(Review in Progress)My Background: Looking to upgrade my families boat to a new MB Surf Boat (Also looking at ATX, Malibu, Tige, Axis, Moomba). California Skier is the 4th dealership I have dealt with over the past two months, in my pursuit to find the best Surf Boat under 100k range.Location: California Skier is 2 minutes from Lake Elsinore. They have a huge lot which looks like it stores boats and does service. They have a huge pro shop with one of the BEST selection of Surf Boards, Wakeboards, Life Jackets, that I have seen from all dealerships I have visited. They have 2020 Wakesurf Board that are sold out everywhere in stock, very impressed at what a hidden gem they are. They sell Mastercraft, MB and some other boats as well.Customer Service Experience: I have been dealing with Mike Cardoni at California Skier. On my first phone call, he literally will talk your ear off because you get the feeling he loves what he does, selling you a boat. I was interested in the MB Boats, so he went heavily into the rich history of the MB boat lines (Mike Brendel, the owner of MB). When I first visited their shop, Mike spent a good two hours with me allowing me to clime all over their boats while he answered any questions I had, never once making me feel rushed. We set up a time for me to return with my wife to do a Demo of the F22 Alpha I was interested in. Out of all 4 dealerships, this was the only one that right off the bat offered me a demo, the other 3 dealers were hesitant even talking about nor offering a demo.Demo Experience: We returned on Mikes DAY OFF, and he was willing to spend as much time as we wanted while the business was closed, on his day off to demo the boat. We spent a good hour on the boat, learned the basics of the MB Boat line. Issue #1 . . . the front ballast bag had a tear, pouring water into the engine bay, adding way too much weight to the rear of the boat, could not demo the boat to its potential to see its surf waves, but I did see that MB boats have a GREAT WAKEBOARD WAKE! It is not Mikes fault, accidents happen. He immediately felt bad, I could see it in his face, and he immediately offered me to come back out and try the demo again, and offered to bring two boats so I can properly compare and contrast two different models (F22 vs B52). That is what I call customer service!!!Conclusion: This is a preliminary review, which I will continue once I have completed my boat shopping experience, but Mike Cardoni and California Skiers dedication to do what was needed to make a sale, makes them # 1 on my list of Boat Sellers in Southern California.

Gold service and attitude. Mike sat with me in a boat back during the Elsinore fires. Provided a lot of information and just spent time like we were on the lake. I did not pull the trigger. Few more years of shopping i decide to inquire about a new MB on the lot. Mike responds. Spent a few hours with Ben on a demo. Great time. And walah we have made a deal. Thanks Mike and Ben. We go to lake Havasu all the time and I do have a boat it is an MB 52.

California Skier is the place I purchased my Mastercraft Prostar 205 wakeboard boat back when this dealer was located in Riverside. When I asked a friend where I can find an XL pair of wakeboard bindings, she suggested California Skier. Ben, the Pro Shop manager had three different styles and I finally selected the Hyperlite Sessions. The selection was good and I feel I got a good deal. I am currently enjoying my fifth MasterCraft boat since 2005, a 2015 ProStar. I love the boat as do my friends, previously i have owned three X-2’s and an X-9. My ProStar is rock solid and my friends enjoy skiing behind it as much as I do. What probably isn’t as obvious is the dealership and people that stand behind the sale of the boats. The people at California Skier are family to me now; Cheryl, Mike, Jim, and Chuck are so comfortable and easy to deal with, I would never consider buying a boat anywhere else. I know I will be treated fairly and with respect. I know I can call on any one of them if I have any questions. They always respond quickly. And while I have purchased five boats from California Skier they have also sold several of my used boats for excellent prices. I would strongly recommend California Skier to my friends.

Stopped in randomly looking for wakeboard bindings, gentleman who helped me was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the product. Nice to randomly run into a well-run business with good staff and fair prices.
