We had a great experience from the tasting months before to actually cutting and eating our cake on wedding day. Not only did Cake Makers make our dream wedding wedding cake with the gold foil but it was seamlessly delivered with no issues. I love a good bakery and everything they make here is delicious! Two things this place is really good at is RUDENESS and UNPROFESSIONALISM. I don’t mind paying money for a good, quality cake, but I do mind giving rude, disrespectful and ungrateful people my money. Save yourself the stress and find another baker who appreciates current and future customers.

I work downtown as well, so Im always here when I have a break. The ice-cream is so rich, n buttery it makes you want more. My favorite is the cookie monster. If the name doesnt get you inner childs attention, the bright blue ice cream, and cookie dough pieces definitely will. N of course, Ice cream isnt amazing without sprinkles and they never disappoint.

Amazing!!! Cakes look amazing and taste fantastic. Cake Makers Studio has been our go-to for special occasions for several years! We had a Hogwarts theme b-day...they nailed it with the cake! We recommend cookies-n-cream and strawberry:). Side note... everything you see was edible (except the two toy figures).

Update...ironically Facebook recommended Cake Makers Studio might be something I follow. So I hit their link to find that Ive been blocked after giving the same review as below on Facebook. I guess the way to cure rudeness is to ignore the comments (look through the reviews...multiple ones regarding the owner. Yes, the cakes look great but thats due to the great decorator and not the ownership) instead of being nice. FYI, great and pleasant shop in Winter Haven called Custom Goodies!!!RUDE RUDE RUDE and so disappointing!!! The owner asked me to meet her at specific time to talk about cake options for a birthday cake. When I arrived, the door was locked (even though past opening time listed on the door and website) and after continuous knocking, the decorator came from the back. I explained what I needed and thankfully she helped. The owner came in about an hour later and didnt even acknowledge me and when I mentioned our appointment she just said was busy. Decided to take a chance on another cake but wanted to talk directly to the decorator. Was told that I could not and could only order something off the website. I tried to explain that just a few weeks before I had ordered something specific and asked to speak to the owner. Again, told that I could not and then hung up on me. Tried calling back several times and nobody picked up the first four time and the final time they picked up and slammed the phone down. Dont go unless you like horrible customer service and rude people. If youre looking for a decorator, hire theirs.

Wonderful treats here! We stopped in late afternoon on a Saturday. Hubby got ice cream that he really enjoyed. I picked out four little chocolates and a strawberry cake pop. A sweet woman was there and kindly answered our questions (it being our first time in) and served us promptly. Highly recommend this gem of a find in Lakeland!

Oh Wow ! This place is Heaven, when you get in this place the smell is amazing, the Ice Cream is mouth watering. They have a variety of things in there, if you are a Healthy person they have veggie and fruit smoothies. I highly recommend this place for Wedding and Quinceañera Cakes.

A very dear friend of mine had a very bad experience at this place recently. She ordered a $500 cake for a landmark birthday for her best friend and due to covid-19 the party was unfortunately cancelled. My friend called this place to let them know the party has been canceled and that she needed to cancel the cake she ordered. She asked them to hold onto the order because would most likely reorder the exact cake again, once they knew the rescheduled date for party, in the next few weeks. When she asked for her $550 refund, ($500 cake + $50 delivery), not only did the owner refuse to give her a refund for the cake, but he also refused to give her a refund on the $50 delivery charge! **Please understand that the cake was not made, since the order was placed weeks in advance, so no materials had been used, no employee hours used, and of course there was obviously no delivery. So the owner was out zero cost on this whole situation. Again, my friend cost this guy ZERO DOLLARS, gave him $550 in advance, and he refused to give her a refund of her money! He even had the audacity to tell her to ask for her refund FROM THE FRIEND SHE WAS ORDERING THE CAKE FOR, AS A BIRTHDAY GIFT!! WHAT A JERK. CAVEAT EMPTOR!! BUYER BEWARE!! My friend is newly widowed and has a teenage son and cannot afford to just throw away $550!. I am going to copy and paste this review everywhere possible. This jerk should not be allowed to get away with stealing money from potential customers.

