These guys did an amazing job replacing my windshield. I booked the appointment online. The day they came out they even sent a text and caller to let me know they were on their way. Even better they sent a photo of the repairman so I would know who was coming. It made me feel really safe. The tech was rude the moment we dropped off our car at 8:30 am. The appointment was for 7:30 am Eduardo says. My reply being We where told by the agent and the SMS messages the appointment is for 9:30 am. He then comes back with yeah, drop off between 7:30 and 9:30. He then tell me and my wife that it will be 4-5 hours and they will contact us.The time of 7:30 am was never mentioned in any of our communications.All day goes by until finally at 4:57 pm I get an SMS to have me submit payment info, which I do. I then get another SMS at 5:10 pm informing me the work is done and to get the car before they close.It being 5:10 pm we are now thinking they close at 5:30 pm (because nowhere in any of the links / communication do they provide the store hours or contact info). So we (me and my wife) rush out there to find a closed and dark storefront at 5:23 pm.So they take 7 hours to do a 5 hour job. Inform me the car is ready 10 minutes AFTER they are closed? No attempt to call us to inform us. No body around to help because they closed at 5 PM!! So much for same day service.I used to be a great proponent of SafeLite, now that they wasted our time, lied to us, and blew our travel plans completely to garbage it is clear they have NO RESPECT for their clients time. I will never use SafeLite again and I will tell anyone I can about how screwed up this was.

Went through my insurance company USAA and Safelite was schedule. Fortunately the tech was at least nice but all else not so much.Car was left over night as he got done late and did not need the car anyway. Woke up the next day to go somewhere and itbwas raining all night. Got in the car and it was raining through the lights. Seats wet, floor soaked, radio dripped on, not to mention the tech left the rubber and glue strips everywhere in my drive way and in the car. There is water collected in the head liner. Several spots were there is no glue, several spots were they chipped the paint (great so now rust can build up).Call the manager and he offers nothing but to pay for a rental car if I call and pay for it. Rental places are closed on the weekends. Says he has to order another windshield and can not do it until Monday with no precise time frame just says morning.I let me insurance company know about it incase any damage is done and mold builds up. I also am setting up appointment with Ford to inspect electrical and do a detail job. Really upset about this

This is the second time Ive had to visit Safelite at the same location. Last time I had my rear wind windshield replaced, this time was the front. All I can say is these guys are awsome!!! Chris & Will went above and beyond to provide the best, possible service. I take my hat off to these gentlemen. They were fast, professional, and very cautious with how they worked and cleaned my vehicle very well due to these covid times. Chris went above and beyond to get the glass I needed quickly and the technician who did the install also went the extra mile by clearing up a small corrosion spot that was starting on the frame underneath the glass. Could not be more satisfied as a customer.

Wonderful service! Very attentive, informative, polite, respectful and efficient. Their waiting room is very clean with a large variety of coffee and a tv. I spoke with two gentlemen who educated me about the process of fixing my chipped windshield and what to expect. As an added, unexpected, bonus they also vacuumed the inside of my car and wiped it down with anti-bacterial cleaner. They also finished in under an hour and my windshield looks great!

Set the appointment the night before online. Got to the allojntment a few minutes late. No problems or ridicule from anyone. When he looked at the crack in the window he said it was already too bad to re repair and needed replacement. I asked the cost and he said it was covered by insurance. We are leaving tomorrow on a trip to Kentucky and he was able to schedule the repair for Monday in Kentucky. I am very happy with the whole experience.

Came into Safelite (Lake in the Hills) today to see if they would be able to repair my windshield. The adhesive that holds my windshield down was no longer holding my windshield in place. Most of my windshield was unsecured. They were very busy, but spoke with William and he was concerned for my safety and manage to find time to repair my window. 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ service, highly recommend.

Had my windshield recently replaced at this Safelite location, and I would recommend them to anyone needing glass repair/replacement. The staff was friendly, professional, and explained in detail what was going on with my glass replacement. All in all they got the window done quickly, cleanly, and for slightly below the online quote I had received.

Awsome place! Wouldn’t go anywhere else in the area!1. I made an appointment late and they had me scheduled earlier the next day.2. They had an inventory error for my new windshield and knew I couldn’t drive it so they worked after hours to get my windshield delivered and replaced!3. They gave me a free ride home with a technician that was very nice.4. They gave me a promo discount even after I said it wasn’t necessary!4. Since I had a hole in my windshield from an object penetrating it, they turned on my ac and heat and sucked out the defrost vents and all other vents.5. Vacuumed out my car and left the windows looking crystal clear.6. They felt awful and showed it.Bottom line is these guys rock! Truest most honest people. They could have blamed it on anything but the manager took full blame and worked after hours.100/10 rating!

