The items the store has are awesome. However, the lady tending to the business today was so rude. If she is the owner, then I am speechless. I came in and I greeted her- she just stared at me. I began to look around and she kept on staring, not one word came out of her mouth. Just a deep stare that said you are not welcome in this store. My daughter wanted to buy a bee notebook and I cut her off and said, lets just leave I am not black but I guess this is exactly how black people feel when treated differently.

Very cozy Saturday morning. Just had pancakes and was invited to some portraits.Stopped in the humidor which is well stocked and picked up a CLE Annivesry cigar.When your made to feel at home, you just keep going back for more. I recommend Old Virginia Tobacco.Stop in and have a smoke.

The cinnamon infused honey is amazing! The store is so cute and has a ton of different bee things. We even saw the queen bee of a hive!

Really great curation of honey, mead, soaps, novelty bee themed clothing and gifts. Also a huge section for actual bee keeping tools and garb which is really awesome. Knowledgeable staff. All around good store if youre in the market for bee related things. Oh and theres like an actual bee hive in the store which is kind of incredible to see up close.

Staff is so kind, friendly and helpful. The space is tidy and will organized! A lot of useful AND cute items for sale. And dont forget the local honey! This is our first year keeping bees and we are very excited to have such a great store close to home.

The best kept secret in Woodbridge VA, truly a hidden jewel of a gift shop. Besides having a huge variety of Mead (HONEY WINE, YUM!!!) They have handmade jams, soaps, lotions, sugar scrubs and lip balms! The store has a lot of jewelry, tee shirts, hats, kids and baby items, scarves and even mens silk ties all relating to bees. Seems every time I go in they have something new too. They have all the supplies a beekeeper might need including beekeeping classes and the coolest observation hive inside. Great opportunity to show kids honeybees up close.

I was a total supporter of The Bee Store in Lake Ridge when it first opened a few years ago. Almost every year we purchase a few new homes for our ever growing Mason Bee population. Today, I wanted to make a quick purchase with my dog on a leash. I was approached by an employee and he ask if my dog was a service dog. I replied no. There were other dog owners in the store with their dogs. I left totally disgusted and asked the other dog owners, if they were service dogs. They replied no! Was I totally discriminated? I guess they dont need my dollar or reference. A waste of a two-mile walk.

Amazing store for anything Bee related. Get you local honey, buy a shirt, face mask, slippers or a hat. They have soaps and scrubs. Anything for a bee keeper or a bee lover! I love this store!

A great store for bee keeping supplies and gifts. They also have a large indoor hive. It has glass and you can see the bees working. Also the queen is marked making the whole life of the hive easy to see. They have great gifts including honey, wines, and soaps. They also have a lot of bee related clothing. It us really cool and definitely worth the stop.

What a hidden gem this store is. First, off I really never go behind Tackets Mill.. apparently I should of as Ive been missing out. There are a lot of cute little stores behind Tacketts Mill Square.. did anybody ever know this? I didnt...so today I went to an appointment and on my way to the car I saw this cute little store appropriately called to the Bee Store.Not only is the idea of saving bees heavy on my mind because that is a pressing issue right now, I was intrigued by what could possibly be in the store and WOW was I in for a surprise.The owner of the store was an extremely nice and helpful young lady who is also a beekeeper. The Store is decorated with Bee items and has a multitude of choices that display bees on them like dish towels and pens, cards and pins and magnets that are handmade, there is beer and syrup. honey and tea..theres really everything that you can possibly think of with bees on it socks and key chains everything and very exquisitely done I might add. Some cute and trendy T shirts for everyone and gift ideas. Especially now with fall soon approaching or bitrhdays. In addition to this the store has its very own apiary . It really is incredible to see how the bees make honey and how fascinating it is for bees to come in-and-out of to make honey it was truly amazing. The owner took the time to explain to me how the bees make honey and who the Queen Bee was. I was absolutely delighted with everything. I cant wait to go back to buy so many other items. It is a definite must see in the Woodbridge area.

Love this place for all things Bee. Great selection of goods, wine, Meade, soaps, lotions and if course honey. They also carry everything you need to become a bee keeper and offer classes to educate you on how.

