I have had several electric guitars worked on at this location and James sinson is the guitar tech there he does a very good job very clean job very smart and knows what hes doing I was very impressed from the first work and I will continue to bring my music equipment there if I need any maintenance with guitars or small amp repair

I was greeting immediately upon walking in, even though the solitary worker was on a business related phone call. She was friendly, let me know she would be assisting me, ended the phone call promptly and made me feel at home in an otherwise overwhelming state, because I know nothing about instruments or what I needed. She was so professional and got me everything I needed and took my name and number to let me know when the next pieces not in stock would be arriving. So pleased with her service. And that was today at 12...lunch time. Thank you!

Very friendly staff. Locally owned music store where you can purchase most of your musical needs. Also does various repairs on musical instruments.

Called to see if they could recommend someone to move a piano. The individual who answered the phone acted like shed never heard of such a thing. Repeated my question back to me with a questioning tone — apparently because they only sell keyboards they dont have any contacts in the music instrument world for moving pianos? I had to ask to speak to a manager (because I thought he or she might be more knowledgeable about my request). My number was taken and I was told that he would call me when he got the chance.EDIT: The manager called me back and was very nice. I am editing my review to reflect his appreciation for my call and his help. He indicated he will speak with the employee and explain the proper way to deal with customers. He gave me the name of a piano tuner who may be able to put me in touch with a mover as well.

Went to Collins for first time recently and was impressed with courtesy of staff. Ive played guitar for over 40 years and even though I was only there for pegs and strings, I found a guitar that I plan on buying... average prices, definitely not overpriced. Didnt give 5 stars only because no electrics worth mentioning. I have 10 guitars, but fell in love with one I plan to buy! Close to home too!

I took two guitars, an electric and an acoustic, in for re-stringing, basic set-up and pickup and phase switch circuit issues. All the work was done to my satisfaction. Now I have nice set-ups, new strings and all switches working properly and noiseless. The work was done within a week. The guitar tech seems to love and know what he is doing and the result is courteous, pro-quality work.

Probably the most fun store you could ever be in, its not an exaggeration I love playing the guitars here. I got to try my first whammy bar here it was awsome.

My first experience with Collins was great. I saw an advertisement for their establishment on the internet. There was only one review, so I was a little worried. I decided to go anyway and I was not disappointed. I was trying to get an old guitar repaired for my granddaughters birthday. They had beautiful guitars on display at reasonable prices so I purchased a new one. The staff was courteous and helpful making sure I had everything that I needed to make my grand daughters birthday a success. Thank you and I will be back for all of my musical needs.

I have been a customer of Collins Music Center for the past two years. The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The price are very reasonable and the instruments are high quality. They also do instrument repair. They get your instrument repaired quickly and it is done right!

Worst service, my step dad got yelled at then kicked out for asking when his guitar was being fixed after 6 weeks of them doing nothing to it, we have always tried to go back but we always find a problem. I play tenor saxophone and we walked in and asked for reeds, they didnt even give us Tenor reeds, or the right size! We went in again after realizing, finally got the right reeds! But... there were only 2 reeds in the 5 pack that we bought.

Took my new Ukulele in to have some setup work done to it. Im brand new to ukes, so I honestly didnt know if was set up well or not. The tech checked it out and told me it really didnt need anything. Id have paid the $25 fee and not even asked any questions, but he was honest and I appreciate that. Cool guy, too. Ill be back.

Been using Collins for as long as I can remember. They have always been friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Theres always a good conversation to be had there. And a wide variety of instruments and accessories.

They do not stand behind their work I had an instrument re padded and pads are falling off and won’t do anything to fix the bad work done

The person on the phone sounded confused and didnt know what I was talking about. He never bothered to ask what kind of instrument it was, string percussion, horn...etc. He just said uhhh what ...uhhh what...uhh no we dont have that. Lol.
