We had China Style for the first time. Excellent! Nice price. There are 2 dine-in tables inside and 2 outside. But I suggest that you use take out. The plastic utensils dont do the food justice, so Id prefer to take home and plate it properly. Best hot sour soup Ive had ... generous serving. My husband and I both had the Hunan Shrimp - one of my go-to dishes. The shrimp quality was excellent ... generous servings. We shall return!

Excellent food! The soups are incredible, and we have never had a dish we did not like. The homemade sweet sauce for egg rolls is fantastic. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. They are wonderful about special requests, such as not adding something you may be allergic too. We are very pleased with this restaurant and frequent there fairly regularly. Ordering on line is really a breeze, too. One of the best kept secrets in Lake Zurich.

I ordered the Fried Dumplings (7). It seems they ran out of this item and instead of removing it off my order at/prior to pick-up, they charged me and gave me 12 pot stickers.The menu is very misleading. The beef ho fun is made with rehydrated wide vermicelli noodles, not the wide thick rice noodle; and comes with a lot of filler. (Im curious what is their beef chow fun then?)The pepper steak is very much their own creation and doesnt resemble the typical dish (it was literally a large pile of *shredded* onions + some beef).The pork lo mein is barbecue pork (charsiu)! Pork and charsiu are very different and should be separate meat options given China Styles extensive menu.

Work in the area and they not only have incredible service, but the food quality is top notch. Always hot and fresh with terrific flavor and we never have to wait too long for our orders. They are closed on Sundays which sucks!

Huge portions. Fried Rice was ok. Lowmein was pretty good. If you like Spicy, make sure you ask for it. Or else its pretty blend.

This place is really good and the Owners are great people. Honestly, I think the food gets better every time we get it. They started with 1 chef, now they have 3 on weekends just to keep up... My last dish was garlic chicken with veggies. Awesome. Also love the Mushu Pork (if thats how to spell it!). The BBQ pork appetizer is also great.

Wow, under new ownership and now this is one of my favorite Chinese restaurant. Ordered their Singapore rice noodle and it was awesome. Fresh ingredients and very flavorful. Will comeback and try more

Wonderful find! I love Chinese food and trying new restaurants. China Style has the BEST rice, soft and moist, even the next day! And EggFoo Young is fresh, generous, and with crispy veggies. Egg rolls large and not over fried but no free sweet&sour sauce, only duck sauce packages. Cant wait to try more!

I have been coming to this place for over 25 years, under both the old ownership and the new. New ownership is generally better in cleanliness, food preparation, and friendliness (that is why the 2 stars). However, and this is a big however, new ownership does not know how to manage their business.When I ordered my food over the phone, I was told it would be 45 minutes. I arrived on time to find 8 customers waiting for their food. I stood waiting for another 30 minutes and still no food. I come to find out after an hour and a half that they havent even cooked my order yet. I walked out and went somewhere else. Here is the kicker, 2 1/2 hours after I ordered my food they called me to tell me my food is ready.Dont waste your time like I did. Plenty of other choices out there.

I LITERALLY CANNOT EXPRESS HOW DELICIOUS THE GARLIC CHICKEN AND SZECHUAN CHICKEN DISHES WERE!!! SOOOOO YUMMY!!! And the steamed dumplings were incredible. The food is SO fresh, the sauces I tasted were fantastic, and when they say spicy they actually mean it. I was not expecting to like it as much as I did. I will be referring China Style to others and definitely ordering again myself. AMAZING

This restaurant is my favorite. I visit a lot of restaurants but to this place I go the most. The crew is very attentive and the cuisine they serve is so fresh and tasty. I never miss an opportunity to have a nice dinner here. I highly recommend this place.

The new owners have done a great job with making this place 100 times better. Its cleaner and they are much friendly. The lunch specials are what you should go for. I got the sezwaun bead curd and it was good. They hot and sour soup was one of the better ones I have had. For 6.50 you cant beat that price for a full meal lunch

This place is amazing. I was visiting for the holidays and after reading a few reviews we gave it a try. Some of the beat Chinese food that I have had in a long time. We ordered it again the last night I was in town.

Very good take out location. The owner has a wonderful personality, always polite on the phone and in person. The food is very good, and the portion sizes are just right. I would like to encourage people to venture out and try other menu items besides Orange Chicken and General Tsos. While those dishes are delicious, they have so many other options as well.

Really excellent Chinese food. I had been here once or twice before the new owners took over, and the restaurant is more than just way better now, it is exceptional. They are doing an amazing job. The food is incredibly flavorful, well priced, large portioned, very fast, and theyre clearly really proud of their work.

