Not from the area but was traveling through VA when tire pressure alert light came on all of a sudden as I was on the highway so detoured to this car shop to get it checked. Greg was super friendly and helpful. He quickly checked the pressure on all the tires and filled up the one with low pressure without even charging me a penny, really appreciated his help and would recommend anyone in the area to patronize Midas

Service staff was friendly but inexperienced. The shop was way overpriced to weld an exhaust pipe back together. I bought and had a muffler installed at Hi-Flo custom for less. Unfortunately, Hi-Flo was closed for the holidays and there was no where else to go so I was gouged....3/2/21 update: Reducing to one star because the welds have now broken and my exhaust is busted again. I cannot stress this enough, go anywhere else. Now I have to take additional time off work to get it fixed properly.

After a stressful four days without air conditioning in my vehicle, Midas was my third and best quote! I have my car repaired here and found it to be decent carried my concern was the bill originally quoted ended up being two and a half times due to problems not encountered during the initial inspection. It appears that the repair was justified and so far theyve been no problems with it. The staff was friendly and outgoing and did communicate the issues when they arose

Honest, friendly, great customer service, and decent prices. I highly recommend it.*** So, the 5 stars were awarded prior to current management. The new manager is something else! We went for a $200 job and given a $900 estimation for things that did not need to be fixed! So I took my car to a different shop where I paid the correct price for what I needed done and fixed the stars on this review. This is what happens when you are dishonest with people! I miss the former manager. She was a really nice and honest lady. I do not recommend current Midas due to inflated prices by the staff and manager and poor customer service by front desk. (Front desk: Terrible female who wanted to argue and did not return my calls)

My car broke down traveling. By pure luck I wound up at this shop. My experience was amazing. The whole staff was very understanding and helpful. In particular Tisha and Alan went the extra mile to make sure my repairs were as quickly as possible. I highly recommend

Greatest car shop in NOVA. They are prompt and very good at showing you any problems then come across instead of just throwing a bunch of lingo at you. This is the only place Ill get my oil changed at after years of only going to dealerships. They also did some muffler work for me and all of their work was done with care and thoroughness.

We’ve been coming to this Midas for several years now and we keep coming back because of the solid services and prices that they provide. Kateasha works the front office but she is very knowledgeable about car repairs in addition to the technicians in the shop so I feel good about entrusting all of our cars with them.

I had the best experience with Midas today. The shop manager (KeTesha?) was insanely helpful and more than willing to spend the time explaining what was wrong with my car, the needs of the car, the possible cause of the damage, and even helped save me some money at the end of the transaction. I was able to book the appointment online, drop off the car, and have it done the next day by 11:00 AM. This experience is SO DIFFERENT than the average shop I go to where I feel like I have been taken advantage of. I will definitely be spreading the word about my great experience at this location and would highly recommend them if you are looking to get a oil change, tune up, or have bigger car problems that need to be addressed quickly and professionally.

Turn down a 1000 dollar break line job bc you wanted to do more work totalling 2600 but we explain we just need you to do the break lines thats it....and assume my wife was a teenager and replied we thought your parents were going to pay for it. Nope she 43 not teenager so keep your 2600 quote...we already knew what was wrong ...no honest people any more

Personality is non-existant! Knowledge of car repair and maintenance is questionable at best.If you need a state inspection and you are the only one that does, hope you have at least an hour of free time to spare! Dont think complaining is going to do you want good. If youre on medication for high blood pressure, take it before you go.

I have been taking my cars here for 12 years! I have always gotten great, honest, reliable service for everything from an oil change to rebuilding a trasnmission. They are great to work with and show that they care about their customers. I highly recommend them.

New managementI previously reviewed this Midas while Troy was the manager.I was sad to learn he had moved on, but I have been very pleasantly surprised with the level of customer service under the new regime.Ive been down a couple of times now for fairly simple issues, but with some slight complications that theyve been very helpful with finding alternatives and workarounds for...all very fairly priced as well

Went in for an oil change, tire rotation, and 20 point inspection. When I looked over the paperwork the guy that worked on my car checked didnt check fluid levels or inspect NY brakes like he had stated in the paperwork. When I called and let them know the oil change didnt do much to help my car and the mechanic didnt do the 20 point inspection they gave me a free oil change. Less then a month after getting serviced Im now having brake problems because the mechanic didnt do their job. Dont take your car here, they either dont care about repeat business or just dont care about doing quality work. Spend your money and time on people that enjoy what they do.

The staff at this Midas are truely sweet, honest and amazing people that put the customer first. I travel for work and was in the area when my catalyst converter decided it was done for, of course when Im almost 17 hours away from home. Kateasha searched all over to get me the best possible price she could to get me back on the road safely. The staff kept me updated, made sure I knew about finance options if needed, and while I was in the waiting area kept me laughing and done all they could to keep my mind off the stress. 5 stars isnt enough for the acts of kindness and honestly I received. Brought my car in because it would not go into park position, they diagnosed the problem and did the repairs within a couple of hours mind you I had gone to 2 auto body shops and the didnt even guarantee the could have it ready today! I came here to get my tires changed. I got on the road and I felt a shake in the front axle. Couldnt tell what side. I came back and they were very polite, professional, and personable all at the same time. They ended up fixing it in about twenty minutes. It was unfortunate that I had the issue but the service here is great. I would definitely come back again.

