Nick Smithee is a true artist and professional. Reasonable, great line work. Takes pride in his quality of work. Highly recommend him. Little skin irritation and my favorite tat by far is his. Celtic cross and skulls is Nicks work. Also heart, arrow, with initials. Not going anywhere else for tattoos!

Came in today as a walk-in just to get my ears pierced and they were very accommodating! Ven was super sweet & went over everything with me in detail, from piercing procedure to cleansing. I was very concerned due to the fact that I have had my ears pierced 8 different times when I was a child and they always got really badly infected & closed up. He made sure they were even and they were on a place where my cheek bones didn’t cover them from being noticed. I am very pleased with Ven’s service and professionalism. He made sure I was comfortable and was very nice! Very affordable & SO CLEAN also and I definitely recommend Ven!!! Thank you so much, dude!

Took my mom in to get her ears repierced. Everyone in the shop was super friendly and great to work with. Kyle did the piercings, and he was so knowledgeable and careful. He made my mom feel right at home and ensured that his work was perfect. The layout of the shop is awesome and everything there is squeaky clean. So glad we stopped in here and met Kyle and the rest of the staff!

I like True at Heart. Michael is a good guy and a good artist. Tyler is both a good artist and an excellent body piercer. I will be visiting again. A laid back shop with good artists. I have visited a few shops in the area. True at Heart is my favorite.

I got a tattoo by Nick and I really love it. The design was original and drawn right there for me and the work was perfect. Clean lines great color.

You wont find anyone better or with more experience for the price.. his lines and shading are Immaculate and he exceeds all expectations including your own expectation. I had my nose pierced here by Kyle and it was a great experience. Hes a super nice guy, you and tell he really cares about customer satisfaction and he was friendly towards my toddler sidekick that goes everywhere with me. The shop is clean and everyone was friendly

Nicks a good artists, he really knows what hes doing with that tattoo gun. Ive gotten so many compliments from customers from my store about my tattoo which he had done, even my coworkers have complimented me. Go to Nick, give him a good tip, he deserves it

True At Heart is the best shop in OC. They have multiple locations which is convenient, all of the locations have great artists. They are fairly priced with top notch artist at every location. I personally go to Jon Deanda (owner) which he will go to any shop in the area to tattoo you which is nice. I also go to Vance Freeman (Capo beach location) . These guys do great work and are super cool to chat with which is good because I do long sessions frequently. Check them out Im sure you will be happy with either of them or any of the other artists.

Kyle pierced my daughters ears and he was awesome... Very nice and made us feel comfortable .

Mike does good work but he does it the way he wants to and doesn’t listen to what is important to you. He has serious tatitude. I waited for traditional Japanese koi sleeve to heal then went to another artist to finish it. Mike thought it was done but it was sitting at 80%. Luckily his lines and art were good so it was easy for the better artist to finish it out more to the way I asked for from the beginning. I expected better for his hourly rate. Sometimes you don’t get what you pay for.

I recommend this place to everyone I know that’s interested in getting tattooed. I’ve had most of my body covered by the owner Jon Deanda, and I’ve always been blown away by his work. I’ve been getting tattooed here for about 5 years and I’d never go anywhere else.

It’s the best board shop ever, great prices and the cashier was really nice, also great wheels the no name brand wheels are the best, they have great pop, the one weird thing though was that the cashier said his name Devon but the receipt said his name was Jonathan

Wanted to get my old tattoo covered up, Talk with Brian at the shop. I Showed him what I wanted and I knew it would be a hard cover up..Brian looked at it and said it would be tuff to do, but he said it could be done..All I can say is..Great job on cover up..Brian did a great job..The great part of it, it doesnt look like a cover up....So I will be back ..If your looking for a clean tattoo then Brian is your guy...Thx Again Brian..

Hey guys, you might want to change your sign in the window. It shows you open at 12. This is the second time Ive been by after 12 and you havent been open. Decided to check Google Maps and it says you dont open until 2. My husband has also left a couple of phone messages and nobody returned his calls.

I’ve had several done here and they are clean professional and very friendly.

I have had two very different experiences. Ill start with the positive... I got a piercing here by Kyle. He was amazing. Very professional and skilled. Would not even pierce me if I wasnt sure I wanted it because he said he did not like to leave unnecessary scars on people. I was impressed. It was the smootest and cleanest piercing I have have. I give him 5+. Would not recommend anyone else in O.C. for piercing.My tattoo experience was the opposite. 1 out of 5. I came in w my friend. I asked for a two word tat. And she wanted a simple cross. The artist Jason was pushy and didnt listen to my suggestions. But it was our first tattoos so we just went w it. The results were bad. No one could read my tattoo. It was supposed to say Just Live but ended up looking like fist live. This has become my new hash tag. Everyone teases me about it. Im chill about it but I wanted a nice tattoo not a joke. My friends was crooked and asymmetric. After a long talk w the owner, I worked out a good compensation... Another friend of mine got a free tattoo by Jon, which turned out amazing. I was informed Jason no longer works there. So at the end the experience at the shop was fine. All the other artists seemed professional and good. I would return in future. And I guess I have a good story to tell now. But Kyles attitude and professionalism is the only reason my friend and I werent completely pissed and why I even bothered returning. Even when i came back, Kyle greeted me at the door and asked how my tattoo was doing, even though he was not involved in the situation.
