Ive been going to paper heroes for 11 years now, and Ive never been disappointed. Kevin is the nicest guy and hes always willing to help you find what youre looking for. Theres a huge selection of miniature wargaming, boardgames, rpgs, comic books, tcgs, and figurines. I will continue to support Kevin and paper heroes for the inforeeable future.

Really liked this place! They had a great selection of yugioh, Pokémon and magic cards. They also had a bunch of other things from different games. Will definitely come back this place when I go back to Lake Charles

Pretty awesome place. Acquired some sleeves as well as some Top Loader cases. Stocked up on a few Dunsparce cards as well as a reverse foil one. All in all very happy and plan to drop by again

The owner does his best to keep all items in stock. When something is not in stock he is always very informative and helpful or will order specific comics if able.Small yet welcoming and cozy space. Great for hosting DnD or similar campaigns!

Great variety of comics, toys, games, and movie memorabilia esp for a small store in Lake Charles. Bought an Infinity Gauntlet today. Kevin, the owner was quite helpful and let me take it for a test drive before purchasing. Sadly half his customers were vaporized during the experiment but he himself survived and completed the sale. Been going to the place for years now and the prices never fail, I find it hard to beat them even when matching online as the owner is always willing to work with you on getting the most bang for your buck be it TCG, Wargaming, models, figures, and so much more! Honestly a pretty great place.

I really loved this place. The owner was really cool - just chatted with me about comics, Kevin Smith movies, etc. for a good 30-45min. He really helped me figure out the exact trade paperback I was looking for in the Infinity Gauntlet saga. He also gave me a sweet deal on an old X-men wall comic. You know that feeling of getting sized up when you enter a new comic shop? Like theyre thinking, I bet my Magic deck is bigger than this guys. You didnt get that vibe here. Great comic book shop!

Every time I have been there he has been very friendly and helpful. I have been looking for a place to buy basketball cards other then Walmart. I can find things there that I cant find anywhere else. Awesome guy.

Super helpful. I called to ask about a not so popular comic Turok. They had a couple but not what I wanted but the man instantly found any comic they had. He was so quick. I love this place. Haven’t been a lot recently since moving an hour away but will be coming and visiting soon again.

I drive over an hour each month just to go to this shop. Kevin has had my pull list for over 10 years now, and he never fails to deliver. There’s always something new in the store, like statues, new comics, recently acquired Bronze and Silver gems, and used DVDs. There’s also Warhammer and Magic the Gathering supplies, plus model kits of all varieties. And TONS on sports memorabilia. Really worth a visit.

Me and my husband come here about once every two weeks to get our comic books. We absolutely love this place. So friendly and inviting when you walk in. This place also have up to date comics and DVDs for $2.00 to $4.00 dollars a piece and they are new and with no scratches. I recommend this place to everyone! Awesome hobby store too!

Ive been going to Paper Heroes for 3 years now and I have yet to have a bad experience. Kevin is a great store owner and always goes out of his way to help you out. The shop is cozy and there are many different collectibles to browse through, which are constantly being restocked or replaced with new additions. There have been multiple occasions where I was looking for something that he didnt have, but he ordered it and I was able to pick it up at the store. This is a great place to go even if you are just starting to collect.

Good comic and gaming shop - seems to be a bit more weighted to gaming; tabletop and card gaming. They have a very large selection of warhammer and warhammer 40K, they also have DnD and reaper miniatures, along with star wars, though the selection was not as varied.They had a very large selection of tabletop games, all the staples (Dungeons and Dragons, etc.,) along with a very large number of games that the casual gamer may never have heard of. I saw many releases of magic the gathering among others.They had miniature painting supplies and paints, and everything needed for your miniature needs.The shop seemed to be very popular, with several tables gaming each time I have visited. Overall, a good little shop.

Nice little card shop with a good selection of sports cards, probably more geared to Magic/SciFi but respectable prices, friendly staff, easy location to get to. I picked up a hobby box and had some pretty good hits in it.

Staff was friendly and if youre into models, they have a lot of paint options. However, things could use some reorganizing.

This place is just awesome. The owner is very nice and helpful, the prices arent ridiculous like most shops and it even has an Otaku club and it holds tournaments for yugioh. If youre in the area, this place is definitely worth checking out.
