I’ve had two rentals from Friar Tux, one for my wedding and another for a post-wedding photo shoot. I had a really great experience renting an absolutely fantastic tuxedo, incredibly affordable and excellent quality.I decided to buy a green suit for the photo shoot and here’s where I ran into an issue: despite placing the order twice and even paying for it I arrived to find they did not have any knowledge of my order. After some discussion they did find that I purchased it but had no idea why my order slipped through the cracks. While this was initially frustrating, they seemed genuinely sorry and went above and beyond to make it right. They found a jacket and pants that almost fit and made alterations then and there. Afterwards they comped me a vest and belt.These sorts of mistakes do happen and thanks to their professional response I am more than happy to recommend their services. I will definitely continue to be a customer in the future!

The people were extremely friendly and helpful. The wait time was minimal (this one in Glendale was staffed sufficiently, so I did not feel like I had to wait long at all.) Everyone I worked with was knowledgeable, and offered great suggestions - they were all very polite and helped with smiles. I will return for any future needs and will recommend to others. I had never used them before (usually went to a much closer spot here in Burbank) but will use them in the future.

He is such an asset to this company and one of the many reasons why Friar Tux is the only company I recommend to my clients. The ONLY thing I would love to see is some kind of curbside drop-off concept at the Glendale location. The parking can be challenging there, and having a curb-side option in the turnabout there would be so helpful.

Octavio at Friar Tux of Glendale absolutely hooked me up, going the extra mile to make sure I had quality clothes that fit me in time for the wedding I was participating in (I found out I needed a black suit four days before the event). The entire time he met last minute challenges with aplomb, good humor, and an improvisational spirit that made me relaxed. He alleviated my stress over renting a suit completely, and I appreciate it. And, now Im down with suspenders.

I have to say. I am very impressed with the service I received from Friar Tux at Glendale location. The establishment from the inside out was very clean. All the tuxedo and suits were kept looking amazingly sharp. The other thing that really impressed me was the manger and his professionalism. His name is Juan, I have to save he went above and beyond for me. He was professional, nice, knowledgeable and always kept a smile on his face. Even with one arm in a sling. He helped me look like a million bucks. No matter what the situation was. His service was one of the best I’ve experienced for a long time. No wonder he’s the manager. The team at Friar Tux made sure that every groomsman in my brothers wedding looked fantastic. When Friar was concerned that someone was between sizes, they prepared two items one size apart to make sure that the best choice was available. When they were swamped with people (prom and tux season) they just let us take those extra pieces at no charge to make sure we had what we needed. Additionally everyone commented how good the suits looked on everyone specifically. I just wish I could have bought the one I wore!

Its a better than most tux rental shop, but yeah.. thats about all it is. I found the selection decent and the price fair. But nothing about the place knocked my socks off.

We rented a tux for our son for prom from Friar tux in Glendale. The associates were helpful and friendly. My son is a big guy and not the easiest to fit. We had a mix up on what color tie and pocket square he needed, to match his girlfriends dress. The associate happily found and swapped for the right color on the day we picked up. Friar Tux had the sizes he needed (brought in 2 jacket sizes so he could find the best fit) and made him feel/look good on prom night!We rented tuxedos for all the men in our wedding party 19 years ago, and were happy to use them again for our sons prom. Great company all around!

I am very happy with my experience with Friar Tux. I loved my suit that Friar gave me for free, and even bought a second one with your $50 deal post-rental. My groomsmen looked fantastic and I love that shoes are included in the rental. I will recommend you to all my friends.

Hands down the best tux shop in California! The staff is polite, understanding, and helpful. They’re always on top of their game and they never cease to disappoint me with my orders. Friar Tux is a great little shop to find all of your tux needs or wants. Yes it might be a little hard to find but it is very worth it. I trusted them with my wedding a few years ago and so has a few of my friends. They have a great selection of different styles and colors. They are very accommodating and very friendly service. I always recommend Friar Tux to anyone who is looking to rent a tux for any occasion.

My salesperson went the extra mile to ensure that my outfit was ready in time. The pants werent shipped as expected on the day of pickup so he arranged for a special delivery that evening so that I could pick up the pants just before closing time. This is good service.

I called two days before I was supposed to pick up my order, to see if i could have my Tux shipped to a location closer to my home. Juan was so helpful, kind and put me at ease when making this last minuet change! He provided such excellent customer service and made the changes for me so quickly. He is a lifesaver! When I came into Friar Tux Shop in Glendale for the first time they were VERY busy. They did however acknowledge my presence by saying they would be right with me. And I didnt have to wait long.The real test of their expertise came when I came back for the second fitting on the day of the event that I needed to get to. The sizes were all wrong but they assured me that they would correct them immediately. They called their store in Anaheim to deliver the right sizes and the truck came within hours.Long story short, I got to the wedding on time with a perfectly fitting tux!

Excellent service here and always an accommodating staff. Ive rented tuxes from them the past few years now. They have awesome customer service! Sometimes, though, I think the shirts/tuxes rented out might have noticeably wear on them. Nothing major, but I guess nothing beats owning our own tux. Hard for any single location to control as their tuxes are shipped to them by order. But if youve rented from them before, they have your measurement on their system for future reference, which make going back easier and less hassle.

I have been renting Tux’s from Friar Tux annually for 7 years. They have exceptional employees! They are attentive, caring and professional. I will continue to use them and recommend them to everyone who needs beautiful evening wear for all your special occasions. They have quality products but it’s the employees that make them exceptional!!!

The Glendale Friar Tux went above and beyond in their service. I had a near disaster when my brides-man could not make it 6 days before the wedding and we thought we lost out on a tux rental. Thankfully they were happy to accommodate my younger brother and get him a few sizes just to make sure it fit. The quality of the suits were impeccable and I am beyond happy with the experience overall.

A friend of mine is getting married, and to avoid having to have all the groomsmen buy a suit, he is opting for a rental. Since the bridesmaids all match, it would look best if all the groomsmen matched, so we are renting a suit.We walked in, we were helped immediately, at least to let us know that they were busy with another couple that had walked in before us and would be with us next. Once we started the process, it was pretty painless.They only have samples of their black tuxedos onsite for help with measurements, so the final fit may change, but the timeline is set to help with final fittings and adjustments.I cant speak for the final fitting of the suit, since they have to order it from their warehouse, but as far as customer help and available styles, it was easy.

I got a great price on renting a tux for a night but what made this place rank higher than any before was the excellent customer service. Knowledgeable, helpful, and extremely friendly, this is a great store with great people! I cant remember the names of the guys who helped me out but the were working on December 30th, 31st and January 2nd. The managers of the store should definitely thank them for their hard work.

Celebrating my birthday this year I gave myself a party at a famous, Japanese Restaurant, Yamashiros. Located here in LALA land and made everyone wear formal dress. Tux for the men and gowns for the women.

When I go to Friar tux, its usually for getting a new suit for a party. Unfortunately, I had to go, not because of a party, but a funeral. I was in need of a bigger pants size and Octavio was the person who helped me out in getting the pants in such a short time. I dont live close to this Friar Tux, but I am loyal to this one.

Bad service! Order a different size and I never arrive. Apparently they did not pay attention to me. I arrived 3 days in a row and I lost my time. I asked to speak with the manager and I never could. I do not recommend it.
