The only reason this gets even 2 stars is because the store staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They eventually helped me resolve my issue albeit the hard way thanks to Verizon corporate. Other than that Verizon corporate gave me the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. After my phone gave out on me while on vacation I stopped at a Best Buy on the drive home to replace my phone. I was then informed my account was flagged for fraud because of being in a different state despite being just across the border from my home state. After wasting an hour and a half of my time while on hold I was told that I had to go into a corporate store and they would resolve my problems and upgrade my phone there. Fine, understandable. I then went into this store the next day, as instructed by corporate, and was given the exact same response and run around that I received the previous day. Except this time they told me there was no immediate solution and that I had to go to the DMV and update my license despite having a legally valid ID that they refused to accept along with countless other ways of proving my identity, as well as already verifying my account numerous times. Verizon corporate refused to help me or even take the time to listen to my situation as evident by having to repeat myself to them over the phone numerous times. They basically told me sorry but we can’t help you and you are stuck without a phone. I have been a Verizon customer for almost 13 years and unless this situation is remedied Verizon will be losing my business in the very near future. Absolutely horrible customer service by Verizon corporate and they don’t seem to care about their customers in the slightest. Very disappointed and frustrated.
I was at this location a month ago to upgrade my phone and plans, Joseph helped us out and gave us all the wrong numbers! Making my bill seem lower than it actually was, now we’re paying (literally) for his mistakes and I was told by Verizon customer service that nothing can be done because those are the prices. If I could give zero stars I would. Not only did he mess it up our billing but I went in multiple times for him to EXPLAIN these outrageous charges and he couldn’t, he also switched the plans around on the phones. Make sure your employees know what they’re doing before they give out prices to customers, after being a customer for 12 years this is ridiculous!

This one star rating is more then should be given. As a Verizone customer. I had a new product which needed configuring. Matthew helped a great deal. The manager whispered to Matthew. Immediately after an excuse was made to get of me. This is not the first time a Verizon Store has done this. I have been a Verizon for over 15 years I would expect to be treated with respect.
They replaced my charger immediately with happy friendly service. It had 1 year warranty. Easy in & out!

I picked up a phone I ordered online, had my QR code ready, and was in and out of the store in under 10 minutes. Service was prompt and courteous. At this time of Covid, the number of customers allowed in store at a time, are limited. You may be asked to wait in your car. My experience at this store was excellent.
The people here really know their stuff. Helped me figure out that the Samsung phone I got was not what was advertised. May cost a bit more but the piece of mind is probably worth it.
Its verizon. Sales people are nice but still doing their typical sales game. Last 2 phones I bought there they didnt have in stock had to be delivered to my house. They are help full get you a good deal, still feel like just ordering online is quicker and less of a headache but you wont get a deal as good as going into the store.
Due to limited indoor capacity they now check you in outside if there are multiple customers and call you when its your turn to see someone. I was helped by Jessica and she was very nice and knowledgable. I have tried many service providers and while Verizon is the most expensive it truly has the best coverage and customer service.
We just went in to this store to upgrade one of our phones. My girlfriend is literally the owner of the account under her phone number and pulled it up to show our employee by the name of Royal, that she is in fact, the account owner. When the original employee set up the account they accidentally put my fathers name under the phone numbers as the nickname and the employee today refused to help us at all just because we had the wrong name under my phone number, EVEN THOUGH my phone number is listed as the owner. He then tried to get our account manager to try and make ME, the OWNER, a manager but obviously did not work because I was already listed as the owner. Overall horrible service, complete lack of knowledge on Royal’s part (a quick 30 second google search on the Verizon’s website FAQ proved everything he was telling us to do was wrong and would not work.) ive had great service there in the past but they were just not willing to work with me on anything today.Edit: after a quick 15 minute live chat online the entire problem was fixed.
Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff even when working though these difficult times. They steered me to a better online deal instead of paying more in the store. This will keep me as a loyal customer.
Came into the store to get a pixel5 stood there for an hr and 15 min juat to in the end be told by Brittney which seemed like she no longer wanted to be there that their inventory is wromg and they dont have that phone in stock
Waste of time. Was helped by Mathew who immediately helped me feel unwelcome. Told me about store capacity limit that clearly was not met. When i asked about it he added people from the back of the store i did not see. Told me wait time 1hr30min. I recommend website or customer service for quality experience.
They took great precautions to keep people safe. They take your number and text you when theyre ready for you so you dont have to wait outside in the cold.

I know the prices for Verizon are known for being pretty high but you definitely get what you pay for. Their customer service and inventory is amazing. Theyre pretty good about wait times and getting your problems fixed pretty fast while hearing you out.

Take everything you hear from sales with a grain of salt. After double and triple checking about certain things included/excluded from my plan, I later found out during my phone activation the following week I was lied to at the point of sale. I would end up losing out on promotions. Took HOURS to undo everything with corporate and customer service.

Ive had both a good and bad experience here. Make sure you go more than once to the store because everyone there will give you different information and numbers when it comes to costs. I prefer speaking to Brett there, he is quick and to the point. whereas most of the other people are full of attitude and do not care about helping you with your phone. Last time i went to upgrade they never even opened up the box to make sure the activation went through and to check the condition of the phone. I was very disappointed with two of the three salespeople that i met there and wouldnot reccomend going there unless there prepared for their bad attitude.

