This is the first time Ive ever written a review... but i felt it was only right. Ive scoped this place out on my way to and from my house but in my ignorance I turned my nose up in assumptions. Boy was that a mistake. First of all as a typical New Yorker when i hear halal i think good corner cart food for a great price but this place takes it to a new level. They keep the veggies fresh and cook on demand quick and clean. They have a wide selection/assortment of drinks, snacks, smokes and paraphernalia for such a small space and they get you in and out quick. Whenever i feel like eating out without ripping my wallet open i just walk on down to this spot where theyre open till 11pm. Just perfect. always support the local independent spots

I hardly rate anyone but Trust me, I wonder if they are even able to make profit from their business.I ordered 2 combo platter and 1 gyro. The food was so much that it stayed with me for 3+ times.It is absolutely delicious. + if youre ordering from ubereats, youre a lucky one.Dear Guys, Keep it up. May Allah bless you all.

Definitely recommend if youre a fan of the Halal carts they have in the city. This is just as good as them, really affordable, and usually comes with some nice sides like fries, pita, onion rings, and falafel.

The uhaul sign spray painted “HALAL” wasn’t very appetizing but the food is great. Where else can you buy K2 and weed with a plate of Halal?!

I ordered from here because of the high ratings and reviews and I am disappointed. If you’ve ever had authentic halal do not order from here. I ordered for delivery chicken over rice with white sauce. The chicken was cooked nicely however had an overwhelming taste of coriander. The white sauce was simply mayonnaise. There was no Greek yoghurt, lemon, or any traditional add ingredients it in. The rice was forgettable and needed seasoning. After two bites I could not any more of this.

Another reminder as to never judge a book by its cover. Just discovered this little dive tonight. Im pretty upset I didnt know about it sooner. Great when I need a fix of this spice profile. New customer right here, glad theyre in the neighborhood. Food was great guys.

The best Halal in New York. Do not judge this place from the exterior. Chicken over rice and combo over rice are the go too. I work in the city and have eaten halal from plenty different food carts this is hands down the best. From the tasty and generous amount of white sauce to the cut up pita bread, fresh fries and generous portions at city food truck prices it’s the personal touches that they add that make them stand out. U can tell they care. I hope this place booms and they can renovate it. Keep up the hardwork

Ive spent $100s at this place and i absolutely love it, its at a good price the food taste fresh and cooked in front of you, workers there are always nice, the food is the best part, i get combo over rice almost every time and it never gets old, the chili sauce is really good with french fries, the falafals are also really good, ive tried other halal places but none of them even compare, and they put alot of effort into there place, sadly im moving soon so i wont be able to have it anymore. ive had it atleast three times a week tho, 5 stars

I work in a food desert. Scant choices dot the landscape. Fortunately, Best Express has joined the neighborhood fray. They provide a fresh wholesome lunch or dinner at reasonable prices. Their lamb and chicken combo is my fave!

Closest in tasting like The Hala Guys in nyc....and im talking about the old version when they used real lamb....ive tried em all.....trust me.

The food is what I would expect out of a convenience store. I am visiting New York and just choose the closest place with the best reviews. I wish I had gone more upscale. Its pretty good with the hot sauce but I would say that is a solid 3/5. I am assuming a lot of the reviews are fake.

If you’re not eating here then you’re missing out. Disguised as a convenience store, but puts out some bomb chicken and rice. They are generous with the sauces, but beware of the hot sauce. It is hot! The people who run the store are super friendly and I have zero complaints about this place. It’s a must try! Don’t let the outside fool you - this is some of the best, if not THE best, halal chicken and rice in the area.

The 1st time I ever tried Halal Food was from Best Express. I immediately enjoyed the food and noticed that there have been more Halal restaurants opening on Long Island but so far I have tried 3 others and none of them come close to compare to Best Express. This is HANDS DOWN the BEST Halal food on Long Island!

Don’t let the appearance fool you this is the best halal on Long Island. I know becsue me and my fiancé order halal from them about 3x a week. Food is always delicious and filling, their white sauce and fries are awesome! We originally ordered through door dash and thought wow best halal food EVER. Then when seeing the store itself it’s a tad of a turnoff but regardless we still go and we have never had a problem after a year of eating there consistently. The owner is very nice and always accommodates with whatever extras you may need. 😁

You wouldnt think much of this place because of its appearance at first glance, but I can never say enough good things about it. Ive been searching for so long to find a good halal place that tastes just like halal in the city. Im so happy I found this place. Food is SO damn good!

Fast and good. Sketchy looking spot but if you can get past that, then you are in for the decent affordable meal. I just went there for the first time and I live in the local area. A polite gentleman serve me and a older gentleman was there as well cleaning up.

Best Halal food in Ronkonkoma. Their combo over rice is delicious and everyone must try it. The Lamb Gyro rap is also delicious. I always go at least once a week the owners are friendly and the food is very cheap and extremely delicious. YOU MUST TRY IT!!!!!

The menu is simple and relatively inexpensive, containing only rice plates and sandwiches with chicken, lamb gyro, falafel. You also are given creamy savory white sauce and spicy red sauce. Combo rice bowl - a very large portion that made me really full.

This place is great everyone is really nice and the food is great. Highly recommend giving this place a shot especially if you have a halal craving. This place has become a weekly staple for me.

The one thing I missed most about the 5 boroughs were the Halal Food trucks scattered across the city, until I discovered this place. If what youre looking for is a delicious no-fuss gyro/chicken lunch, this is the place to go. I dont live nearby, but every time I anticipate being in that area around lunch time, Im always sure to end up eating here. Its not unusual for me to go up to 4 days in a row to this place when im in the area! I love their gyros and the handful of fries they include with it. Their samosas and falafels taste like home, too!

Get the combo platter and have as much of the white sauce as you want. Be careful with the red sauce because its likely the sweat of the devil. SO spicy.