I was really impressed with the Safelite experience from start to finish. From the quick response when I notified my insurance company of the damaged windshield to initial contact, setting appointment, notifications and reminders AND then finally, the technician calling ahead of time that day AND being on time at my home for the replacement. The work was top notch and they offered replacement wiper blades at a cost less than what I paid the last time at NAPA. All in all very pleased.

Messed up the windshield installation the first time, but fixed it. Left it pretty dirty after fixing it. It isnt leaking anymore though. Good job.

Website extremely easy to use and schedule an appointment within the same day. Very friendly and helpful. Found out from the guy at the front desk that I could put the repair through my insurance and he did everything for me. No out of pocket expense. They even cleaned my windows and vacuumed my car. They helped replace my windshield when it got shattered by ice/snow. The two guys that were working last Saturday were amazing. I do have to go to another location to get my camera recalibrated but they took care of scheduling an appointment for a different location. Great customer service!

Today was my second time at this location. The service was superb once again. Last time it took a couple of hours, so this time I had arranged for someone to pick me up and bring me back when it was finished. Well, they were done before my ride could even arrive. It took probably less than an hour, although I didn’t look at the time that closely. I’m sure any negative review here would be a result of a rare, one-off situation.

Refered by my insurance company. They set up the appointment, and offered me an at home option. I opted for the service to be preformed at the facility. They confirmed the appointment and my information to ensure the right glass had been ordered. The day of the appointment came. The work was done in two hours. When i picked it up there was no evidence of any broken glass. A week latter the glass is perfect. The cost was lower than had been quoted. All in all it was a very good experience.

Above and beyond customer service. We had our windshield replaced and could hear some wind noise when we drove on the expressway. We called and they had us come back where they proceeded to not only take care of the problem, but they adjusted the moulding on the drivers side window that had come loose. We highly recommend these folks.

I went online and set up the appointment. I was expecting an appointment the next week. But I was able to get one the next day, which worked out much better for me. The technician, Eric, contacted me when he was coming, showed up on time, was done in less time than he thought, cleaned all my car windows and vacuumed my car. Did a great job putting in the windshield! Compared to the last place I had a windshield done (in which they screwed up the trim) this was light years better. Other than the windshield looking brand new, you cant tell it was done.

Time to update the pictures that you send to customers before technicians show up. Mine looked like his picture was taken 15yrs ago. Before the Rumpelstiltskin beard and just woke up head of hair. Windshield replacement did not go smoothly. Started on a Tuesday finished it on a Friday. Does not fit what is being advertised on t.v. about safelite.

Got the job done in reasonable amount of time.

They replaced my broken windshield with no issues.The problem came three months later when the windshield broke again. I took it to a different place to get replaced. This is where I learned about the pinch well, which is the part of the car where the windshield sits. If it isnt primed, the pinch well will begin to rust because paint always comes off due to the windshield removal process.And it was beginning to rust. The new place showed me the rust & the priming process, which only took a small paint brush, a little can of black paint and about a 3 minute paint job.That was an annoying realization, especially from a company that comes off as top of the line.

Fixed my rock chipped windshield with their resin, I can barely see where it was. Insurance covered it without a deductible. It didnt take very long, but I made my appointment a day or two in advance.

CUSTOMER SERVICE ISNT DEAD AFTER ALL!I cant say enough about my great experience with safelite. Even though I never even met the tech who repaired my windshield, I know that this is a business that prides itself on great customer service. I scheduled the appointment through my insurance to repair a windshield on my VW and that was simple with a wide range of available time slots. I chose to have the repair done at home for the convenience and the communication prior to repair was exceptional - texts and email confirmation in advance and then the day of I received an email with the approximate time and a photo of the tech, who was glad to repair the windshield in the driveway, in January without complaint. I received literature about the repair since I wasnt home to speak direct and received a courtesy call from the manager later that night as a follow up. What a pleasant change from the usual lack of communication among business these days and just a very well run operation.But heres the kicker - in the car was my ipass with new 3M backing tape to apply to windshield after the glue had set I assume. This was just a small thing, but really made me appreciate the thought these guys put into their work. So thank you again to my service tech Eric and the courtesy call from Chris as a follow up - youre hard work and dedication are appreciated by this guy!

Techs are lazy and either dont want to do there jobs or dont know how. Had them out to my house tech told me a bullshit story about how the chip was pre existing and that someone had already filled it in. Had NOVOUS GLASS out and the guy fixed it perfect in minutes.