I wish I took pictures but I guess I couldnt wait..lol. this place changed names or ownership and Im glad whichever did because I stopped going for years. Quality is exceptional, staff is extremely friendly and the prices are amazing for the quality. We ordered pan fried noodles/house special and the house special fried rice and both tasted fresh, prepared perfectly and were well packaged for take out.

This is very good. The pork fried rice is exactly the way I like my pork fried rice. I just wish the lunch special plate combo things. Offered pork fried rice rather then plain fried rice.

Generally ok. Tried for first time so will try again. Egg rolls were overcooked, way too crunchy. Might be good but skins were so overdone, filling was overpowered. Sweet and sour chicken was tasty, but just came with chicken (plenty) 3 small pieces of pineapple and sauce. It needs green pepper and maybe a chunk of tomato or 2. That would make it much better. Kung pao chicken was good, but a bit lacking in heat, which is it’s signature, but lots of veggies and peanuts which was a good thing. Pork fried rice was very good, our favorite of the night. Now the bad. Shrimp egg foo young came with no gravy. What? Usually served swimming in gravy in our past experiences. I did see gravy as an add-on but never dreamed we’d need to order it separately. It was a Friday night and they were busy so maybe they forgot the gravy??? It truly was not edible without. It’s in the fridge and I’ll go tomorrow and buy gravy. We’ll give the restaurant one more try. We truly want to find spot on Chinese carry out.

Sesame Chicken is excellent. Staff is no-fuss and let me know ahead of time that certain items would take longer to have prepared.Very satisfied. Will visit again when in town.

We order Hunan anytime we just dont have the time to cook. Their sesame beef is very tasty, so is their pepper steak w/ onion, and their Mongolian beef. Any chicken dish I have ordered I have been very satisfied with as well. Their crab rangoon and dumplings are also a staple to every order too because they are just so inexpensive! Overall, this place is the best carry out around for the best price. I can get an entire meal for the family with left overs for less then $20! Their service is also very friendly. TWO THUMBS UP!

Ive been in Lake Zurich 20 years and been to them all....Forget the look, the inside, the decor or anything else for that matter. YOU COME HERE TO PICK UP FOOD AND TAKE IT HOME....ITS THE BEST IN TOWN!!! Forget the 2 or 3 places on Rt12 like China Cafe or Green Garden or anywhere else in town.... I dont think Ive ever posted a negative review before, so this will be a first. It was my first time getting food from this place. Everything seemed fine until I sat down to eat. I got the sesame chicken with fried rice and a spring roll. The sesame chicken was good, as you would expect from a takeout Chinese restaurant. The Ford rice and spring roll seemed to be old food from the night before that was reheated in a microwave. This is unacceptable. No wonder they were the least busy restaurant at this location. All of their competition at this location have better food for a comparable price. I doubt Ill ever get food from them again.

Most delicious Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. So fresh and homemade, perfectly al dente veggies, perfect sauce flavor, not too salty. Will be coming back again and again.

Not sure what happened, but the food is not the same as it has been for many, many years . The General Tsos Chicken, the fried rice, and the egg roll are all very different. Not bad, just not outstanding any more. Sigh.

I have been going here for 11 years and today was the last straw. While picking up my food the little old man that cooks helped at the counter. When it was time to pay I took out my credit card. He looked at my bill fold and said, you pay with cash? I said, NO, I will pay with my debit card which is like cash! He then said, you have alot of cash, so you pay cash! Again, I said NO! He proceeded to take my card with an attitude. After the transaction was over he took my card and flung it at me in disgust. I said in a polite voice, thank you and have good night! He muttered something in Chinese that I assume was not nice. Now I know where the lady at the counter gets it from. She is always rude as well. NEVER again will I set foot in that place!

We ordered the chicken and broccoli and the lo mein. The food was mostly ok. The chicken was a little chewy and the noodle could have used more flavoring. This is a take out only Chinese Food restaurant. The main issue was the different in prices between their web site and the menus they hand out in the stores (significantly higher-$2-$3 than on the site). It felt a little like a bait and switch.

The first sign we got that the food was bad was when the worker dropped a bowl on the dirty floor and then proceeded to put food in it. Secondly the food was beyond fried. The food was like a three year old fried dead rat drowned in extremely sweet sauce. The cabbage in Mou Shu chicken was probably a week ago. The vegetables were ancient same with the meat. Save your money and time by going to a better restaurant.

So I we usually get lunch in this plaza whenever we are working in this part of lake zurich either Sergios or rosatis hunan so today we decided to go to hunan as we are eating I hear this clicking noise at first i couldnt figure the noise out then i remembered it sounded like the clicking noise when you clipping your nails so i get up and what do you know she was clipping her nails behind the counter by the kitchen never will i go again
