The best four hours we had while visiting Lake Charles. With two teenage boys we were looking for something to do as a family. Renting the pontoon was an excellent choice. Jojoe was super friendly booking it for us and gave thorough pontoon instructions when we met at the dock. It was really neat to explore the lakes and bridges through the waterways.

Tucker is a great teacher!He allows you to get confortable in the water. Hes very knowledgeable about techniques and tips. He pays close attention to guide you in the right direction.Thank you Tucker!!!Looking forward to more lessons 🙂🙂

He went above and beyond!We did have a delay/hiccup getting the boat started, but after an hour and a half, we were finally on our way!Fortunately, the weather was perfect, and the scenery was nice. Rented the 18 pontoon for my family, my son just graduated and with everything going on we decided not to have a gathering, fishing and relaxing on the water seems like a great idea... Guess what, It was! We had a great time it was the kiddos first experience on a boat and to make it even better the staff was amazing very kind and their patience was great they helped us load on and was their to help us get off... We have already decided that we will be getting back on the water in the future with this company. Thanks for making our experience even more the better with your kindness and being so helpful.

I highly recommend Lake Area Adventures for swim lessons. Our instructor is Samantha, she truly cares about teaching my 5 year old son how to swim. He went from scared of the water to asking me when his next swim lesson was. She’s taught him a life skill that can potentially save his life. I can’t thank you enough.

Did a wonderful 2 hour tour with Captain Joejoe today starting at Prien Lake Park. We enjoyed a wonderful adventure around Prien lake and contraband bayou. Captain Joejoe was such an awesome captain and gave us a phenomenal tour of the area. She is so fun and we had a wonderful relaxing time. Can’t wait for our next adventure, where we plan to head north of the i-10 bridge to the Calcasieu river! Thank you Captain Joejoe and Lake Area Adventures! We will be back!

They have been hit hard by hurricane Laura. They were able to still get my gear ready for my trip. Great place to do business with.

My family and I were interested in renting an 18 foot Pontoon from Lake Area Adventures. I received two different prices from the representatives..one who advised their website is not updated. I was referred to manager Tim...as a consumer I explained the difference in the prices were not reflected on line. Tim advised he did not have to disclose that information online, got very rude, mentioned this is not a bait and switch and was very very unprofessional. We have never experienced customer service like this and have rented several boats from different establishments before. I would pay double his price to his competition before I would rent from him. Customer service beats price 1000% of the time.

Rented the 18 boat for 4hrs and brought the family out. I have boating experience but the kids have never been before and they had a blast! Went to the casino beach, did some fishing and made memories. Ran into a lil difficulties in which the owner Rhoda was there for support via phone. Defiantly doing it again but, will rent it for 8hrs instead. My FB friends were un aware of this place and didnt know you could rent a boat in LC. May be somebody will go have with me next time lol.

We are experienced kayakers and decided to take a trip during a visit to Lake Charles. Our guide, Kaymn, was very good, laid back, and easy going. He was very knowledgeable in the area and knew what he was doing. They have a couple different areas to go to. One is for beginners and the other is for more experienced kayakers. We did the more experienced tour, and the scenery was awesome, although we didnt get to see any gators, but there were plenty of fish and birds. I highly recommend this company for kayaking in Lake Charles!!

Used the Pontoon Boat to tour some of the new Project sites going in and around Lake Charles from water side. It was perfect for our company. Chris at Redneck was very helpful moving the boat from various ramps so did not need to try to accomplish all from water. He was on time for delivery and pick up. Boat was in great condition. Ill be back to use it for fishing with my Dad soon.

Really enjoyed the day with the family. They have great boats. We had the 21 and had plenty of room with 9 people on it. Will defiantly go back again. Keep up the great work.

My family and I rented a boat from Redneck Yacht Rentals for the day on July 5, 2014. Chris, the owner, was amazing and very helpful! We had never been to Lake Charles, LA before and he was more than willing to answer any questions we had about the area. We will definitely use Redneck Yacht Rentals again when were back in Lake Charles. We would highly recommend his services to anyone wanting to rent a boat in or around the Lake Charles area.

We had an incredible experience with Redneck Yacht Rentals. Being from Houston and being totally unexperienced with boats, we were very unsure of which rental company to use.We rented a Party Barge from Chris at Redneck Yacht Rentals for a reasonable price for a full day rental.We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived with the level of customer service we received. The boat was in perfect working condition and came with life vests (even for my 8 year old).Chris patiently took the time to provide us with a detailed map, explain everything about the boat and how to use it, safety tips, and general dos and donts.After 4 hours of fun and fishing, the weather unfortunately took a turn for the worse - with extreme rain and lightning. We called Redneck Yacht Rentals and Chris promptly returned to take the boat back. He surprised us by offering to take off $75 of our rental charge without us even asking. I was very impressed by this as Chris obviously cant control the weather. :-)We will definitely be using Redneck Yacht Rentals again!!!

Rented the Bass Buggy (8 people max.) for 4th of July (9am to 5pm) had an absolute blast. Chris was professional, and courteous. He made confirmation with me TWICE, a week before our rental date and the night before!!!!! Chris & his wife were at Prien Lake Park at 8:30am with the boat in the water ready to go. We arrrived at 8:45am, we were given basic safety instructions etc.... At 9:05 am we were OFF!!! The boat was clean, in great shape, and everything worked. It was FANTASTIC!!!! Best way to own a boat is to just RENT it from Chris.THANKS CHRIS, REDNECK BOAT RENTALS IS THE BEST!!!!

We rented an 18 pontoon boat from them and the boat was in pretty bad condition... Most of the seats were ripped and taped up, it was all banged up on the outside, the seats were in the worst possible spots and the steering stop working on us a few times! The lady also said the starter acted up in it. Not a good first impression... They brought it to the 210 Prien Lake boat ramp and its a dangerous spot for boats... Especially when the steering stops working! We were almost ran over by a few of the barges carrying chemicals because we couldnt move the boat out of the way! Not worth $200 for 4hrs when your life is put in danger and the boat is in bad shape!
