Darn shame, I have been recommending this company to family, friends and coworkers for their impressive selection of accessories. I am all about supporting local and while I could get parts a little cheaper on line wanted to keep my business in the area. I needed a new rail to work with a suppressor on an existing upper and being busy with work I did not want to take the time to install it myself. I purchased a rail and left two uppers to have threaded flash hiders installed. There was a wait so I left the work to be done, leaving my phone number to let me know when my things were ready. After receiving my uppers noticed the threads on the flash hider were covered by the new rail preventing me from mounting anything. Obviously, I should have researched better but I would think that the experts would be able to help direct me in the right direction. I also found that all the accessories ($60 value) were not included with the box. I retuned this morning to try to find a solution and was informed that I would not be offered any return option (no refund, not even with restock fee) because the rail was now considered “used” and an “open box”. The only option offered to correct the issue was for me to purchase another new rail and have that installed. Lastly, I had to ask for my accessories which were conveniently behind the work area. if anyone has any interest in accessories, I would recommend amazon or online because at least there you will have an option to return the items if they aren’t what you needed and since you will not be getting any direction or advice in your selection that will help you from making a mistake with your purchase. I will now be informing everyone of what they can expect and recommending they spend their money and time elsewhere.(Edit, after further research the 10 rail is actually 10.5. maybe if the sales associate had product knowledge and sold a true 10 rail there might not have been a problem at all...)

This business is LOCALLY & VETERAN owned. If that doesnt make you want to spend your money there, just pay them a visit. The girls in the front are extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. If they dont have what you are looking for, they will do their best to help you find it. The environment and the hospitality is on point. Wouldnt spend my money anywhere else!!

Ever heard the term, “you get what you paid for”? Well at DTS you do. They are fine and honest people who price their products according to their value and don’t rip you off. Their service is absolutely unbeatable with no room for improvement. This shop is designed for the highest of highest experienced shooter but also for the lowest of newly amateur who wants to ask the simplest questions and learn about our 2nd amendment. Wish there were a higher rating than 5 stars. I bought a XDS there a long time ago and soon will be buying a revolver. Just happened to come to their website and remember I never left a review!

Hands down by the far the best gun shop around! It is very rare that DTS wont have what you need and if they dont they usually can order it depending on what it is. Great employees who all know their stuff about guns and very professional!! Only place I want to buy anything gun related!

Hands down the best Firearm shop in the Lake Charles/Moss Bluff area!! Absolutely Love the staff and feel they are more like personal friends than just random gun store acquaintances. The owners have always been friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and just down right good people! I live in Deridder LA and while there is one shop about 5 mins from my house, I will gladly drive 45 mins further to go to DTS tactical. In my experience they have always been fairly priced and know how to make their customers feel comfortable and welcome in their shop and I am happy to give them my business when Im in the market for anything firearm related. I highly recommend them if you are in the market for anything firearm or fishing related!!

Really nice people running this place. Went in asking for help with a jammed pin and Doc the gunsmith hooked us up. Not only replacing the spring for free but also tightening the castle nut and touching up some scratches on the paint. Definitely a good place to go for all your sporting rifle needs

Ive bought several firearms from Doc and his wife. I live in Moss Bluff always try to stop in Moss bluff. They make it easy with their competitors prices. I also buy my ammo and gear from them. They are always nice and friendly. Being a veteran myself I also like doing business with another vet. Folks, theres no reason to look anywhere else. I always check prices and they have the best.

Docs customer service FAR exceeds any other gun shop in southwest Louisiana. There prices are the best in town. I will continue to do all my business with DTS tactical now and in the future.

The best in the area, I was actually referred here by another gun store. Their stock is fairly cheap, and the staff are well mannered. The shop is pretty small but has a decent selection, and if there is something they dont have Im sure they are ready to order it for you.

Great little gun store. They have an excellent selection of AR rifle lowers and accessories. Its nice to be able to put your hands on something before you buy it. Hard to do that online.Their pricing on new and used guns is on par with other good stores, and lower than a lot of others. The owners are knowledgeable and friendly. The gun selection is decent for a store this size. Several long guns, shotguns, and pistols are always on display. Occasionally you will see a consignment gun on the shelf too.FFL transfers are only $20 here too. Ive used this store many times for online firearms purchases by having them shipped to the store. Too many FFLs charge $40 or more for this fee.

The best place to go. Had my AR that was built by Doc over 2 years ago at the old Derrider store, updated with a better rail and barrel today. And walked out with a new 6.5CM monster that I cant wait to take to the range. If Its pistols, accessories, upgrades, pre-built uppers and weapons, or custom to you AR platform weapons, DTS is the place to go! And now they have fishing rods and reels! I needed 2 holsters and a hard long gun case. They didnt have exactly what I wanted so they ordered it and I was able to pick everything up within the week. They keep the ammo I use in stock. Its a small place, but they can get what you need.
