So I went to this place this fix my radio 2 months ago, and today smoke came out of the wire at the back of the radio and almost blow up my car. There was smoke everywhere. The guy was rushing so much with the job because they so overbooked.Anyway Thank guy for screwing up my car.They left 3 untapped wires.

Great customer service with explaining what youre getting, extremely nice, knowledgeable, have a waiting area or you can drop off vehicle. Estimated 2 hours to do it and it took exactly 2 hours to do it. Very happy with the work they did.

I had a old 05 Dodge Dakota quad cab i use as the farm truck it had a silencer alarm on it and it wont crank untill you disarm alarm. Well i dropped the only working fob i had and it shattered.Well the alarm started and would not stop. I had to remove positive off batteryI called 32 different alarm places and dodge dealerships no own could help me or have any idea what i was talking about. Untill i called Blvd Customs they knew exactly what to do had done it often and did it for a AWESOME price.I really recommend this place for alarms as well as any customized items for your vehicle!We are back up and hauling Thank you Blvd Customs

Was told I would be given a discount due to my military service...I never got one...For the amount of money I paid, to lift up the custom lid to see bare material and then be told it could be sprayed or carpeted I guess for an additional charge just really was disappointing. Finally, observing the trash and wire clippings left all around the enclosure proved to me that I was NOT a valued customer whose future service BLVD Customs was seeking if I ever wanted more of this type work done. Otherwise, thank you for the work you did correctly.

Definitely a case of don’t judge a book by its cover. It doesn’t have much curb appeal, but they do great work. They installed my Stinger Heigh10 radio in a Jeep Gladiator and did a great job for a great price. I would definitely recommend them.

I highly recommend Blvd Customs! They are very friendly and the staff is very knowledgeable! I had a great first experience and will definitely be a repeat customer as they offer way more than just tint and tunes! I spoke with Jon upon arrival and he took the time to thoroughly explain the tint options to me. Then I spoke with Travis, he was my tint installer and he did an outstanding job! I had a radio install in my town of Brandon. The company I choose messed it up. I called Blvd of Lakeland and asked if they could finish the job with a rear camera connection and regain my steering wheel controls. Jon the owner of the company came outside and took a look. Very polite and straight forward with the details and price. His radio guy, Master-Chin is very skilled in his craft. Apparently my Sentra is very difficult. The regular harness I brought them just didnt fit so rather then sell me on there own parts, He hardwired my camera wires in place and he spent extra time off the clock to figure out how my steering wheel controls could be connected. This tech expert didnt just quit on me like the first company did. He made sure I left satisfied working off the clock as mentioned. Trust me dont waste your time anywhere else. Get it done right the first time. Up front pricing. Dont be discouraged if you call and they dont answer. This place is very busy, but very willing to help.

Update/edit: I arrived exactly on time for my appointment today only to wait 45 minutes exactly to be asked inside. Then patiently waited about 10 more minutes for arrogant and rude Jon to pull up my review and refuse me service unless I removed the review, which is illegal according to the consumer review fairness act! Jon also tried to persuade me by telling me there was no other service companies in the area (more lies) I will be looking further into the proper steps to be taken for this business to be held accountable. I happily left and went to Unique Audio Customs in Lakeland, where Jack promptly serviced my equipment the moment I arrived with a smile and kind words. Ill gladly drive the extra 10 minutes from my house to Unique Audio Customs for any further appointments, as well as audio needs for my vehicle!! They clearly value their customers and treat them with respect unlike this business. Honestly Id drive an extra hour or more to receive proper customer service rather than subject myself to this type of horrible service!!! As for the reply to my review, I was reviewing the service I received from boulevard customs and its employees, not that of alcolock. Reviews are to help businesses improve, and help other consumers know what they are getting into, not for you to bash a person or refuse service because their honest opinion!Mike is nice and seemingly empathetic. The main guy (manager I believe) however, is arrogant and rude! After multiple visits by appointment, I can honestly say this place has %0 customer service in all its areas including service quality, response time, and overall experience. Reasons for my rating are mainly but not limited to the fact that when I was 2 minutes late for appointment I was told I would have to wait till they could squeeze me in or reschedule, but if I was on time or early I would still be waiting for their convenience, all for a 15 minute job. On my very first appointment I was not properly informed how the equipment worked because the employees are over booked every time I go (6 times in 4 months), so they are never fully committed to the job at hand due to the stress and distraction of too many customers waiting. After witnessing people going here by choice for vehicle audio or tint and still waiting to receive horrible customer service and over priced products and/or installation, I will most definitely not be going here for any of my vehicle audio and aesthetic upgrades! I would recommend shopping around before subjecting yourself to this poor service.

