for my car. Even though I had a Ford he was still able to fix my driver side window, my transmission and check my a/c. Highly recommend using D.A Imports.

A friend referred me to DA Import Specialists. Jack is an Army vet and a 2nd generation mechanic who specializes in European vehicles, especially Mercedes Benz and BMW. He has the experience, knowledge and love of these cars that’s needed if you own a classic vehicle, or any Imported vehicle for that matter.I just acquired a MB 560sl which needed a 60,000 mile service as well as a safety inspection and repair of a heater valve - discontinued by MB. Jack gave me an estimate. He started his work and advised me on other items he discovered that needed repair. Jack had me come to his shop to visually inspect the issues and put the additional repairs in writing. Jack put in a huge effort diagnosing the problems, especially that tricky heater valve, which he resolved to perfection. Jack is a very conscientious mechanic and understands that customers do not want to pay crazy prices to keep their cherished vehicles in good order. Its hard to find a good mechanic to work on my S63 AMG, I am really happy to have met Jack and I think his service is great. I dont enjoy going to MB dealerships for service, everything is way expensive and Ive tried independent mechanics that just dont seem to do the work correctly, and they are still expensive... Im just looking for a mechanic to do the job right the first time and charge me a fair price. Good service, fair price, job done right the first time and Jack is a nice guy to do business with. Ill still need to go to the dealer for some services that independent mechanics cant do... for everything else Jack has earned my business now and in the future.

We travel full time in our MBZ Sprinter-based motorhome. While looking for an alternative to the high prices at the local MBZ dealer, we found Jack at D.A Import Specialists. This review is about a month overdue so i apologize! brought my 1986 Mercedes-Benz 560SEL in thinking it was going to be a huge repair, Jack was very friendly and made sure i knew the car would be taken care of. turned out to be shot engine mounts which were replaced super fast. Charged my battery for free, gave advice on routine maintenance, showed me some of the interesting points of the car, and just gave very reasonable and awesome service. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone who needs help with a classic MB and i will be coming back soon for a VCG. These are guys who actually care about the cars.

Stay away from this guy at all costs, the shop is empty for a reason. He does not know what he is doing. When I took my S500 in for repairs there were no fault codes after $ $4,750 of repairs the SRS light was on and he refused to fix it preferring to yell and curse at me instead. I would not send my worst enemy here.

So this time I spent an abundant amount of time asking questions, searching online, and visiting numerous shops. This helped me get a gauge on how much parts and labor costs in total. I found out about DA Import Specialists through a friend of mine a couple of years ago. I have had nothing but great service from them, which is expected, but the integrity and honesty of this business far above exceptional. My most recent experience had to do with an ignition issue. I ordered a new key from Laguna Niguel Mercedes Benz. I provided my CDL and registration, paid for the key, signed the paperwork they handed to me and left. After a week and a half of mix up my key finally came in but they wouldnt give me my key because they said they were the only ones who could program my key to work. My car was with DA Imports, they said they would not give me my key until I had it towed to them so they could verify the VIN #. I had the car towed to LN MB, they werent even going to check the VIN # but I insisted and they gave me the key. Towed my car back to DA Import Specialists and they were able to program my key - which means I was blantantly lied to by LN MB. Jack and his dad saved me hundreds and hundreds of dollars over what a dealership service department would have charged me. I am totally convinced that Jack and his dad are the best place to go with any problems you have with your BMW or MB. They have my business for life!!
