Nice prices. VERY NICE STAFF!

You have to wear your mask in here or even if you are vaccinated, kind of seems a little strange, The guy at the counter also told me there are different strains out and will be lucky if we make it through this.........I don’t go to thrift stores to be told we are all going to die from COVID.

Great shop but I think sales should be posted better...would have shopped more had I known...

For three decades, the Lords Places located in West Palm Beach, has been providing, shelter, warmth, encouragement and the resources needed to gain independence. The Lords Place works to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty in Palm Beach County by providing housing, job training and placement, life-skills training and links to clinical, legal and government assistance programs.To fund their programs, the Lords Place operates this Joshua Thrift Store in Lake Park and one in West Palm Beach which I have previously visited. They also have an Ebay and Amazon store online. Some of the people working at the thrift stores are clients in the program who are receiving valuable job training while other people are volunteers.The store sells clothing, jewelry, furniture, household items, books, and toys. One hundred percent of the proceeds benefits the nonprofit, so you can feel good about donating here too. During my visit everything in the store was an additional 25 percent off. The sale changes depending on what day you visit. They have a rewards program that you can sign up for when you check out.The store is clean and attractively arranged. Whoever is setting up the clothing displays is doing a fabulous job. My favorite find on this visit was a dress that would have been perfect for the Renaissance Festival but unfortunately not the right size. Someone smaller is going to get a great deal at $10 minus whatever sale they are having that day. They had a whole rack of costumes for Halloween. Both this store and the one in West Palm Beach are fun to check out. Come out and support this worthy organization.

Staff was very friendly and proceedes go to a good cause. They have a large selection of clothing and shoes and there were additional sales on top of the already reasonable prices. They have a few really nice pieces of furniture and, unlike other thrift shops in the area, the items were priced to sell and not overly expensive. They accept donations and you can even schedule for them to pick it up! I really liked rummaging through Joshuas Thrift and I will definitely be shopping here again.