I went to this Midas for the first time, because another Midas messed up my car. I was disappointed and about to give up on Midas as a whole. I went there for an oil change and didnt end up with a 3 page list of things recommended or pressured into getting a ton of additional services. For that I will be coming back to get additional services on my vehicle and referring to others. Ketasha(sp) and Jesse were great! They explained the issue they did find, provided a quote, and provided EXCELLENT customer service! I feel like they were being sincere and are trustworthy and its to find that at auto shops these days! Im glad I decided to give Midas another chance!

Great place to get service at an affordable price

Accidently requested an oil change appointment for 8-10am, when they called I told them I meant for it to be in the evening between 530-7pm (which the website allows me to select) They told me they couldnt do it because it was too late. I found them to be very rude, sorry I work 730-430 pm and 530 is the earliest I can get there!

Terrible result from brake work. We were driving on vacation when the brakes started goinbad. This Midas shop turned the rotors and replaced the pads. 200 hundred miles down the road a caliper locked up, the pads and rotors were destroyed, we were lucky to maintain control of the car. And what did Midas say? Not our fault. No refund. We are now waiting for the repair a second time. You are on your own with this outfit.

This location used to be our trusted mechanic but after yesterday this business doesnt deserve our business anymore. My bf went in before he left out of town to get his fog light looked at. Turned out to be broken so instead of replacing at the time he asked if they could remove the wiring and not replace the fog light. The wiring removal cost $122. While my bf is out of town he decides to look at the work that the mechanic did at the time, only to find out the wiring was STILL there!! He was charged $122 for a ZIPTIE. That is completely unacceptable! WHAT A RIP OFF! On Thursday April 4 when he is returning home, he decided to stop by midas and ask for his money back. The front desk Katisha (dont know how to spell her name) is normally helpful but we must of caught her on a bad day, she THREATENED my boyfriend with MS-13. YOUR SUPPOSED TO BE THE FACE OF MIDAS AND YOUR THREATENING PEOPLE WHEN 1 THING GOES SIDEWAYS. YOU GUYS NEVER FINISHED THE JOB. I am 100% sure that if you did that to another customer they would feel ripped off as well. I will be contacting corporation as well. Btw I am from El Salvador and there are thousands of families fleeing El Salvador because of MS-13. My bf filed a police report yesterday and had me sleep at my mothers house yesterday because of Katishas threats. NEVER AGAIN WILL I COME HERE.

Iam not really happy with the price that I paying for fixing leaks on my Lincoln Navigator at the beginning they estimated 3000 to 3500 in the end i had to pay around 5000 I don’t know what kind of estimate they do if I knew that it is going to end up 5000 k I would give up at the beginning ..Now it’s too complicatedSo doing a kind of research on itUpdate 2:I got the call from district manager and told me that he is going to take care of it and got 100$ discount where I paid 2000$ on that transaction and total payment to fix the oil leaks was more than 5500$Here is the copy of my review on yelp:This is the one closest auto shop near my house and I went to fix the leak that I had in my truck they estimated 3000$ to fix it ... they took 3 days and I had to pay 2500$ and took my truck to home I drive 2 days the leak was still there I went back they said there is a leak that they did not see it I don’t know what they fixed and this time they said it will cost around 700$ ok I paid it took them 2 days again I paid and got my truck after I drive 2 days the leak was still there I brought it back they said they are going to look at it again and again they said it will cost me 1800$ I was really upset because if they estimated 5500$ once I would just let it go and I would not repair because it is an old truck!! My girlfriend blew a tire out on 95, I scrambled to get the tire from the dealer since I wanted the same one, and finally got down to the Woodbridge area where she works. I knew it would be hard to find anyone with availability to get it done late in the day, but from phone call to finished service I was impressed with the QoS. I Run an auto repair shop in Alrington, and was impressed with the staff. Thank for the quick help and great work!

Great place to get mufflers

I have been going there for many years and now their mechanics are just out to get your money! I took my car in for brake service and inspection. I was quoted a price going out the door. Then Another mechanic decided to call me and say that I needed engine mounts and that I could not get my car unless I paid 700.00 more for the service. I was stuck... Never going back ! I checked with the dealer and was told the new mounts were not needed!!!

Today started stressful for me...I needed to take my mom to a doctors appointment in Woodbridge from Upper Marlboro, Md...and my air condition in my car was not working. Her appoint was at 10 and we left early because of the weather and when we got to Woodbridge we stop at Midas at Metro Plaza and Erin and Lowell was very helpful in helping me with my car issues....these two techs took my car and serviced it providing me with details as they continue to see whats wrong. To top that off my mom still had to get to her appt. the owner offer to drop her off while I wait for my car. Always helpful, doing a good job. I dont feel overcharged or pushed to spend money, which happened at a mechanics before. I recommend calling ahead though, because it can get busy, and there isnt really anywhere to go to wait (mc donalds nearby I guess?) - I mean there is a waiting room with a tv and some magazines, Im just not that into gossip tv.

Made appointment on line. Between the hours of 7:30-9 . Didnt get a response, Was told on line will get a response in one hour. So I called in 24 hours and didnt have one for my time

I went in and requested 2 front break pads replaced. The pads were under warranty and I only needed to pay for labor. The employee on duty, Troy refused to do the work unless I paid a $25 diagnosis fee. I ended up having to go to another Midas to avoid this fee

After 2 shops telling me they couldnt help until 2 days later I called this Midas shop and Lisa (front desk person) told me to come over. I was from out of town with a nail in my tire.
