This should be on your list of stops in olowalu. Great variety of local fruits, baked items and dry/candied items. Their fresh coconut water beats the juice next door. Theres limited parking outfront but it suffices on normal days when there isnt heavy traffic.

Stopped here for a cheeky Spam masubi snack and ended up getting the daily special, which were beef cheek tacos. They were legit some of the tastiest tacos Ive ever had. The place looks a bit dodgy but its one of the best food decisions you can make to order up a feed.

Always a must stop on the way to Lahaina we used to stop for red hotdogs and drinks, now they have Mexican food as well as local favorites like shave ice...plus gifts and more not sure if they have new owners or new management but there’s been changes lately. I ordered the shrimp plate it was really good!

Open when other places arent. Great selection, especially when it comes to the stuff they make themselves. Yummy omelet to go, AMAZING mango bread... but do NOT sleep on their homemade furikaki chex mix. Theyve invented something magical with that mix. Also, theyre funny. Made me laugh each time I went in. Aloha!!

Great selection of hawaiian snacks (I bought some Li Hing Mui strawberry belts- yum!) and prepared foods! The spam masubi was 5 stars. The prices were more than fair and a it’s great place to buy some last minute souvenirs for a good price.

We loved the shave ice and the vibe of this general store. The shave ice was HUGE!! And the young man helping us was quirky, yet helpful. He truly enhanced our visit. We went her about 18 months ago as a family and still talk about the amazing shave ice.

Make sure cashier doesn’t keep your debit/credit card. I walked away and he had my card in his hand and my boyfriend saw him trying to hide it, when I turned around and realized I didn’t have my card, I asked for it and he slowly gave me back my card. He was rude and annoyed. I would of thought having people in there buying stuff would be good for business...

Absolutely loved this place. We traveled here from the camp down the road with 15 high-schoolers and even though the shave ice maker-man had a family emergency one of the other tellers stepped up and even with a partially broken hand- made all of our kids shave ice. We will forever remember Olawalu Store for it! ❤🤙🥰

Very friendly folks. An easy stop for water, souvenirs, cards, etc. One day they were (inexplicably) closed in the middle of the day, with no sign, so everyone was really confused. The next day, they were open again.

Wish knew more about how warn people how bad a place is. My wife and I stopped in with our 3 grandkids to get boiled peanuts and souvenirs at 130p today(8/04/18). I had to use the bathroom and asked a young man 15-20 something if they had a bathroom. He started laughing (I think he was stoned) and laid his head face down on the counter for maybe 10 seconds then slowly raised his head back up and just stared at me. After a moment he said your about the 100th person to ask me that today. Then he just stared at me until I finally asked him well what is the answer .He said go out the door toward the blue sign and make a left. There was no blue sign outside but a restaurant next door had one. Kid did the same thing to my wife while I was next door. If the kid is not family he should fired. If he is, I hope his parents are old fashion and they see this post.larry jonesriverside ca.
