Best gun shop in Central Florida! Al always has a vast collection of firearms, ammunition and holsters. He also has an entire case of pre-owned firearms. If you dont see it, Al can get it. Al and his staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I have been a long-time customer and will travel over an hour to visit Guns Galore.

Every time I go into this store every employee and the owner have always been extremely professional and always friendly. Makes the entire experience much more satisfying. The owner shows that he truly wants to provide more then a service to his customers AND his community. Bought a Canik Tp9sfx here and extremely satisfied, in fact it was cheaper then my brothers (bought elsewhere). Ill be back soon for the next one. No need to go anywhere else anymore.

Been shopping there for years. Way over priced and wont give you 25% of the value of a gun. You buy a brand new gun and it jams constantly, not their problem. Send it back to the manufacturer. Very rude if you return to the store asking about issues. NOT THEIR PROBLEM!!

I have bought guns from them in the past years because of their service. Never again. They cost me so much time by being rude and slow with customer service on a recent gun purchase(well should have been a gun purchase). They are price gauging on ammo bad too, I know everyone has raised ammo prices but 30 dollars for 20 gauge target sells. Come on do not buy ammo from them it can be found a lot cheaper right down the road. I will pay a little more if service is friendly and helpful. Rude and slow you better have the best prices around. If you are tired of dealing with customers get out business.

We walked in after searching a few places around Lakeland which were either busy or out of stock. Heard great things about this place and was really looking forward to it. Never received a warm welcome nor acknowledgement. We stood at the pistol section for a bit and the lady actually came but...never said a word. We literally took a Step back and of course she acknowledged the customers hat just walked in behind us. We were interested in the AR under the pistols but too bad...

I have been visiting Guns Galore when their shop was around the corner and had a gun range, always felt safe and never worried that because I was a woman I would get treated differently, they gave me respect and courtesy and always answered questions without hesitation, I just completed their concealed weapons permit class and learned a lot, it was enjoyable, they are my favorite gun shop.

Very professional and friendly. They had a hard to find/in high demand pistol in stock at a very reasonable price. I am very pleased with my purchase and the level of service they provided.

This was the WORST place that I have ever gone to CONSIDER purchasing a firearm. The owner was the rudest and most belittling person that I have ever met. The friend that I went in with had $500.00 cash to purchase a S&W shield. right from the start made rude comments to my friend when he asked is he could show him the firearm. When my friend mentioned that he read that the S&W factory hired a 3rd shift to meet demand, the owner replied Oh yea, you believe everything you read?. My friend replied that he considered himself to be pretty well informed and educated person that does extensive research. Then he said Oh you consider yourself to be pretty smart do you? At this point we were done and left. My friend is a Corporate Employee for one of the largest Grocery Businesses in the south east. Worst place ever went to. DO NOT go here for ANYTHING, even an extra mag for your AK. They were charging $22.00 and down the street is $10.99 for the same mag. RIPOFF

I have purchased 3 or 4 guns at this store and have found the prices to be fair. Working with AL has been great, he will joke with you about things and I think this gets people upset. Every time I visit Guns Galore I am greeted by a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. One of the best selection of firearms in central Florida. Their repair and modification services are outstanding. I highly recommend that you go to Guns Galore first and save yourself time and walk out knowing you made the right choice.

I have contacted Guns Galore Via phone two times within the past week and I was treated very poorly both times. I was astounded by the way I was treated when I asked for a price range (NOT a Price Quote but a Range) so I knew around about how much I was looking at. I asked about a 9mm. He told me that he had a 9mm under 200.00 then when I asked what type it was. I was told Dont you think I have provided you with enough information! REALLY? Who speaks like that to their customers!!! I guess they are rich enough that they dont need to be nice anymore. I would hate to be in their shoes when they get humbled! WOW! I cannot believe the rudeness of that place. The same thing happened to me last week and I thought I would give it another try thought that maybe he was just having a bad day. But that truly is the type of people they have representing their business! Needless to Say I will be taking my business ELSEWHERE!

Just got my Glock 19 yesterday. Al and Warren gave me a great deal without the stress and crowds that you put up with at the gun show. I didnt have to pay $8 to park and $12 to get in. Their price was $50 less than Shoot Straight. I paid $70 less than my friend did at the show. Thanks guys! Ill definitely be back.

Wouldn’t give a price over the phone and instructed to come in personally to see prices. Once I entered the store I wasn’t greeted until after walking around looking for said gun. Once I was asked if there was anything they could do for me, I asked about said gun and was instructed to go to the case I already looked at. Waited around another few minutes and started to walk out and then the worker/owner said he was going to go look in the back. Too late. What a waste of time gas and money. If their prices were that competitive they would give them out over the phone. I hate shoot straight but I’m heading there to make a purchase.

I have never dealt with the company over the phone, which seems to be what many of the complaints are about, but every time I have gone into the store, I have received great customer service and had a very personable experience. I also ended up paying less for my .45 than I could have paid at other gun stores. They have a great selection of firearms as well. This is my favorite gun store in the area!

