I went in and bought hair dye and I already had blonde hair so there was no need to bleach. I followed every single instruction for the hair dye. I waited over an hour actually. I wasted about 30$ on hair dye that didn’t even dye my hair. Not one single piece of hair was dyed, and so I had a mental breakdown and cut off all my hair. Now I look like howie mandel ngl.. also I even asked the ladies at the front when checking out what the difference was and they said it would dye my hair fine. Which was a lie because it didn’t do anything to my hair at all.

The staff was very helpful and had everything I was looking for. 😁

I left my 5-star review over 3 years ago and now Im leaving my one-star review based upon the performance of an associate during my attempted lawful exchange today. I purchased some hair color about two weeks ago (was NOT happy at all with results) I unfortunately misplaced the receipt but do have my online record of purchase because Im a Sallys beauty rewards member, I mentioned this during checkout to the kindest associate that helped me last night while I was purchasing toner right before closing time that I was unhappy with a previous purchase but couldnt find the reciept, they told me I could make an exchange without a receipt, so I went home and returned the next day with my product to exchange and was greeted by another associate who told me that this specific Sallys location does not accept any exchanges without a receipt due to the managers instructions...but that she would make an exception this one time...I recited Sallys beauty love it or leave guarantee and again she told me the manager doesnt allow it but she would make an exception....I was furious....I have spent over $300 at least over the last few months and I simply wanted them to honor their return policy and let me exchange for the proper permanent color...without griefI absolutely called corporate....BECAUSE as todays unhelpful Sallys associate mentioned that the previous employee that gave correct return policy information the night prior was going to get in trouble and that they shouldnt have said that and she was gonna call the manager asap to let them know that the previous associate had supposedly wrongfully advised me. Corporate said theyd contact district manager...I hope they do...I decided not 2 give this Sallys Beauty Store location anymore business and went to the nearest location in Menifee. Where the store associate was more than willing to accept my exchange without a receipt because it was within the limitations of the return policy.I really hope that the nice associate that helped me the night before doesnt get in trouble and that theres no retaliation taken upon that associate because of my complaint to corporate due to todays different associate who had a very rude and unhelpful attitude....

The ladies know what there talking about! I would like to publicly thank the entire staff for their knowledgeable advice. I have very textured naturally curly hair that was box black, theyve helped me get to blonde safely in a short time by recommending the proper products. I love Sallys and will now on always go there for any and all of my hair care needs.

Other than being out of everything i really needed id say overall very helpful staff and fair prices

They do not carry black hair care products and do not know what they are doing. I asked for curl activator and they gave me products that would have taken my hair out. Do not bother going there if you are black.