My daughter and I visited the Bee Store for the first time this week and we were so thankful! This is the spot for any bee keeper at any experience level! Terry was super helpful and took time to explain anything we asked about in the store. We plan to take their classes online as well and will definitely be back in the future.

The girls love to come in here and find the queen bee. The people who work here are so freaking nice. I feel like we need to eat the honey faster so we have a reason to go more often. We love to come in here and get local bee products. Honey butter is amazing just sayn.

Really cute gift shop. Knowledgable staff, taught me about the Russian bees they have there. Cute gifts, honey, and honey mead! This is probably the coolest find ever in Northern Virginia!They have all the beekeeping supplies any Northern Virginia beekeeper could possibly want.Not only that, you can get local honey there and they have a bunch of gift items and handmade things that all deal with bees!The owner is especially nice and knowledgeable when it comes to beekeeping and they even host classes there.The coolest thing there was probably the observation hive they are getting ready to put bees in. It is an actual bee hive you can look in on and see the bees doing their thing!Great spot. Great customer service and even greater honey!

I made a pledge to myself to purchase as many holiday gifts as possible from local businesses this year. The Bee Store was the perfect spot to find some unique gifts!I placed an order online during their Black Friday special for several Sweet Sophia Honey Jams and when I went to pick them up, I found lip balms and lip balm holder key chains to check a few more recipients off my list. The jam flavors and lip balm flavors offered were plentiful and theres really something for everyone.Looking forward to stopping in again soon to get a closer look at everything the Bee Store has to offer. Great addition to Tacketts Mill and Woodbridge shopping!

What a find. We need more unique boutiques like this in an area that is boringly corporate and sameness. Wonderful Bee related items. The honey is terrific and I did check it was from local bees. Some very clever curating of Bee and insect related products. Check out the aprons -delightful - but my wife is just too small for everything. Getting together with neighbors to see the interest in a shared hive now I know where to get supplies and equipment. A fun store indeed. Love Bees!

This store is our go-to for buying honey (Its all the buzz. The bees knees. Sorry, I couldnt help it - LOL). Very friendly and helpful staff. It is really cool that they have a live hive inside the store and they they sell beekeeping supplies and other various products made from honey and beeswax such as soaps, candles and bee-themed novelty gifts. They also sell Mead wine made from local and specialty honey-wine vendors.

Great little shop. Features a lot of locally produced honey and beeswax-based products. Its a real shame that theyre so hidden away down behind the main shopping center. Hey Tacketts Mill! how about some better signage?I wish I owned some property so I could try to run a small hive.

My husband spoke only wonderful proclamations of this place until he took us into this beautiful store to experience it as a family. Unfortunately, the woman at the counter was not the least bit interested in our presence beyond rushing up to us (upon hearing a clatter) to question, Did you all break something? We truly did enjoy checking out the display of the bee hive--even discovered the queen! We love their honey, yet hope next visit to run into those who want us there and fill us with information (as was my husbands first experience).

Went here for some beekeeping supplies. I had heard the staff was pretty helpful. True! Answered all my questions, drew some pictures for me and gave me some cost saving tips for additions to my hives. Turned out to be a lot easier than parsing out the multitudes of differing advice on the internet. Id like to take a star away for the trip there, but I guess I cant fault them for being a trip down I95 from my house.

Saw a sign for this place from the highway and were curious so we stopped in to check it out. Pretty cool - lots of bee-related products: candles, jewelry, butt butter. You know, the essentials. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Oh and theres a hive inside. Bought some Royal Jelly - cant wait to turn into a queen!

This unique store is a small business located in Lakeridge, VA. and open Tues-Sat 10am-7pm, Sun 10am-4pm and closed Mondays. The Bee Store offeres everything bee related from honey to beekeeping supplies and classes to handmade lotions and soaps, Mead, bee theme gifts, and more. They even have an indoor observation hive! The super friendly staff are all beekeepers and enthusiastic about educating the public about the honeybee. Take a road trip and drop by, you wont regret it.

Decent store, but live nuc honey bee starter hive purchased last year was neither a true nuc nor a healthy one, meaning it had missing bees and frames that were barely drawn out. Most unhealthy nuc hive Ive seen supplied in 10 years of beekeeping. Disappointing.