I visit Guns Galore on a regular basis. I have purchased ammo and a couple of hand guns recently and found the staff to be knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. I sometimes wonder when negative responses are posted for Guns Galore if they are in fact actual experiences or just dumbasses looking to get something for nothing. Guns Galore should be on your list if you are looking for ammo, long guns, hand guns or accessories. You will not be disappointed.

Im sorry you had a bad experience because We had an excellent experience. I certainly hope anyone reading the reviews will form their own experience by trying it themselves. We made a purchase and the service was great. The store is very well organized, the people were knowledgeable and friendly. They had a great selection of guns, and hard to find ammo. Prices were reasonable and again.... I cant say enough how well the store is organized, clean and clutter free. Certainly make buying easy and stress free. Will go back! Try the store! Its worth it.

Strong customer service and the price stated was less than another nearby store had priced a used gun for. This is my second purchase from Guns Galore. Al was kind enough to order a particular model that he didnt have on display and I can tell you, he kept the profit margin to very reasonable level.You wont find this kind of consideration at comparable stores, due to this, I dont have to hunt down a good deal - because it is right here.

The staff are very knowledgable and experienced with firearms. They probably have what you are looking for in stock, and if not, can get it in a timely fashion. I am a repeat customer and will continue to do business with Guns Galore.

I had a similar experience as the gentlemen above. The owner was so full of himself it was sickening. He was condescending, arrogant, and had not a clue about customer service. He quoted me a price via phone conversation; when arrived to purchase the gun his price had increased $50. Not only did he not own up to the conversation we just had and honor the price, he called me a liar and ask that I bring the rest of the money tomorrow. This place is a dirty old pawn shop and is a poor excuse for a LGS. I suggest going to shoot straight or ultimate arms as they treat you like a customer and not an inconvenience.I WILL not be back and will advise anyone interested in purchasing a firearm to NOT go to Guns Galore Inc.

Great place to shop, but the only other place where I have seen higher prices is Shoot Straight.

I went to get a gun there,and the guy working there acted like it was a bother. He would take out a gun,hold it up for for three seconds and then put it back in the case with out offering to let me hold it. I came back like an idiot for a second time because I like one gun in particular,and when I asked him to show it to me he said Ive already showed you every gun in the place. What a jerk. I will never go back there again. I dont care if he has guns for a dollar. It will be one dollar he will not get from me. Dont waste your time going here.P.S. Smith and Wesson arent what they used to be. Smith and Wesson was bought out by Saf-T-Hammer Corporation,and as a result only give a one year very limited/contracted warranty. And if some thing goes wrong with your gun,expect to be waiting a long long time before you get it back. So if you buy a Smith and Wesson,,,,,,dont break it.lol

If youre in the market for a firearm and youre in the North Lakeland area do yourself a favor and stop by. Ive known Al (the owner of this quaint gun store) for almost three years now; hes a charmer and hilarious man. Ill never forget the first time I stepped foot into the store. I had just turned 21 and was looking for a semi auto pistol. I really wanted a Walther p99, which unfortunately for me had recently been discontinued by Walther. He spent a solid 20 minuets on the computer trying to make my Christmas, his words, not mine. Ever since then Ive sent my family, friends and anyone asking to Guns Galore. Dont be shocked if Al hassles you a little or picks on you, thats just his style, but trust me, hes the most genuine salesman I know, in the end he wants whats best for you.

Al just didnt seem interested in selling a suppressor to me. I asked two questions which really didnt get answered and as I stood there attempting to continue the discussion he walked to his desk and sat at his computer, disinterested in my desire to buy. The young man I spoke to at first about the glock 42 and 43 was very nice and helpful however. Sorry Al, I will not be buying anything from you. I wont even use you for an FFL. Nice thing about Lakeland, there are plenty of nice people I can do business with.

Explained what I was looking to accomplish and Warren found me the perfect match.

Nice selection. But thats it... I walked in with cash and a ccw and still couldnt get good service. Asked them to install a set of sights on a pistol (10min job) and i was told they were too busy. Then with me being the only one in the store was told i would i would have to leave it overnight because they didnt have time. Then both employees starting wiping off counter tops. I said i couldnt leave it because it was my esc weapon. He got really offended and refused to talk to me after that. All in all id rather shoot blind then go there again.

I rarely advocate spending more money for any item but, when it comes to this facility just drive past them and spend your money at Shoot Straight. Even the Sheriff is quoted as saying Guns Galore had 12 guns stolen during a robbery on Dec. 24 but business owner had not since installed or implemented any additional security measures, according to law enforcement.Retail gun dealers have a moral and ethical obligation to safely secure their firearms inventory from theft, Judd said. Is it too much to ask, Guns Galore, to harden your store and make it a little more difficult for your firearms to be stolen and transferred to the criminal marketplace?Al? whats been going on? Relying on your neighbors for security? I can only imagine those prices if you do decide to heed law enforcements warnings and place a updated security system with enhanced cameras in place.I dont naturally wish ill will upon anyone but, after many years in this community and watching several people/companies take advantage of others, its hard not to sit back and smile sometimes while you think, you reap what you sow. Hopefully youll take this opportunity to do the right thing on many fronts for not only the security of your business but, the reputation. Lightning doesnt strike twice, unless of course it has a reason.