Ive got a birthday cake yesterday. For paying over $70, I was hoping it would look and taste good. Looked 4 out of 5 and tasted 2 out of 5.. it was dry and less than average.. sorry guys 3 stars is more than fair..

When you need the very best go to cake makers studio. We had Cake Makers Studio create our cake for Zombie Fest, not just any cake, no one else could have pulled off what they did! People could not stop talking about it. These guys are right up there with Cake Boss as far as creativity and taste!

Luis made the cupcakes and wedding cake for my son and daughter-in laws wedding and did an outstanding job. He met every expectation we had. The cupcakes were Hummingbird, Red Velvet, Chocolate and Almond which were all extraordinary!The two smaller wedding cakes were Hummingbird and the wedding cake was an almond cake with raspberry filling. The cakes were moist and the frosting was wonderful!We would highly recommend Cake Makers Studio for your next event!

Absolutely incredible experience with CMS. Ive been Door Dashing their ice cream for a while (phenomenal BTW), so when my kids 8th birthday came around, I said, heck, the ice creams amazing, maybe the cake is too. I ordered a Galaxy themed cake, and with some back and forth on designs, we came to an agreement. I picked it up today and not only was it everything my kid wanted, it was incredibly delicious! I will be doing all my celebratory desserts from CMS!

We have only had their cupcakes and ice cream but their cupcakes are so moist! They are delicious we plan on using them for our kids birthday cakes this year and can not wait to try them out! We love this place!

I called Cake Makers Studio last minute, 4 days before the party) to see if they could accommodate a cake for my mothers 57th Birthday. They were very polite and thankfully were able to help us out with short notice. When the cake arrived EVERYONE was amazed!!! The cake turned out better than the picture I sent as a comparison. The cake was so detailed and beautiful that we didn’t want to cut into it. When we finally did all I could hear was everyone commenting on how delicious it was. Cake Makers Studio will forever be my one and only choice for custom cake making in Lakeland, FL!!!

I came in last night for the first time and the employee had a terrible attitude! I asked to sample three ice creams. The lady was very rude the entire time and I ended up just saying never mind I don’t want the ice cream anymore and left. I asked her if I could get a small cup or cone with two flavors and she told me no. I told a guy that was waiting behind me to go ahead and saw him order a small cone and she gave him two scoops of ice cream. I asked her if I could get the same cone but with cookies n cream and butter peacan and she told me no. I literally saw her give the man two scoops or dips of ice cream. Smh I felt a negative vibe when I first walked in. I should’ve listened to my intuition

Shakes are seven dollars and certainly overpriced. A little cake pop is the same price as a full cupcake. There is an incredibly small amount of desserts to pick from. The employee was very kind but she has told us herself that she does not enjoy the cupcakes. The cake is dense and flavorless and the icing is far too sweet, thick, and also lacks flavor. The cupcakes were moist so thats a bonus. At least one of the cupcakes had lard icing but they all tasted that way to me. My family of four ate from three cupcakes. The little one didnt like her pieces of the cupcakes and nobody wanted to eat them for her because nobody liked them.

I ordered my husbands 40th birthday cake from here, guitar shapedI, along with some pick-shaped cookies. It was a work of art and it blew the minds of every single person that saw it! The detail is incredible and the service we received went above and beyond. I was very impressed with the taste of the cake, very moist and flavorful. Everyone deserves a cake from Cake Makers Studio at least once in their lives. Unforgettable!!!

My wife is a huge horror movie fan and Luis made an awesome Michael Myers cake for her October birthday and at a very reasonable price. Thank you sir not only did it look unbelievable but the best tasting cake I ever had.

The employee that was there was super rude. It was our first time there, and she didnt make a very good impression. She had the worst attitude the entire time, didnt even bother to explain anything to us, and at check out she didnt even thank us she swiped my card and then walked off. Although the store looked beautiful on the inside as so did the goodies but her horrible service just made us want to never step foot in there again.

This place was not worth my money they have terrible service, the female employee is so rude, and when they gave me my ice cream it had long strings of hair they dont wash their hands or wear gloves and i seen a roaches inside NOT WORTH MY TIME DONT GO HERE !!!
