We first discovered American Louvered Roofs by way of a mailer and then met with their salesman, Craig and got to see demo versions of their product line. We then got a chance to see the products in action again at one of our local home shows. After much consultation, we went with the Equinox product and have not been disappointed! Were constantly getting compliments from guest. Its a beautiful patio roof and gives us exactly what we were after; sun when we want it open, shade when we want it closed and most importantly, a dry place to relax on our patio when its raining. It stays completely dry! Although we initially had some minor hiccups with design and installation, Kelly and company didnt stop working on it until all was right. The company was great to work with and I highly recommend their services and the Equinox product.

I had an American Louvered Roof installed on my upper deck over a year ago. I love it! This is a small business and the owner is first class. The roof is solid, functional and very attractive. When there were hick-ups they responded right away to make things right. Ive had other pergola-type covers but this is far superior. For one thing, if I choose, I can have sun and see the sky. But if its too hot or raining I have water-tight covering with just the press of a button. They even gave me some extra screws to use later for hanging hummingbird feeders or whatever from the frame (small thing, but I appreciated the kindness and was glad to have the right kind without having to run around for them). If I had it to do over again I would skip the gutter since mine is on the second floor and difficult/dangerous for me to clean out. I highly recommend this product and business.

I used one of their patio covers outside off of my garage to create a flexible covered space for my barbecue. Everyone at American Louvered Roofs was easy to work with and the finished product worked just like I wanted.

We love our Louvered Roof system. It provides the best of both worlds, cover in the rain, sun or shade to the level we want in the summer, and heat for cool days or evenings.