LOVE MY CAR even more! Last April I wanted a stereo in my new car. Didn’t know ANYTHING about them. Found Blvd. Customs of Lakeland on-line after Best Buy blew me off and I stormed out of their door.Jon was very patient, informative and worked well with me. Then, I also added a front and back camera, radar detector, Top Notch Security Alarm, remote start and, one heck of a Sound System!Sometimes I’m technology disadvantaged and it took me awhile to figure out how the radio system worked (maps, MP3, satellite radio, etc.). I went in yesterday to try and get a diagnosis on my radio problems. One of the employees asked what time would be convenient for me and worked with me on when they could check it out. I was told to come in the next day at 9. Sure enough as 9 am rolls by, I pull up to the shop and Robert assisted me right away. They should change there name to Get you STR8 Customs because that’s what the owner did with my vehicle I had a small issue after a install with one of my amps (ground wire)and the owner stayed after hours of closing on a Saturday to fix the issue. I was more than happy with the install and would highly recommend them if you are looking to get high-quality audio equipment & great customer service.

Had several jobs done here and they do excellent work for a fair price.

Drove an hour and a half for our appointment we had scheduled the day before. Spoke to the Owner and was VERY specific about what we wanted down to the percentage of darkness and was told 90$.The owner stated that the only tint he used was American made high quality tint. Walked in for our appointment and they tried the old bait and switch. What they quoted on the phone was not the actual price. Now they needed 20$ more for 20% darkness. 35% is legal so what he meant was 20$,more for illegal. Blvd customs offered its clients a remarkable service, per their website. It was remarkable, remarkably bad. At no time did they offer to honor the price quoted, or to admit to bait and switch. We walked out the door and went to their competition down the street. Fantastic experience and well worth the drive. Should have used them first. We will certainly use them again. One thing is for certain, we will never use or recommend BLVD.P.S. they are currently running a special for two windows and a visor for LESS than they tried to charge my husband for just two windows. Shady and unethical business practices. Stay away or buyer beware.Edit: So you quoted 89.99 over the phone. When he walked in your tint tech said it would be $20 more for what you quoted over the phone. The American made comment is a joke. All your audio equipment is made in China so please don’t pretend to be all about America. You proved us right, in saying that you would charge do something illegal for $20 more. Good to know. We stand by our review and all you’re doing now is trying to back pedal. You could have called and resolved the issue instead of instead of having a kid try to up stuff to a man that’s has been in the auto industry for over 30 years.

My experience at this business has been nothing but good I had my system put in in New York and they did a horrible job John promised that he,d be able to fix it and he definitely did. I never had a problem with it when I turn it on it always comes on and sounds great.

Went in for a quote for a simple installation fast talker came out to my truck trying to run up a bill! He quoted me 1 price, I agreed, took the appointment for later that afternoon, but when I came back he tried to slip in close to another 200.00$ . Overpriced, waist of time.

I went here to get my 2 12 inch subs installed and I dont regret it. They are fast, nice, and professional. I would definitely go back for more car mods. I dont trust anyone else to touch my car in mods. The cost for the service was reasonable. I recommend Blvd Customs of lakeland.

A professional and knowledgeable small business. I was extremely impressed with Jon and his team. Customer service was solid. Answered all my questions...and I had a ton. The installer was personable and did a fantastic job. I took my wifes new Mazda CX9 the day after we bought it because I wanted the paint protection film installed on the front before any bugs or rocks had a chance to hit it. If you look at the front of a CX9 its very complicated and to think I was going to try it myself...the job they did is flawless!!! After the job was done, I drove away knowing Ive got complete UV protection for the inside of the car and that the front is completely protected by the paint film. When factoring the service, expertise, and quality work...I definitely got my moneys worth.I included a picture of the front hood so you can see for yourself... the front 1/3 of the car has the clear film. Bug guts come off so easily. I had the side view mirrors done as well. Its my first time having clear film installed on a car and its so worth it!!

I called last week to schedule maintenance to my aftermarket stereo equipment. I had called Tunes and Tints before calling Blvd and I was shocked they were trying to rip me off for a 15 minute service. Jon helped me over the phone and I came in today. The tech knew ahead of time that I would be in. He did the update and my system is running great. The cost was fair and service was quick. I would recommend you call here before going anywhere else.

The customer service here is fantastic. I ordered a backup camera online for my vehicle and decided that this place was a solid choice for the installation based on all of the positive reviews. They were having some difficulty with the installation, but they went above and beyond taking additional time out of their day to make it happen. Jon was also doing research online and even attempted to contact the manufacturer of the camera to help with troubleshooting. Ultimately, they were self-sufficient and able to successfully install the camera. I really appreciated the level of effort that went into their work. The price was very reasonable, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have the same work performed on their vehicle.

These guys are real pros, I handed them my limited edition 2018 Focus RS and they did everything to it from window tinting, install a set of front and rear splitters and polished, waxed and install paint protection film on the car. Give Jon a call, best in the business 🚫🧢

A few months ago, I had them put tint on the front two windows of my new Used car to match the manufacturer and a 1 shade darker strip on the front. They did it quick, no bubbles, everything is great.