I just had one of the worst customer service experiences ever with this store. My wifes phone died and in looking online I had determined I would drive to nearest apple store to replace it. As it happens we got a BAD snow storm today so driving the nearest apple store wasnt an option so knowing what I had researched I had hoped I could at least get a similar price on an iphone at their store (which I have verizon service). I called and was shocked to find they wouldnt even discuss an estimate over the phone. Best Buy would, Apple would, and the kiosk at Costco would. Why not them? What I was so frustrated with was the man who answered the phone. As soon as I said I wanted an estimate he continued to talk over me, wouldnt let me talk. I knew exactly what iPhone model I had to trade-in and what I wanted, and I explained that I understood that other details might be involved. Just get me int he ballpark. Is it worth me risking my life to drive to your store or another one, but he wasnt having it and was very rude about it. I cant remember the last time Ive been treated like this. Even after my explanation he continue to talk over me, to a point I finally had to start screaming, stop, stop, let me talk. He just assumed everything. Poor customer service. STAY THE HECK AWAY!!!!

My review is about my store experience. Hopefully Verizon phone service comes through, review to follow on down the road! After putting up year after year with AT&Ts ever climbing bills and the nightmares I went through at Crystal Lake Store on Rt 14 sales staff. I decided it was time to cut ties! I did my due diligence home work on carriers and went shopping. I have to admit I was a little leery going into this Verizon store after reading previous yelp reviews with issues. Talk about worthless reviews way way off the mark! My experience was over the top outstanding! The best buying and customer service I have had the pleasure to experience from large corporate store in very long time. Salesman was Royal this guy is 1st rate! Explained everything clearly and in detail. before leaving he reiterated warranty, policies and everything relevant. Royal was totally knowledgeable in features of all the items we looked at. Worked with me to get the best match phone for all my users needs. Worked with management to get me the best possible price possible. Even when I came in that night at 7pm after making a mistake and getting a wrong phone for my wife. Royal and all the other staff were very courteous, willing to help. Store was very very busy so I opted to come back next morning. Royal made contact even before store opened to help me with my issues and let me know he would be there when I arrived! Another manger was involved and again between Royal and the manager everything taken care of. Could not ask for more or better service! Royal and the managers at this Verizon store take customer service to the Nth degree! Thanks for making my phone carrier switch that in the past in my life has been a daunting stressful challenge, a pleasant stress free really enjoyable experience! ! I will be back and recommend Royal and this Verizon store to all my acquaintances!

I was advised incorrectly by the rep that tried to help us. I have to pay restocking fee that never explained to us. I only upgraded one phone line and billed my accounts with two lines including Insurance. Ive been a Verizon customer for many many years. Loyalty and customer service is no longer the priority of the employees working for the company. Im just going to pay the phone that I needed for my daughter and Im leaving this company for good. The manager on the location cant even make a decision. What kind of manager is that?

They took great care of us today. I was adding my daughter to our plan. I added 2 of our other children a couple days before. We were greeted right away and taken care of very well. So much better than all the dealings we had with Sprint. I have been with Verizon for at least 10 years. They were all on Sprint and every step of the way to get off Sprint was horrible. At one point trying to get the phones unlocked so they could be used on Verizon, Spirit told us the team that unlocked the phones have no communication capabilities. They told us there are no phones in the room they work in. I just had to laugh, a cell phone company and no employees have a cell phone or a land line.

Terrible store. Gave my senior citizen mother wanted the iPhone 6 and they gave her the 7. They knew what phone she wanted because the salesman grabbed the case for the 6. They wouldnt let her return the phone for the 6 when they have her the wrong phone. You cant trust them to get the right phone.

Verizon Lake In The Hills, for that matter all Verizon stores Im sure, share and foster a corporate culture of lying to the consumer. On two separate occasions, both times my bill went up. When my my last plan was up, the new plan they pitched me was supposed to save me $25 per month, and get me new phones, sounds great right? Well add $80 to $100 to any plan that store qoutes you. I even had the store manager put my monthly payments in writing this last time, and after 3 months my bill want up by around $70 per month. I went to confront the store manager, but he had been promoted to another store. He probably way over shot his screw the consumer qouta.BUYER BEWARE WITH VERIZON!

I have been a Sprint customer for over ten years and worked customer service at a major air carrier for many years. I know a few things about customer service and will tell your that these folks knock it out of the PARK. I dont know their history or what some other employees have been like, but Adrian takes care of business and Ive not met a rude employee there yet. Give them a try, they define the term Customer Service. PS Yelp claims its closed. They are open in the old Blockbuster spot at the corner of Randall and Algonquin road.

The best Verizon store experience Ive ever had
I walked in 30 minutes before closing on a Sunday and Erik worked with me far past their closing hour with no complaint. In fact, the had a few customers they were helping. Erik even figured out a way to place my pre-order for my iPhones so that I was more than happy. Great job, Erik! Ill be back for that iPad soon.

Sorry, I have been a VZ Customer for years and after i walked in to upgrade my phone i have decided to look elsewhere for service. I walked in at 7:30 ( after getting off work) and Was asked what i needed in a weird way. I said i was looking to upgrade and the manager assisted me and basically said oh we need to hurry we close at 8. ( First Red Flag) I say i need to trade in my S6 Edge cause it is a Terrible phone with lacking battery life as well as it continuously locks up and overheats. Josh then pulled up my info and asked what i was looking for which was a S7 Edge, He looked around a lil and had the gold one i was looking for and says lets get you handled cause we close at 8. Josh grabs my phone and looks at what needs to be transferred and says we can not do it cause we close at 8 and we dont have enough time to transfer it all, And do you really need everything???? Well if i wasnt trading in my phone it could possibly work but since you need to do a master reset on it that will not work. The manager walks over and i explain i am trying to purchase a phone and you are telling me that the data transfer will keep us here til 11pm and you close at 8 and we all must be out, What kind of customer service is that. She said i can come back tomorrow if i would like but they close at 8. Thank you for making my decision to goto ATT.
Have had all my cell phones with Verizon. Cant beat the service, I told them I want to be able to phone home if Im standing in or on a mountain in the Rockies. They havent let me down yet.
