Found this place a couple of weeks ago. The name is actually Sunny Side Up - Donut Star now, and they have more than just donuts. I have been there two times in two weeks, and tried the breakfast burrito, donuts, fresh squeezed OJ, and bacon & egg breakfast that comes with potatoes. Everything I have tried so far was very good. They make their own sausages, and salsa. Also learned that they just got a crepe maker and will be serving crepes in the near future. Cant wait for that! The owner is very nice, and open to suggestions. They have both indoor & outdoor dining.

Everything is homemade here! I had the Santa Fe Breakfast Sandwich. This place was BUSY at 10am on a Sunday. But had my sandwich in 7 minutes. And it was so good. Yes, Ill be back

Had a Eggwhite Veggie Omlet and it was the best, also got a Turkey Bagel sandwich for my wife and it was awesome...

Yummy breakfast and donuts! I had the chilaquiles and my husband had a breakfast sandwich, both were delicious! We sat outside and the employees were very attentive and friendly. They even brought our pooch a treat 🙂

I had to rate this place a 5 star for their delicious power breakfast burrito but %110 is a better description of my satisfaction. Extrodinary flavor made with quality ingredients.

By far my favorite Donut/ breakfast shop around. Every Friday I buy donuts and breakfast sandwiches for my office. This place always has a full inventory and the best breakfast sandwiches around. I just found out they are doing breakfast burritos now too. I will have to check that out next time. By the way there OJ is fresh squeezed. Its Amazing, like a sweet tart. Worst place ever!!!Keep your money!Go across the street.And no! I wont!Your selection of donuts generic! What is on top of those so-called chocolate donuts I dont even know what it is but its not chocolate. You guys put in no effort!!

This place supposedly opens at 6:00am. Arrived right at open time, Waited 10 minutes they still did not open. Manager came 10 minutes late and I asked if she works there she ignored me. When she opened the door, she did not say anything didnt mention that theyre open now or apologize. Their cooler stock on beverages is below par, nothing was prepared on time. On top of that, once they did open this other lady walked in after me and was served before me while i was waiting at the counter. The Guy preparing inside that was there before her looked at me the whole time I was waiting and didnt even bother to come out and say theyre running behind or anything at all. No wave, No smile, no apology. Now they got 1 less customer.

I went today and saw a bunch of kids working. Ew. I will not be coming back i dont want something that is touching my food to be touched and put together by kids who probably didnt wash their hands. Also it doesnt matter what kind of work it is they need to be a certain age and have a work visa or at least parent permission.

Ended up getting my order completely wrong after I ended up getting all the way back home to Mission Viejo. Had to drive all the way back and they woundnt even give me a orange juice for free for the hassle!!!! Horrible customer service. I do not recommend this place. Save your money.

THIS PLACE WAS FREAKING RIDICULOUS! I was LIVID this morning and please understand I am NOT a person that is rude to servers. I truly am so nice to everyone that serves me, even if they have a slight attitude, I think hey, maybe theyre just having a bad day and tip anyways. WELL THIS PLACE IS F$%^ING TERRIBLE! I arrived there at 6:08 AM this morning, there was barely any selection and there was two men in front of me. The first order 7 donut holes and a donut, the next ordered a dozen donuts. Shouldve taken two minutes right? NOPE! The Mexican lady (shame to all hard working mexicans (I AM MEXICAN) takes 15 MINUTES TO SERVE SEVEN DONUT HOLES AND 12 DONUTS. I was SO upset at this point because I feared I was going to be late to work (25 min away) and was mad that I had already spent so much time in there that going to a different donut store would only make me even later. When it was my turn to FINALLY order, I told her 3 dozen and to please hurry because I was now running late, what does she do? She works like a fu%&ing turtle. I was so mad. I would have yelled at her if it werent for my politeness. Im going to call the owner and complain, it was THAT bad. I would NEVER recommend this place, EVER.

Great breakfast bagels, paninis, and croissants. Donuts just OK.

Im so happy they opened this place next to my house! The donuts are amazing! The paninis and croissants sandwiches are delicious and made fresh after you order not premade. My kids live the cinnamon crumble glazed and croinut and apple fritters are my favorite! Staff is very friendly and very clean!

This shop has recently changed staff and its terrible here now. The young woman is always angery. They no longer greet you with a smile. Hey woman who is always wearing a hat, smile more you might get return customers!!
