I had what was a difficult fix for a non-techy but Ken walked me through a fix quickly and professionally over the phone. I highly recommend him.

I had Ken (Dr. Hook it up) come by to hide some wires for my surround sound system and run wire the the pool area and garage. He showed up when he said he was going to, performed the work professionally, and did a great job. The house looks clean now, less clutter, and most importantly the wife is happy!! Ken cleaned up when he was done and even moved my furniture back! I recommend him for any home sound system work you need. He was very fair on pricing as well, charged me his hourly rate for what he did. We will definitely use him again if we need more work done to our house.

Ken is the best around! He called in and confirmed well in advanced. He did a thorough survey and gave a great estimate. He ended up installing 4 TVs and in no time to boot. Had Ken do an outside install and it could not have gone any better! He also set up an inside TV and hid all the wires for me. Set the time for 8 - 8:30 and was there on time. All went great and would definitely use him again.

Ken installed three surround sound systems with hidden wiring, including out on the lanai with rock speakers surrounding the pool, with remotes programmed to the equipment inside. His professionalism and attention to detail are impeccable. He wore covers over his shoes and left no trace of dirt or debris. He programmed all of the components on our Harmony remote and he spent time with us to learn how to work it. I will definitely use him again in the future.

Ken recently re-connected my Bose system to my new Samsung TV quickly and effectively and adjusted the sound settings to factory default efficiently...sounds great! My Bose DVD player had played sound but no picture but it works fine now thanks to Ken. A previous technician was prepared to charge me $130. for a supposedly defective sound part to solve that problem. Thank goodness I called Dr. Hook It Up!

He came and setup my ceiling speakers for my rear surround sound. It was a very difficult job, 2 story house, exterior walls. It cost a lot but you get what you pay for. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly/nice. The job looks very professional, he put covers over the hole he drilled in the wall, he put piping around the wires that had to run outside. He even setup my receiver so it sounded better. Would definitely recommend him!

Ken just left after mounting my new 60 TV on the wall. The picture was good before he got here but after he finished adjusting the set it was sensational. The set looks great on the wall and he cleaned up everything before he left. I would definitely recommend Dr Hook It Up.

Ken did a fantastic job of installing a pair of inceiling Bose speakers for us. I thought I could do it myself, but 30 minutes of me into the job, I stopped and booked Ken for the install. Thank goodness I did. Ken did a masterful job of fixing my mess and installing these speakers the right way.I like doing business with busy people. Ken is a freaking RockStar! My husband has been waiting pretty much his whole adult life for a home theater experience and he finally has it, thanks to Ken.Not only did Ken stay in contact with us through the entire process, but he blew us away with his skills and competency. He hung 5 tvs-and didnt just throw them up on the wall, he made them look like they were free-standing, without wires or boxes. Like magic, they were all hidden or run through new custom outlets he installed behind them.He then proceeded to hook us up(!) with one of the most amazing whole-house sound systems. Forget about ever going to the movies again...no need.I see many parties and fight-nights at our house, in the near future. Ken has a standing invite.

I texted Ken on a Friday night at 6:15pm in a bit of a panic because I needed to have a large TV hung prior to a carpenter installing a mantle over our fireplace, as well as bookcases on each side of the fireplace first thing the next morning. The individual I had lined up had a family emergency and wasnt going to be able to help me for several days.Ken was very patient in gathering the information he needed in order to determine whether he could assist me. After I explained I really needed the TV hung by 9am the next morning, Ken told me he had a 9am appointment on the opposite side of town. I thought I was sunk but Kens response blew me away when he said he could hang the TV but hed have to arrive by 5:30am in order to complete the job and still make it to his 9am appointment on time.Honestly, I have had difficulty getting quotes and house repairs done during normal business hours let alone having someone offer to go that much out their way in order to assist me and gain my business.Sure enough Saturday morning, Ken arrived at 5:30am and did a beautiful job in containing the wires and installing an electrical outlet to accommodate the TV being hung above the fireplace. I am extremely grateful that Ken was so willing to accommodate such a last minute request AND to come at a time when most people are still sleeping!On top of everything else Ken did, he also re-programmed the TV remote and added the YouTube app for me. Great job and would definitely recommend!

Fantastic service!! Ken was not able to come out on our original scheduled date. He made sure I was taken care though and came out on a Sunday to install our tv. Three years ago we hired someone else, and weve been living with the mess they made ever since, not to mention the code violations they left us with. If only wed known about Ken (Dr. Hook-it-Up) then.He drove 70 miles each way to our beach condo, and spent four hours putting everything right. The result is a perfect setup with no visible wires for three wall-mounted TVs and their accessories - exactly what we wanted it to be. He left the place as clean as he found it, and charged us considerably less than the people who botched the original job. He patiently answered all of our questions, thoroughly described our options, and never attempted to sell us anything we didnt need.It can be difficult to schedule Kens time, but its worth the effort. Text him your needs and always shoot for an early morning appointment.

I spoke with Ken initially to schedule for a tv install above our fireplace. I had explained how we had just moved to the area and had issues with companies simply not showing up to do work for us after the job was confirmed. He seemed very convencing and assured us that we chose the right man for the job. The night before he was scheduled to come out he called us and informed us that he was exhausted from a personal trip he had just returned from and asked if he could reschedule for the following day. We agreed. That same night we realized we had a water leak above our fireplace so I called him back to reschedule the following Saturday. He said he would be at our home first thing Saturday morning at 9am. Friday before he was scheduled to come out, I texted him to confirm the install the next morning. He then informed me that he wasnt sure we were actually scheduled for install that morning because we had postponed it the week before. Then he backed that up stating he had a very big job from the night before that he had to finish Saturday morning. He asked to reschedule for Sunday but we refused. If he had offered later on Saturday, we wohkd have agreed but he DID NOT make us a priority and keep his word. Whether he forgot that he confirmed the appointment or he had a bigger job which took priority, it was unprofessional and if I hadnt texted to confirm our Saturday morning install, I would have been sitting around Saturday waiting for him to show!

Would totally recommend him for any job you need done. Super flexible, so accommodating, and excellent customer service!