Had new speakers installed on an older Lexus we had years ago. Fast efficient job done and they sounded great.Fast forward to 3 years ago and they tinted the windows on our Q5. Did a great job again and done very efficiently.Three years later, today, they brought in Terry to do a complete exterior and interior detailing for the same Q5. He worked on it for 7 hours, which is typical by the way, and did an incredible job. The vehicle looks brand new, probably better.Highly recommend Blvd for any of the services they offer. Quality, attention to detail, very knowledgeable.

I had some after market sound deadening work performed by Jon and crew at Blvd Customs on my 2019 Tiguan, I vehicle I like very much, but found to be noisy, especially in the drivers seat. I have had this sort of thing done in the past, but this was by far the most dramatic difference, in part thanks to a product they use by FOCAL(Check it out!) and a few little tweaks to the stock speakers. Anyhow, the noise levels at highway speeds are dramtically reduced, and the stock speaker now sound quite good. I insulated all 4 doors and the floor pan from the front to the back of the rear seats( I opted for no 3rd row seats at vehicle purchase). MONEY WELL SPENT. Jon sent me progress pics, and Mikey, one of the installers who handled the install was extremely easy to work with. The vehicle was finished a couple hours early to boot. I highly recommend this business and their products. Ill be back again. Thanks! JP

After researching and visiting audio installation companies I decided upon Blvd Customs. Jon was able to help direct me to my new Pioneer Audio/GPS Navigation system. These guys were the absolute best. I took them a problem that another audio shop couldnt fix after I took it two them three times which ended up leaving with a $300 bill and a unfixed problem. These guys took 30 minutes and had my speakers fix for $50 bucks. I would recommend these guys to anyone that is asking for car audio shops.

Had a great experience at this shop. Jon, the owner educated me on so much stuff that I never knew before I came in. Got the best window tint package they offered and a full audio system upgrade. Every person who worked there was very professional and I enjoyed watching them work on my vehicle, while I also got to watch a couple of movies on their flat screen in the waiting room. My class C sprinter RV was much to noisy in the cab. I brought my RV in to see what could be done to quiet the ride. John, the owner went through step by step on what materials and where they could be installed. We left the RV and they went to work. The ceiling, doors and floor were all sound proofed. John kept to schedule and budget. We couldn’t be happier with the quietness of the cab. We also had the windows tinted. We highly recommend John and his shop for all the work they do.

Very polite staff but the owner was very rude. He did not provide a cost breakdown for the materials and service he was providing. His material costs were also very inflated. I got the same service done at Best Buy for almost half the cost. They provide price matching to Amazon and crutchfield and give a cost breakdown before purchasing. Shop around before you go here.

Had issues with a radio I installed and Jon and team were great at identify the issue. I ended up replacing the radio, adding new speakers and adding a subwoofer. My Corvette sounds great! I will highly recommend Blvd Customs to anyone!

The People at blvd customs are very professional. They helped me fix my back mid range drivers. The factory ones were ten years old and needed to be replaced, so I bought a pair of Focal mid range drivers and had them installed now my car sounds better than factory.!

These guys are the best! John and his guys (Rob and Mike) are very knowledgeable, highly skilled and are all about service. I just had them do a custom install on my second Land Cruiser purchase (they did my first one too) and I couldnt be happier. They did exactly what they said they would do; got it done on time and on budget too. The system sounds great and the custom work is exceptional. (Rob is the man!) I wont take my vehicles anywhere else.

This is THE custom audio shop to go to in the Lakeland area. Amazing owner, awesome crew, top-notch craftsmanship. Theyve been around for decades. I only take my car to this shop for audio/tinting/radar work. I cant recommend this place enough. My BRZ sounds/looks top notch.

Blvd Customs did an excellent job of installing a Pioneer touch screen audio/video system with a rear view camera in my Chevy Suburban. The work was done quickly, and all of the components including the radio unit, wiring harness specifically designed for Bose and On Star, and the rear view camera were in stock at their facility. Expert advice was provided to select the equipment suited to my needs and to guide me in using the system. Jon, Magic Mike and Eddie worked as a team to get the work done flawlessly and at a reasonable price.

Just had my second Harley Streetglide amp and Focal install done by Blvd. They did a great job and sell a great product. Blvd has done numerous installs over the years for me. If you want a rocking crisp clear stereo system, blvd is the place. My systems they have installed have been second to none when it comes to sound quality. Highly recommend!

I have a 2016 the challenge of finding a place to put my satellite radio was hard, but with Jons knowledge he knew right where it would work. On Friday I had the pleasure of being at Blvd Customs most of the day while they installed a radio and speakers into my 72 Nova.
