I have a 20 year old outdoor dining set from Fortunoff Backyard Store which is still looking beautiful after all this time. Unfortunately one of the chairs was damaged in a storm and needed to be replaced. Found out my set was discontinued but the salesman was very helpful and knowledgeable and helped me choose a chair that blends in well with my set. Ordered on a Friday and ready for pick up four days later. Very satisfied.

Was very happy with salesman that helped me. He provided excellent advice and followed up with a phone call to confirm order. Jordan was wonderful.

Went to store to order patio furniture we looked at last week. We saw the salesman Carl, who unbeknownst to us was off that day but came in to check on his other customers orders. His status or being off that day did not deter him from treating us with courtesy and finalizing our purchase. He is a true professional not only to us but to ALL his customers. Bravo CARL!!!!

WORST retail experience ever!! I came in to purchase an outdoor dining set in March. Bought something on the spot because I was told it would be available April 18th (I wanted a different one but was told it wouldnt be available until July). It was definitely not cheap either ($3,200). April 18th comes and I call the store for an update, they say that the table is backordered to May and they didnt call to inform me because the sales person that we ordered from is no longer in that store. I asked to be contacted if there were to be any more delays, and the manager said yes. I called back early May for an update and they scheduled my delivery for May 20th and informed me that I would be contacted May 19th with a delivery time. I received a confirmation email with this date. I called May 19th and was told there was no delivery scheduled for me for May 20th. I even spoke to the same associate that scheduled the delivery and she denied ever speaking with me (I knew it was her because I was told there was only one female in that store). At this time, the manager had no explanation as to how I was scheduled a delivery and he said it was now on backorder until July (again he had no excuse as to why he didnt call me with this update). However, he said although it says July he didnt really believe that because production had not even begun. I asked why there wasnt communication with the manufacturer and he said he would call them. He called, and informed me that the manufacturer said they are not sure when (or even if!) production would begin. At this time, the manager advised I just cancel the order because he had no faith I would ever receive this table. I wish I had not spent months waiting for it, as at this time (May) everything is now sold out for the season. Worst customer service experience and I will never be shopping there again.

Very nice staff Nadia and Bill were fantastic, I suggest making an appointment. It was clearly seen that “Karen’s” were impatient and rude when they didn’t get served right away.

Tom was excellent and very patient as I took my time looking through the Christmas ornaments and Christmas trees. Very nice sales person would highly recommend this store.

Simply put they did the right thing. Great company plus great stuff. In New York you wont find the quality and thickness of aluminum cast like they have especially if you want it to last 30 years or better. I have checked 5 different stores nobody beats fortunoff.

Beware when buying outdoor furniture from Fortunoff. I bought, supposedly, the number one selling dining set from Fortunoff, paid over $5000 and the finish has worn after 3 years! They have inferior vendors and the furniture won’t last a day after the warranty!

Terrible customer service. All I wanted was the $89 umbrella which was in stock according to the website. They had 3 on the wall as displays but would not sell me one. They said it can be ordered and delivered in a couple of weeks. The only alternative was a $200 model that looked the same. Don’t go. Bait and switch.

Went in to browse for backyard furniture. My wife and I were pleasantly greeted by Carole. After a few minutes we found a sectional perfect for our yard. This is where Carole kicked in her expertise. Showing us all the buying options, and the current Memorial Day sale prices. Carole assisted with coordinating color schemes to our existing furniture. The whole buying process was excellent. Great experience for us at this location. Ask for Carole .

Got the best possible customer service from Connie who is the manager at Fortune off backyard store in Lake Grove NYC. Nadia helped us place the order. Thank you Connie and Nadia!! We have been Fortune off customers for over a decade and can’t say enough good things about their products and customer service!

Quality of the furniture is great. Will need to see how the cushions are before I can rate any higher as they are on backorder. We had several issues when we first purchased the set; not with the product itself, but with the salesperson. She wasnt nasty, just made my husband and I feel we were being rushed. I contacted Fortunoffs and within 5 minutes, I received a call from Anthony who was able to resolve our issues thoroughly. His response time was amazing. He even waived the shipping and upgraded the umbrella. The following day, I received a second call from Carol to ensure Anthony was able to resolve my issues and to make sure everything went smoothly. Although Fortunoffs prices are on the higher end, I will continue to shop there knowing someone will respond when or if there is a problem.

Bought a nice table/chair set and one of the large arch umbrellas.So far everything has held up great, umbrella has an issue currently but they are in process of fixing.Carol was our sales rep she was helpful and very knowledgeable last year when we purchased.Only reason for 4 stars is I feel they are a little more expensive than they need to be.

They were so helpful. I needed all new Xmas decorations for my tree, and I was able to grab everything I need! And under a hour!

It’s unfortunate that you can’t order parts for broken chairs from home. I went to store first time and no one could help me because it was a holiday weekend. Granted they called me 2 days later and said they can order it but now I have to go back to store again on my day off to order. Without this issue everything was fine.

I like quality stuff. Their items are definitely high quality. But their price is literally 2.5-4x higher than visually identical online items. This was even during a supposed sale where everything in the store is 25-65% off?! Im seeing similar patio seating areas online at Wayfair, Birchlane, ect for $1800 and here its on sale for over 5000 for what looks to be the same thing! I dont mind paying extra for better, but these prices are unjustifiably high.

Extensive and robust selection of outdoor furniture. High quality for the most part. Sales person was very helpful and parking is no problem. However, thier prices seem to be on the extreme side of high, in my opinion.

Talk about a place that has gone down hill... this used to be one of the premiere locations for outdoor supplies and summer fun. Now its an outdated dinosaur from retail past. Stuffy hard sell sales people ready to pounce on the next unlucky customer. Super expensive merchandise that doesnt even compare quality wise to most other locations elsewhere. Just a place that has not kept up with the times. Gave it a whirl... Wont be surprised to see it gone soon.

We order an outside dining set from fortunoff. We recieved our table, but the umbrella was on back order. So we had to wait a few more weeks which we were okay with. We come home and an umbrella was left on my patio, it was red, the color of my dining set is blue. I called on Monday and they offered to give me the floor model with no discount off my orginal order. They told me that the order was made to my house the driver mark off blue umbrella, yet the one I received was red. Very disappointed at least they could have taken something off.😡

Nice quality furniture, definitely steep in price however packages around the holidays are affordable.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. The staff is incompetent and their customer service is a joke. I will never shop here again and advise anyone looking to shop here to avoid like the plague.
